Being a bottom feeder in society is an unpleasant experience.

That's how Kiro felt after being left for dead in a back alley. Abandoned and disappointed by the 'work hard' ethic his parents left for him.

'At least the heavens are weeping for me.'	As the light from his eyes faded, he declared as the last act of defiance.

He awoke in a room he hadn't seen in ten years. Whether it was due to sheer luck or divine intervention, he was grateful.

'Through the VR game, Asgard, I'll become filthy rich in this life time.'


Kiro was blissfully unaware that his return was a cry for something greater, for the underlying threats that hovered over his world.

The Earth After Rebirth

"I have a feeling we've forgotten why we came here," Hiro said, jerking his axe out of some monster's eye. It was buried deep, so it took him a few tries.

Instead of coming out normally, the axe went through the skull and severed one of the thing's horns, before coming out completely. Hiro winced at the spectacle.

"We haven't forgotten, can't help that the boss keeps these minions coming. Besides you're getting the legendary herbs, aren't you?" They've had the argument for some time, he wasn't in the mood for another round.

Hiro didn't think he should've accepted the challenge without everyone's input. Not that he cared about that, the only thing that was important to him, was getting the legendary potion ingredients and possibly some crafting material.
