Fynn

After Beare left with an injured Kayden and the newbies, I stayed behind with Venessa, Travis, and Issac to shoot the video of me telling the world about us. This was supposed to be my sister, but her men refused to let her do it while she was pregnant, which is understandable.

"I really hope this helps," says Travis as he prepares a smartphone we bought from a Walmart close by; after setting it up, we used it to record the compound; now, I just needed to post a live video on YouTube.

"Alright, Fynn, we will be live in 3, 2, 1, and we are live!" Travis hit the record button.

"Hello world, my name is Fynn, and I am here to talk to you about something your government is doing to people behind your backs. Behind me is the compound; it is a secret lab that evil people are using to experiment on anyone, from soldiers wounded in combat that you believe has been dead to orphans that you believe have been adopted out to loving families and many others. I was an orphan who was adopted, at first I thought I lucked out and found a great home until one day, the man who was supposed to be my dad brought me to a secret lab where he experimented on me and turned me into an animal that they plan to use a weapon. None of you will believe us without proof, so I will show you a proof."

I shifted into my Werejaguar and stretched out my ink-black wings with a roar.

When I shifted back, I held my arms open and said, "You see what they have done to us! This needs to stop! We didn't deserve to be experimented on like this and turned into animals! You may think it's cool now, but imagine what it would feel like to break every bone in your body, then live through the agony as they reshaped into something else! It's the most painful thing I have ever been through, but I'm not the only one; the youngest we have found who has been through the change is only three years old! We found him locked up in a dog crate like an animal! We need your help to stop this madness; help us defeat these basterds once and for all!"

I nodded at Travis to end the video, then we all gathered around the phone as people started watching the video.

"You did great," says Venessa as we made our way to the van.

"I just hope it was the right thing to do," I said, "This could help, or it could backfire."

When we pulled into the driveway six and a half hours later, we were greeted by my sister and the others; I smiled at the sight of my sister and rushed to the side as soon as the van stopped.

"I did it, Farry!" I said as I wrapped my arms around her waist and spun around.

"Fynn, stop!" Yells Charlie as he grabs for Farah, whose face looks very green.

"Ugh, I'm gonna hurl," she groans as Charlie glares at me.

"Sorry, Farah, I forgot that you were pregnant."

The fox man with a baby face named Jordan walked out holding hands with the enormous polar bear guy. I don't know how Farah did it with all those men, but they all seemed devoted to her; I guess that's all that mattered in the end.

"Did you make sure to get rid of the cell phone?" asked Jordan.

"Umm, no…." I replied, "Was I supposed to?"

"Yes, you dumbass! The government can use the phone to track where we are!" Jordan yelled as his face turned blood red with rage, as he grabbed my phone and tossed it into the nasty water at the bottom of a fountain, "Let's hope that you didn't just kill us all."

"Jordan, cut him some slack; he didn't know the phone could be traced," explained Farah as she came to my rescue, "I didn't even know they could be traced."

Jordan sighed when Farah gave him her big puppy dog eyes, "Don't look at me like that!" he grumbled as he playfully shoved his hand in her face making her giggle.

I shook my head at the two of them, then spotted the big snake guy from the compound leaning against the porch as he watched Farah with a grin… I thought he was blind? I just shrugged, then approached the house for a much-needed shower and something to eat.

Once I was cleaned up and fed, I went to the war room to find everyone standing around Jordan as they watched the video I posted online.

"Anything good so far?" I asked as I walked over.

Farah, who had been sitting on Jordan's lap, looked up at me and then said, "There are some good, some bad, and others who believe it's all just trickery."

"I worry that this is all gonna come back and bite us all in the ass," says snake guy, "Ya might have just served us to the government on a silver platter."

Farah looked from me snake guy to me with a frown but didn't say anything as she returned her attention to the computer.

I could feel the weight of the snake guy's words on my shoulders, and for a moment, doubt crept in. What if he was right? Had I just put everyone in danger?

But then, I remembered why I did it in the first place. The government needed to be held accountable for their actions, and the public needed to be aware of the atrocities that were being committed at the compound. We couldn't just sit back and do nothing while innocent people were being experimented on and turned into weapons.

"We knew the risks when we decided to do this," I said, my voice firm, "But it was worth it. We need to keep fighting until we put an end to this."

Farah nodded at me with a small smile, and I felt a surge of pride. She may have been pregnant, but she was still just as fierce and determined as ever.

"I agree," said Venessa, "We can't let fear hold us back. We need to keep pushing forward.
