Lynn looked back at Dexter while raising his eyebrow: "What? What's wrong?" he asked a bit worried by Dexter's sudden move.
Dexter blushed a bit more as he still refused to raise his head from the ground.
"Can you... Maybe... Can you stay over at my place?... Tonight?..." Dexter asked a bit embarrassed about what he just asked.
Lynn's eyes widened and he stood speechless for some seconds before answering: "Why would I stay over?"
"Uh... You don't have to stay if you don't want to... I-I just said..." Dexter spoke a bit disappointed.
Lynn sighed heavily and turned to face Dexter: "What's the clock?"
"Um... It's 9... Why?"
He sighed again and he felt a bit guilty. He finally answered Dexter's previous question: "All right... I'll stay here for tonight... I'm doing an exception for you."
Dexter smiled happy and excited and welcomed him into his apartment. He closed the door and he noticed Lynn scanning his little house with a serious expression and cold eyes. He mumbled: "Mhm... Not bad."
"What? What do you mean by that?" Dexter asked confused.
"I said that it's not bad... Small but it's more than perfect for you. It suits you."
"Yeah... I didn't saw this house that much since I met you. You're usually taking me and driving me to your house which is absolutely outside the city." Dexter spoke, almost sounding like he was complaining.
"And? Is that a problem? I'm taking you because you're in my eyesight and my job, so I need to take care of you."
"Take care of me? Why's that? I can take care of myself if you didn't know that information." Dexter crossed his arms to his chest.
"All right, let it be how you say, Dexy. But I'll still take you with me at my house and I don't care if you either like it or not."
Lynn started walking into the other rooms and Dexter let him inspect his house. He seemed pretty amazed by the apartment which looked very good, despite the outside part of the block which is old and the plaster is falling off the walls.
Lynn walked around, made some circles, looked carefully at every object or thing he could find in Dexter's house, and then he went to the kitchen where Dexter was waiting for him to finish.
"Do you want to eat something?" Dexter asked and went to the fridge.
"No. Don't bother with the food. I'll sleep here and I'll leave early in the morning. I have some work to do and I need to finish it soon."
Dexter again looked a bit disappointed. "Ok... Do however you like. I held you back from your work anyways."
Lynn raised an eyebrow and came closer to Dexter with his hands on his back. He leaned down to his ear and whispered: "Are you upset that we can't fuck?"
Dexter blushed slightly and a bit of anger was in his voice: "N-no! It's not that!... I..."
Lynn pulled back to take a look at Dexter's face which was all red like hell and all embarrassed. He haven't seen Dexter so embarrassed since they first met.
"Then? What is it if it's not that? You're upset. Something upset you. And I want to know who or what did that."
"It's nothing! Let's just go to bed. I'm tired... Please."
Lynn raised his hand in the air as he surrendered "It's your house, your choice. Don't ask me. I'll do whatever you ask me to do. It's your house, I'm under your rules."
Dexter looked at the ground, blushing more: "You know... This house is yours too..."
Lynn was a bit surprised. "Mine? How so?"
"Well, since we're doing what we do and our relationship is how it is... I considered your house mine and my house yours."
Lynn started laughing and his laugh was so colorful and beautiful for Dexter's ears since he rarely heard Lynn laughing so brightly.
"Let's not talk about that now... It's kind of weird. Let's go to sleep."
Lynn agreed and they both went to Dexter's room. Lynn was all smirking when the idea of sleeping again in the same bed as Dexter came into his mind. He was satisfied by the idea because he could do anything he wanted to Dexter of how close they were there.
Lynn leaned down on the bed and Dexter joined him. For some minutes, while the silence was getting deeper, they just stood and looked at the roof, not talking or closing their eyes.
Dexter harshly broke the silence: "Can I hug you? Or... Can we cuddle?"
Lynn's eyes widened at Dexter's words. "Ah... I guess it's ok. But don't exaggerate." he answered with a cold expression and voice. Inside him, he wanted that, but the outside wanted to seem cold and serious like he always was.
Dexter dragged himself closer to Lynn and wrapped his arm around his waist. Lynn turned to Dexter, being face to face now. He slowly placed his hand on Dexter's waist too as he came even closer to his face, their lips almost forming a kiss.
Dexter closed his eyes, but he felt no touch on his lips. He opened them and saw Lynn waiting, looking lost at Dexter.
"What are you doing?" Dexter asked curiously.
"Looking at you. Obviously."
"Ah... A-alright" he said while blushing a bit. "K-keep doing it..."
Lynn smirked and then he pressed his lips against Dexter's with so much hunger and force, like he couldn't hold back.
No one had any idea how Lynn felt when it came to Dexter, not even him. If anyone who's an expert in this kind of thing, then he would probably say that Lynn... Lynn had simply fallen in love... With no one else than Dexter himself.
