Elliot opens a heavy metal door, leading inside a large fortress found in the outskirts of the city. It looks a lot like a castle, but on a smaller scale. Keiko has seen photos of the real ancient castle, and this is definitely tiny in comparison. There’s no security present here and it’s rather desolate.
“We’re nearly there, but please watch your step. There’s a lot of debris scattered around and possibly some sharp objects. No one uses this section anymore, just me and Lou occasionally.”
“Lou? Who’s that?” She asks him. She can see him avert his eyes briefly, before looking at her.
“Sorry, I’m jumping the gun a bit. Hold that question for now please. Allow me to show you this instead.” He opens a rickety door to a bookcase, it barely hanging on at the hinges. He pulls out a large, square book, several inches thick and hands it to her. “Please have a seat and look inside.”
