Synopsis

Being a bottom feeder in society is an unpleasant experience.

That's how Kiro felt after being left for dead in a back alley. Abandoned and disappointed by the 'work hard' ethic his parents left for him.

'At least the heavens are weeping for me.' As the light from his eyes faded, he declared as the last act of defiance.

He awoke in a room he hadn't seen in ten years. Whether it was due to sheer luck or divine intervention, he was grateful.

'Through the VR game, Asgard, I'll become filthy rich in this life time.'

Kiro was blissfully unaware that his return was a cry for something greater, for the underlying threats that hovered over his world.

I'll be shameless just this once and rate my own novel. 😅 This is my first ever attempt at getting my writing out there. As expected, it's nerve-wracking. I hope you enjoy reading it as much I loved writing it. Thank you for your support.

Reading the title and all, I thought this was going to be a boring geographic novel (dunno why I thought so, I am dumb) Anyways, the author sure surpassed my expectations. Great work Author.

Firstly, the concept of the novel seems intriguing and full of potential. The idea of exploring a world where humans have evolved due to a catastrophic event and the juxtaposition of advanced technology and human greed is a captivating premise that could attract readers. Secondly, the main character's journey of self-discovery and redemption through his second chance at life could make for a compelling story. The mystery surrounding his return and the world he finds himself in creates an engaging plot that could keep readers hooked. Finally, my advice would be to focus on creating well-developed characters and an immersive setting that transports readers to this futuristic world. Consider exploring themes of human nature, morality, and the consequences of our actions, which could add depth and meaning to the story. Overall, keep writing and exploring the possibilities of this unique and exciting world you have created. 👍

Enjoying this a lot so far, I've found the story engaging enough with an interesting premise and execution. Hope the author can continue writing this and it's not dropped some day.

Among the new novels out there, this one really shines like a beacon. Although there are some amateurish writing here and there, the plot premise and overall storyline is great! My only complaint is that Earth doesn’t have interstellar travel even thousands of years in the future. For a sci-fi fan, it sure hurts… Still, a great novel with superb potential!

Sounded interesting in the summary, though, after reading a few chapters i cant get interested enough in the MC to continue, but the biggest probem for me is the world building, even if the story is 2000 years in the future humanity stagnated in the 20th century, no matter how much you want to play victim and blame the world technology will aways bleed through all layers of society (just not a the same time) if not for the simple fact that we live in a capitalist economy (the same reason slavery ceased to exist, money trumps everything), so in summary the impression i have is that victim mentality not only shaped the MC but also the World

I've been enjoying this story so far, but the chapter Dorm Life was annoying to read. Even though they ganged up on him, they could have fought back. Sure, they still would have been beaten, but they could have at least done some damage to the bullies. Also, Kiro is a grown adult in mind and soul, yet he's still acting petty and immature.

I rarely review works but here we go. I actually really enjoy this book. The takes the author has on this style of genre is very freeing and one I haven't seen before. But I'm also stopping reading this book for now. I really did enjoy this book but it wasn't what I was looking for at the moment. I'll probably pick it back up when it has more chapters / I'm in the mood for the author's flare on the genre. 4.6/5 Good Job Author 😊

I really liked the novel so far and tbh the only thing that irritated me was the 30 day trip after beginner Village because of that girl and her friend.

This is a great piece. The character development is great, as well as the background amongst other things. I love how the plot is developed also.
