Escape From Lucas Men

After driving for several miles from the safe house, we reached a point where we could only continue on foot. Elizabeth, who was ill, required assistance, so we took turns helping her walk.

"Please hold on, let me catch my breath," Charles said as he crouched down, placing his hands on his waist. He looked exhausted from the long walk.

"We don't have time, and we're almost twenty minutes away from the location. We can rest when we're all safe," Ethan urged Charles to keep going, but his words fell on deaf ears.

"Ethan is okay. Let's rest for a little while. We can continue in another five minutes," I replied with all seriousness.

"Everyone should keep their eyes and ears on the ground. I'll secure the area," Max said as he went back to stand guard. After the five-minute rest, we continued walking.
