What is [Notoriety] stat?

Each country, continents, territory and any other own territory possess their own [Notoriety] counter.

Whenever you commit crime in any territory ruled by specific person or thing, you will receive [Notoriety].

Your received [Notoriety] will be divided into territory and personal.

1/3 of the received [Notoriety] points will be put into territory , that you committed the crimes against.

0.5/3 of the received [Notoriety] points will be put into country/kingdom/empire, that you committed the crimes against.

0.5/3 of the received [Notoriety] points will be put into continent, that you committed the crimes against.

1/3 of the received [Notoriety] will go to your personal score.

There are many ways to decrees or increases [Notoriety].

How to increases:

-Committing crimes.

-Committing NPC murder. – (It depends)

-Killing another players.

-And some other ways.

Each of those crimes gives different amount of points. Killing players gives least amount of points while committing crimes against NPCs gives most points.

How to decrees:

-Killing criminal player.

-Killing criminal NPCs.

-Doing special quests.

-Letting your self be arrested.

-And some other ways.

Some things may modify how points are distributed for example.

-If you are working for a country and you are fighting enemy country.

-If you work for specific organization.

-And some other ways.

Many things can influence, gain, lose and distribution of the [Notoriety] points.

[What are side effects of the [Notoriety]?]

Simple put, many things. NPCs can tell if you posses [Notoriety] and how much of it you possess. NPCs may see you as the threat or even as enemy if you have enough points.

-Your access to the settlements may end up being restrict.

-NPCs may attack you.

-You may end up being wanted person.

-And some other things.

There is also a punishment if you die based on the amount of your current [Notoriety].

-You will always lose 1 level whenever you die, however you will additional EXP based on your [Notoriety]. EXAMPLE: You lost 1 level and you have X [Notoriety], you will end up losing 10% EXP equal to the total amount of EXP lost from the level you lost.

Lost level = 10 EXP total = 1 level worth.

Additional penalty = 10%

10 + 10% = 11 EXP total = Total lost 1 level and 1 EXP.

The additional penalty may even result in player losing more that one level, meaning player with high [Notoriety] may lost for example 2 or 5 levels instead one 1.

-Increases the chance of dropping equipped item.

-Increases the amount of material type item, if they are dropped on the death.

-Increases the amount of money you drop upon death.
