CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR:WE ARE THE ONLY FAMILY WE HAVE...

" I said iam fine, I just need some rest." Granny said as I sat besides her," I just want you to know that as much as we moved here to be taken care of by you, we also moved here to take care of you..we the only family we have, so we need to look out for each other." I said as she smiled softly," Why are you smiling?" I asked," Well, you just so grown up hearing those words from you makes me feel proud and old more like you can take care of your sisters and things alone." she said bit still sounded a little like she wasn't telling me exactly what she wanted to say," Thanks for compliment." I replied," Well I'll let you rest now, the festival is in a week so you must be so busy these days." I added as I left, I looked back to her and for some reason she seemed distant into some thoughts she wasn't really telling us about, whatever it is I just hope she's alright.

" How's she?" Mina asked as we cleared the dining table," Well I still feel like something is off but she's not ready to tell me about it so let's give her time." I replied as I had my phone chime,« HOW WAS DINNER?» said a message from Min young," Awww, that's smile definitely says something, how about you go and I'll complete the rest." Mina said," You sure?" I asked," Definetly, it's not like I also have a boyfriend to chat late night with." she replied as I patted her shoulder and continued to my room,« IT WAS GOOD, I TOLD THEM AND GUESS WHAT THEY WEREN'T SURPRISED AT ALL» I said with teary eyed emojis,« NEITHER WAS MY GRANNY» he replied as I slowly sat on my bed and leaned back and waited for him to text.

Early in the morning I had to drop by the tutoring cafe to formally introduce it to Hanna, my business partner seeing that she invested in it too," And this will be where the lessons take place, this will be my office and that's all for the tour." I said over the video call," I absolutely love it, I hope it all works out." she replied cheerfully," It will, now I just have to get students...that will require me putting up flyers and asking around but it will all work out." I said with assurance," Okay then I'll let you go back to your work." Hanna said as she hang up, I looked around and I felt so proud of my self, proud of whatever this was,and I just hoped that every thing would work out from now on.

MINA'S POV

" Are you going somewhere?" Aaman asked as he finished cleaning up for the day," Well yes..home." I said as we both laughed," Remember my offer?" he asked," The one where I can listen in on your bands practice?" I played dumb," Exactly! Can that be today?" he added," Well it's not like I have anything to do at home Soo..." I said as he stopped me mid way," Good, I'll change and we'll be on our way." he replied as he took off his apron and rushed to the washrooms," Childish!" I said as I sat down to wait for him.

"Welcome to our base, well technically my base but it's what we using for practice," Aaman said as we arrived at some place it seemed like an abandoned ware house," what's this place?" I asked as I looked around," My second home." he said as I glared at him," it's where I used to play from as a kid...you know with my mom and dad always at each other's throats I used this place as my get away." he explained as I continued to look around," Where are the rest?" I asked as he stared at his wrist watch," Probably on their way...I can practice as I wait for them." he said as he picked up his guitar," Here!" he added as he handed me a microphone," Uhhmmm, if you want help with practice then I could play the guitar." I said as he smiled," I want to play as you sing, I sing all the time during practice." he said as I hesitantly grabbed the Mic," Uhhmmm what should I sing?" I asked nervously," Any thing." he said as I passed my hand through my hair and thought of a song," Let's do dusk till Dawn by Zayn Malik and Sia then." I said as he started playing...

While singing, it was so fun I didn't notice the rest of the guys walk in and sit quietly staring at us untill it ended and they were all clapping and cheering," Woah! that was epic....." Kim cheol said," Mina." I corrected him as he smiled," You not trying to replace Aaman are you?" Bora said as they all laughed," Absolutely not, iam just here to listen in." I said as I found a place to sit," Well done." Aaman whispered as I smiled softly...I could still feel my heart race from all the excitement...it just felt soo good.

On our way back,I couldn't stop smiling it's like I had dived back to the life and dream I've always wanted and it just made my heart race," Some body's happy." Aaman said as I stood Infront of him," Thank you for inviting me here." I said as he smiled softly," You can always come there any time you want..." he said as I turned around to walk Infront of him," Oh! there goes your third secret...your childhood base." I said cheerfully.." You have a way of getting me to say it all." he replied creating some sort of tension as we both stared at each other," Do I? maybe iam a witch." I said as he flicked my fore head," Are you?" he said as I wiped my forehead in pain," Did it hurt?" he asked as he came closer to check, I could feel his breath on my face as he examined my fore head, I must say I couldn't help stare at his lips," Is it painful?" he asked as he noticed I was staring at him," It's fine." I said as I pushed away fanning my self," Let's go!" I said as I walked quickly Infront of him.." calm down Kang Mina." I said to my self as I felt a sudden rush of heat filling my body.

After reaching home and taking a shower, I couldn't help recall that moment earlier," Ahhhh." I groaned as I fell to my bed and converted my head with a pillow," Hey!!" Yuri yelled," Sleep quietly and stop rotating in bed, you inconveniencing my sleep too." she said angrily," Why are you so grumpy?" I asked," iam not grumpy just tired, I offered to help granny and wow how the hell does she do all that on her own the entire day." she explained," Her own? what about her planning team mates?" I asked," They are as good as useless,all they do is sit down in meetings the rest is done by granny." Yuri added," That's not fair..." I said as I kept quiet and thought," It's a few days left so I'll balance the cafe and helping granny out, I can do that much." I suggested as Yuri gave me a thumbs up and went ahead to sleep.

HYUNA'S POV

The next days were about us helping granny out the festival all together, I worked on that and also used that time to give out flyers to the parents of students that needed tutoring not many were buying into the idea but those that signed up did and those that tore my flyers did but I wasn't going to give up, min Young helped me out a great deal too as he talked to the customers in his restaurant,as for the festival we all chipped in time and before you know it most of the things were done except," Which band, can play at the festival?" Yuri asked," Like it doesn't have to be famous just some one who can play really well." I suggested as Mina raised an idea," Aaman is in a band!" me and Yuri exclaimed," Yes and I've heard them play for a while now...they are good." Mina replied as we all took a vote," Okay..ask Aaman if he and his band could play at the festival...I'll go and show granny this program." I said as I adjourned the meeting.

MINA'S POV

" Uhhmmm great!" Aaman and the rest of the guys exclaimed," This is amazing we didn't have any gigs lately considering the fact that we live in the big city and Aaman live here for the holidays but this will work out." Gun said as I clapped cheerfully," Thanks for the gig, Mina." Bora added as I turned to look as Aaman who just smiled softly and gave me an assurance nod," Well if we going to play then we need to practice more.." Kim cheol urged as they all took their positions.

After the practice most of the guys left and it was just me and Aaman," Thanks for the opportunity by the way, back in the city every one things of our band as just some school project which it is but to us it's more serious than that." Aaman said as I helped him pack up his guitar," It's fine you guys deserve that opportunity." I said as I turned back and smiled at him," Mina!" he called out as he came and stood Infront of me," Thank you really for everything." he said as I smiled and looked away, he was too close I could stare right through his eyes," It's okay we are friends.." I replied as he smiled," Friends.." he added," Well then let we friends go and have something to eat..iam starving." he said as he picked up his guitar case," let's go." I said cheerfully as I followed behind him.
