Motherly Love

Felipe looked at Henry and didn't do anything; the child was also in shock.

"Pierre!"

A woman's scream suddenly let Felipe and Henry wake up from their shocked state.

Pah.

The door opened quickly, so a woman entered with a worried face.

"Peirre… oh Pierre… Moi… Pierre." They began to cry on the spot, not daring to get close to the dead body of her son.

"Come, come, Felipe, we have to go," Henry said, pulling Felipe by his shoulder.

"…" Felipe squinted hard and then got up and passed the door while the woman entered. She instantly fell to her knees the moment she arrived at his side.

Meanwhile, Felipe and Henry began to run for the open door, so they only needed to maneuver their bodies through it to get out.

And finally, they could see the sun's whole shine. Freedom!

Felipe was hypnotized by the sun itself. He forgot that he was still in the place where the kidnappers lived.

"Come, come," Henry said as he looked at the road marked by the constant traffic.

The house was at an elevated point where on the right side was a mountain, and on the overside was a deep green forest; it was clear that such a place was not really visited.

Felipe looked behind and saw a house. The house was in the middle of Sugar Canes growing side by side and on the back as well; it was as if it was surrounded by sugar canes.

"Run, run, run," Henry said as he approached the obvious road. Felipe wonders of the obvious, wouldn't a tool warehouse be at the back of a house? Wouldn't that mean such a road would go deeper into the sugar cane plantations?

Felipe really could not think properly and just began to run towards where Henry was.

Meanwhile, the woman cried her heart out in the cabin as she embraced her dead son, not caring that his murderers were escaping. She was mourning and trying to negotiate with god. She would give anything for her precious child to come back to life, even give up hers.

"Pierre…"

She went through the stages of grief quickly as she somewhat obtained a purpose; she got a mission, and god has given her a way out, no what she might like, but it was the best possible way.

She looked at the machete on the side and gripped it firmly even though her hands were drenched in blood.

"Mama will bring your soul peace." She said as she ignored every logical part of her brain and got up. She was determined to seek vengeance.

Opening the door, she looked towards the house and back to the back path. Due to the slope of the slight elevation, she could see how Felipe and Henry were running with everything they could.

She was not herself, looking to mend an evil with another evil as she started sprinting. Felipe was not fast; he was a 5-year-old with little energy running in a straight line. No matter how much advantage he got, he would lose against the long legs of an adult determined to get him.

Felipe looked back and saw the woman behind, running towards him with the machete in her hand, unbalancing her arm movements. That let him put more effort into moving his little legs.

It was a while before they eventually found the beginning of a sugar cane plantation. No one was working there, and the Sugar Cane was about the be ripped. Thus, it was tall and vigorous.

"Run, run, Into the canes," Felipe yelled at Pierre, who was in the front, unable to know what to do.

After hearing Felipe's instructions, Henry went with them and used his body to force his way into the deep plantation of sugar Cane.

"Felipe was just too behind; moreover, the amount of soup he had eaten not even a few hours ago made him feel a sharp pain on the right side of his stomach; he kept going despite adversity.

He felt the pressure of being under pursuit and how adrenaline quickly made all his pains disappear.

There is no point in making any stops; the first thing he did was plunder the sugar cane plantation, following Henry's path.

The woman was already behind him, and with a broad blow, she swang the machete to decapitate Felipe, a five-year-old. But Unfortunately for her, the strike was too broad. She took multiple sugar canes, destroying her momentum and finally wedging itself into a sugar cane.

Felipe began to breathe deeply as he began to go inside the sugar cane plantation.

He tried to use his tiny hands to hold on for dear life to the sugar canes. Still, there was only so much he could do before the mother grabbed his right ankle and pulled him into a scene that would make any kid have nightmares.

Felipe was not in the disposition of screaming; he was just too concentrated on the fact that he needed to leave and escape, but, even if against a woman, he was just 5 years old; he was dragged and then thrown like he was nothing.

The mother looked back and ran back to take the machete. She tried to kill Felipe, and with a firm grip, she took it out of the sugar canes and was looking to finally end the misery of the death of her child.

But as she was going towards Felipe, she felt a massive pain on her right tight, especially on the otter side. She stopped and looked down, and a flap of skin was hanging from her tight; she had cut herself as she ran with the machete. Her rage and desperation were too much, which led to her completely ignoring the sharp pain she had been feeling.

She also realized that she was losing a lot of blood as for the trail of blood she could see on her tight; the wound was deep and severe—only a person with absolutely nothing to lose would realize how fucked they had injured themselves.

"Arrrrgghhhh." She screamed, this time out of pain rather than the emotional pain of losing her child.

Meanwhile, Felipe got himself up somehow; in his pocket, a rusty nail had changed his fingertips for life, but now, it was a. He really can't wait to get alcohol in all his wounds; he really hopes a fucking infection kills him; he has yet to develop penicillin!

He never wanted to kill a kid, he also doesn't want to kill the mother, and even so, in a way, he doesn't want to kill the man… he just wanted to escape. He didn't think about the consequences of his actions, not understanding that what he was doing essentially needed the death of one of the three of them.

The mother stopped complaining as she looked at Felipe standing. Still, he didn't know that, but Felipe would have been able to leave, and she would not be able to reach him as her crazy juice had run out, the pain was too much, and she was constantly crying.

Felipe was also crying, feeling depressed and disgusted with himself; he didn't mean it to go that way. Everything was so fucked up. His manly attitude was utterly destroyed when he saw a mother cry that much for either emotional or physical tragedy.

As the mother looked at Felipe cry, she began to hallucinate as Felipe himself was converting into her son right in front of her. Her son was crying, so she forgot her pain, dropped the machete, and began embracing Felipe as if he were her own son.

Felipe seeing how she dropped the machete put his guard down. When she reached to hug him, he was too slow and was entrapped in her embrace. He was not being suffocated, but he was being tightly hugged.

It all made him even more sad. All that, all that was for freedom.

He had the long nail in his hand, but It was not poking her; it was just there as she whispered a song to calm him down.

Unnounced to him, Henry has come back and mustered all his bravery to come back and help Felipe; he didn't think much of it but just saw the machete on the ground and the woman, too distracted, pampering Felipe.

Henry took the machete, and with all his strength, he swung it. It instantly connected with her spine, making a loud thud like a machete when struck by a thick trunk.

Felipe felt the transmission of the kinetic force to him, and it felt like he was also struck by the blade as the pain made her tighten her hug on him, careful enough not to strangle him.

Felipe tried to scream, but even though he could, no sound came out of his mouth. Everything happened so fast, from the kid's death to the chase and, eventually, the sensation he was in. Nothing of such should have occurred.

"Yes, yes..." Henry was somewhat celebrating as if he had just slayed the dragon off the mountain. He didn't know that Felipe was having a mind scramble at that moment.

As her body lost all types of tension, it began to fall over him. He lost strength in his hands, dropping the rusty nail he was supposed to use as last resolve and using what little strength he had left to stumble safely to the ground as her body ended up pinning his half lower body.
