Keiko gasps in surprise, as she stares at the flashy ring between Nadia’s fingers. The silver band is lined with emerald gemstones around the top half of the sides, and they surround the moderately sized blue diamond that sits up top and center. “Nadia, is this what I think it is?”

“It is. This ring is a symbol of my love for you and my promise to always stay beside you. I will surround you and protect you, while allowing you to shine as you deserve. That’s what these selection of stones and their precise arrangement represent. Our everlasting bond of true love.”

“Nadia…that’s so beautiful.” Keiko’s eyes begin to tear up. “You put so much thought into this and had something so precious crafted for me…but I don’t deserve this. It’s too special for me.”

“What are you saying Keiko? Of course you deserve this. You are special. Do you doubt that?”
