Vengeance Wrought

~~Ink Battlefield~~

"Where exactly are they right now?" Someone in Azure Void Pass asked, with a curious look.

"I… This boy. He is set up to gain the best vengeance one can get. To think he would choose the spot his parents fell all those years ago." An 8th Rank Open Heaven said. "Hit them where it hurts!" They yelled out.

"Hey, isn't that…" Someone else asked, looking over at the overly excited 8th rank.

"Shush, don't finish that thought. We don't need to bring that side of the event up. It was no one's fault other than those five Territory Lords." Another person interrupted, shaking their head slowly.

~~Somewhere In Ink Battlefield~~

"What the hell are you talking about! I've killed so many humans I can't possibly remember all of them." One of the Territory Lords shouted, while pissing themselves.

Lei Jin's face grew incredibly infuriated. A look of desire for vengeance became even more pronounced. His fury flew into a torrent. His anger alone was enough to make the fabric of existence tremble. Xin Xia, standing hand in hand with Lei Jin, felt this same anger. The two of them held each other's hand firmly, to reinforce they were there for each other. They felt each other's pain, and sorrow.

"NOT ONLY DID YOU KILL MY PARENTS! BUT YOU KILLED THEM FROM YOUR MEMORY AS WELL!" Lei Jin roared with furious sadness.

"Husband, let us begin. The sword and I both are aching to cut through these scum." Xin Xia, said with a smile, a smile displaying the furious intent.

The two of them had no killing intent. They didn't see the Territory Lords in front of them as equals. How could they bear to show killing intent. Instead it was a pure lust for vengeance. One born of nothing but platonic love for family. And a sense of making things right. Lei Jin gave a nod and kissed Xin Xia.

"The time has come. Xin Xia, my wife, my love, let us go forth and avenge the family." Lei Jin smiled, with a pleasant and calm look in his eyes.

"HA! When Master Ink comes out of his imprisonment you'll surely suffer death." A Territory Lord taunted. "Hmph with this he will fear the Ink Clan again. Just the way it's supposed to be…" They thought with a forced evil smirk.

The next instance of time the Territory Lord that had spoken, appeared to be removed from existence. Very few people would have been able to keep track of the movements Lei Jin and Xin Xia made just then. As a result, Lei Jin made sure to slow it down in the viewing screen above each Pass.

Lei Jin and Xin Xia flew at the Territory Lord with great speed. Their interlocked hands aimed directly at the Territory Lords neck. Tearing it off from its shoulders. Lei Jin smashed the body into oblivion with the Sun Hammer. And Xin Xia had diced up the Territory Lord's head like a melon. And then a fluctuation of chaos appeared. Sucking in the remains of the Territory Lord, leaving absolutely nothing behind.

"You're next." Lie Jin and Xin Xia said coldly, and fixed their eyes on another Territory Lord. "MAY YOU FEEL ETERNAL PAIN AND SUFFERING OF INFINITE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ALL COMPOMPOUNDED TOGETHER!" They shouted in unison.

Lei Jin and Xin Xia, repeated the process multiple times, until all five of the Territory Lords had been eliminated. Each of them suffering a death worse than anything all of humanity could possibly imagine. An excruciatingly intense amount of pain. A pain that rendered their souls to suffer the pain for the rest of time.

"My Human Race will be victorious in this war! We will gain the vengeance we are owed. And we will do it by our own hand!" Xin Xia declared.

"The Ink Clan is strong. But we are stronger. Their Supreme Master, the progenitor of their kind, Ink. Is powerful. However, I am stronger. I will fight and defeat him, ending the source of all the Ink Clan for the rest of time." Lei Jin declared. "However, there is another thing I must do." He said, closing his eyes and concentrating.

~~Great Evolution Pass~~

"The monument of the fallen! Look at it! The monument is being repaired!" Someone shouted out pointing at the monument.

Lei Jin, had focused to the point he got a vision of the monument at its peak condition. Just before the major attack by the Ink Clan. With it he now had an accurate time frame of how far he needed to push the monument's time back. And the 30,000 years it had been broken slowly disappeared. The monument finished returning to a point in time it was without any breaks or damage.

"I refuse to allow those who have fought and died, to be forgotten by even time itself. May their names forever be remembered by my Human Race, and our allies the Ancient Divine Spirits." Lei Jin said, opening his eyes again. "For it was through their sacrifice we have made it to this day. A day where our victory in the crisis of survival is assured." He spoke with noble prestige. "Now then! Let us celebrate our new found strength. And the vengeance we will have. Drink, and recover your strength. The final battle is still yet to be fought." He added, having a mountain of various wines and treats summoned in each of the passes.

The party began. And everyone did their utmost to enjoy this moment. A moment of safety and relaxation. As well as the feeling of having a supreme master born among the Human Race. A master with the power to obliterate the enemy.

"I knew it. The heavens blessed us with such a good seedling. Those two… I hope you're proud of that boy of yours. He has grown into a fine young man. A powerhouse of my Human Race. I only wish that you would have been able to see him grow up yourselves. That is my one, and only regret in this life." Sir Azure Void thought, as he watched the party unfold. "I should have healed faster and intervened in that fight personally. Maybe then, they would still be alive to this day." He accidentally muttered aloud.
