Dexter felt a hand on his waist pulling him closer to the person's body. He was a tall masked man, dressed up all in black. He couldn't tell who it was because of the mask and because of the darkness.
The man was next to Dexter like he'd want to protect him, while the gun was still aimed at Alan's head. The man threw him a threatening and mad look while his finger was slowly pulling the trigger.
Alan looked a bit scared, but he was keeping his cool. He slowly got up while raising his hand giving up.
The man warned Alan: "You better back off if you don't want your brain to fly. I've warned you exactly today to leave Dexter alone! Do you want me to use actions instead of words?!"
Alan shook his head and he said that he just wanted to talk to him and that was all.
The man let out a short "Mhm" and then he let his gun down. "It's the last time when I let you live..." he spoke with a creepy voice and approached Alan. He grabbed him by his collar and he leaned to his face.
"If I ever see you around Dexter ever again I'll pick the first thing that comes to my hand and I'll kill you. Understood?" he asked with a cold voice.
Alan rapidly nodded and then he was let go by the man. He immediately rushed onto the street and in seconds no one could see him.
Dexter still tried to figure out who the man was, even though his voice gave him some ideas. He had a hunch it might be Lynn, and just thinking about it made the nerves start to set in.
The man turned to Dexter and scanned him from head to toe. It was clear to him that he cried and that he gave some signals that he was a bit frustrated.
He gazed into the man's eyes and his heartbeat started to race. He remembered that he saw those grey eyes in only one person he met with that shade of beautiful grey and with such a glowing nature.
"Why did you do that?" Dexter asked with his head on the ground.
"Do what?"
"You saved me. Why did you do that? You're throwing me like the last piece of shit into someone's filthy hands without even worrying about me, and then you come to save me. It just doesn't make sense... Lynn."
Dexter felt like his mind was going to blow and his heart was almost out of his chest as how hard it was beating.
He looked up at the man's face and he was sure it was who he thought it was. He wanted to make a step back but he gently caught him by his shirt's sleeve and pulled him back.
"Are you mad? You look kind of pissed off." he noticed and then he took off his mask.
Dexter clenched his teeth and he threw Lynn a dead look, full of hatred and madness. He didn't want to answer at all because he didn't feel like doing it. He was mad at him that he couldn't even look into his eyes.
Lynn realized the state Dexter had and pulled him closer to him, putting his hand on his waist and looking him intensely in the eyes. He seemed worried for him.
"What happened to you? Did he touch you? Or did he tell you something that upset you?" he asked and he seemed sincerely worried.
"Why are you trying to look like you'd care?!" he suddenly screamed with a cold tone.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?! What's up with you all of a sudden?!" Lynn answered, becoming even angrier.
His eyes were going through Dexter's soul, while he tried to seem as mad as Lynn was, but Lynn's gaze calmed him down. He glared at him with those cold, heartless, and glowing eyes. He was holding Dexter's hand so tight that it got all red.
"Let's go. You're coming with me." Lynn told him all of a sudden while dragging Dexter after him.
Dexter wanted to comment and tried to escape, but his hand was too strong. Lynn immediately got out his phone and dialed his bodyguard's number. Dexter listened to their conversation while following Lynn. He didn't oppose his power, he just did what he wanted, which made him look weak in front of them.
"Hello? Paul? Come here... at the restaurant which is close to Dexter's workplace. You drive past the café, turn right, then go ahead and turn left. It's the restaurant from the corner. Come here as fast as you can." Lynn commended his bodyguard.
"Yes, sir. Understood. I'll be there in 5." his bodyguard answered.
Lynn hung up the phone and looked back at Dexter who obeyed his moves. He looked indifferently at him while saying: "We'll go back to the restaurant. When we get home I want you to tell me what the fuck is wrong with you. Understood?"
Dexter bit his lip and nodded. He followed Lynn until they reached the restaurant again. His cold look sends shivers down Dexter's spine. He was scared of what Lynn could do to him, but he was also mad at him for what he did.
Dexter couldn't understand... he looked at him and saw him in every way with all the expressions, but he never saw true happiness on his face. It's weird for him how Lynn can care deeply for him in a moment, but the next moment that feeling disappears. That man was a trues carrousel of feelings.
Not even 5 minutes, Lynn's bodyguard, Paul, parked in front of them. Lynn threw Dexter in the backseat and told his bodyguard to give him some rope.
"R-rope?... For what do you need rope?... I won't run." Dexter tried to convince him.
Lynn took the rope and tried to tie Dexter's wrists and feet. "Who knows? I'm tying you just in case. I don't know if you lie or not, so I should be careful." he answered with an evil smile, exactly like his boss.
Dexter nodded and then he sat down in the corner of the seat and didn't get out a word until Lynn's bodyguard didn't reach the house.
Lynn sometimes turned around and checked on Dexter, but he always saw that scared face, also worried about what'll happen.
He decided to calm Dexter down and he spoke all of a sudden: "I won't do anything bad to you. If you answer my questions then you'll be just fine."
Dexter didn't answer him, he just glared outside the window at the road and the eventual cars which passed by them, wondering when will he escaped from those two, Lynn and Louis.
The field of flowers Dexter saw many times was next to Lynn's house, and it was even more beautiful in daytime.
Almost the middle of the night and he was on the road, going nowhere else than to hell. It was such a horrible night for Dexter.
