Are you going to sing for me?

The hours passed, the customers came, the two were walking around, hurried to take and deliver people's orders and the atmosphere was pretty good.

When the time had come, the end of Connor and Dexter's shift, Dexter was leaning against the counter as Connor was almost done cleaning everything.

He sighed and looked at the roof. "Phew, we're finally done. This day was full and also the cafe."

Connor looked at him and smiled. "Yeah, the cafe was pretty crowded for such a day. Maybe people just wanted to chill out a bit."

"Chill out in the middle of the week?" Dexter scoffed. "Bullshit."

Connor rolled his eyes at Dexter's comment. "I just said."

After Connor was done, they wanted to go and change, but Connor spotted someone outside the cafe, just lighting up a cigarette. He elbowed Dexter in the arm.

"Hey, isn't that your boyfriend?" he giggled and pointed to the man outside.

Dexter turned his head and recognized Lynn after his long hair and after his usual clothes. A smile spread on his face.

"Don't tell me you actually like him now." he smirked as he walked to the other side of the counter.

"I... Come on, Dexy! I finally have a reason to tease you all day! Let me be happy about it!" Connor talked like he was a child.

He rolled his eyes and smiled. "So you still hate him?" he wondered.

"I... I think so... I haven't met the guy yet." Connor shrugged and Dexter couldn't help but chuckle. "I'm just glad that you're happy." he smiled.

Dexter smiled back and then looked outside the cafe. "Be right back." he raised his finger and then rushed outside.

He walked outside the cafe and saw Lynn smoking his cigarette in peace. He was kind of surprised to see Dexter.

"What are you doing here?" Dexter wondered.

Lynn shrugged. "Maybe I came to take you?" he pretended like he had no idea why he was there.

"We still have some minutes left. Why did you come so early?" he tilted his head.

Lynn took a smoke from his cigarette and turned his head to exhale it. His eyes then fell on Dexter's and looked at them with desire. His eyes then went to his lips, then back to his eyes.

"I thought I will smoke a cigarette while I wait for my amazing boyfriend to come." he smiled.

Dexter blushed when Lynn made him 'his amazing boyfriend' but then he cleared his throat. He was still blushing. "All right, I'll come back in some minutes." he wanted to go back into the cafe, but then he turned around again. "Oh, and I got some ideas for this night." he smiled.

Lynn smirked. "What ideas?" he asked in a playful tone.

Dexter immediately knew what Lynn was thinking. "Not those kind of ideas. You'll see." he smirked and then left Lynn alone outside.

After some minutes, Dexter came back while he was waving to Connor. He went in front of Lynn and saw him still smoking his cigarette. Was it the same one? Again, Lynn's eyes fell on Dexter's and then on his lips.

"Ready to go?" Dexter asked, very enthusiastically.

Lynn smirked, but then the smirk turned into a lovely smile. "After you."

Dexter didn't walk yet, he was thinking where to go. "I don't know where to go." he looked at Lynn and tried to hold back his laugh.

Lynn looked at him and then both burst out laughing. "Hm, how come you come on a date and you don't know where to go?" he chuckled.

"This is hilarious." Dexter laughed. "How come you invite me and don't know where to go, hm?" he put his hands on his hips as he smirked.

"I'm always ready, Dexy. With a step ahead. I know where I want to go, but I wanted to leave you to choose the place." he smirked back.

Dexter was silent. He thought he finally got Lynn but he was always in front of him. Dexter sighed. "Okay. Where to, boss?"

Before Lynn could say something, the door of the cafe opened and Connor stepped out. He smiled at Dexter but his smile faded at Lynn. "Hey, I thought you left."

"Not yet. We're trying to decide where to go." he smiled.

Lynn noticed the glare Connor threw him and decided to piss him off more. He looked at Dexter and then smirked. He took his hand out of his pocket, put it around Dexter's waist, and pulled him closer. His smirk was still on his face.

"Actually, Dexy and I were just leaving." he tried to show Connor a polite smile.

Dexter was taken aback by Lynn's move, but it didn't bother him. Yet, it did bother Connor a bit. He glared at Lynn's hand and then at him, but then he rolled his eyes and sighed while looking away.

"Anyway, I need to leave. See you tomorrow, Dexter!" he waved and turned around to leave.

Dexter waved back and so did Lynn with a sweet smile. "Bye, Connor! See ya tomorrow!" Lynn said with the voice of a girl.

Dexter laughed. "What was that?" he felt Lynn's hand moving away from his waist.

Lynn shrugged. "What? He and I are friends now, no? Or are we not?"

Dexter smiled. "I think he kindly hates you. I don't know either."

"Hates me? But why? I'm a nice guy..." he said, wanting to seem sad.

"Drop the act, Lynn. Are you drunk? Because you're not usually like that." Dexter raised his eyebrow.

Lynn shrugged. "What? Can't I act a bit differently? And if I do that means I'm drunk? Anyways, have you got any idea where are we going?" Lynn wondered.

"Me?!" he pointed at himself. "No."

Lynn sighed. "I guess I'm in charge." he stopped and then smirked. "What if... we went to a concert this night?" he smiled and tilted his head.

Dexter's face brightened in seconds. "Really?! Who sings?!"

Lynn smirked. "Well, many artists... very known artists... and an artist that's not known but is willing to sing up there." he smiled but Dexter didn't get it.

Dexter looked at Lynn confused. He didn't understand why was Lynn so proud of himself. After some seconds of silence, Lynn broke it. "Hello, that not-very-known artist is right in front of you, Dexy." he smiled again.

Dexter's smile faded in pure shock. "To die if I believe you. You?! Singing?! You need to come up with another joke because that's not a good one."

"Is it that hard to believe?" he raised his eyebrow.

"Yes... You?... Lynn Alford, my boyfriend... singing?!" his jaw dropped.

"Yeah." he smiled again. "So, shall we go?"

"Are you going to sing... for me?" Dexter asked, still shocked.

"For who else, my love? For you and only you. Now, let's go."

Dexter blushed at what name Lynn used to call him, but he followed him to the car and got up in silence, still not believing that he was going to sing right in front of so many people.
