The Ordeal Of Love

Lyon stood on the roof of an abandoned castle, scouting from high ground.

Even with his supervision, there had been no sign of Magnus and his crew anywhere.

He placed two fingers on his ear and started speaking. "Anne, have you spotted anything yet?" A popping sound transmitted through before she answered back.

"Nuh uh~" She drew out. She was sitting in a casino gambling her way through her salary, a large eyeball floated above her head.

She pulled the handle down and waited for her jackpot.

Three sevens appeared and a flood of gold coins came out. Lyon disconnected as soon as she started screaming.

The blonde jumped off the roof and landed in the middle of a random street, surprising the children who were playing. He continued walking, looking through the windows of each establishment.

Their intel had told them that the summoned human was here, so why couldn't they see him? Lyon continued on his hunt as Havanna hovered above him. Her eyes glowed as she scanned every nook and cranny.

Anne had finally joined them, flipping backwards from the roof and landing next to Lyon. "Can't we continue searching tomorrow? It's nighttime and I wanna sleep~?" She whined, her blue eyes staring up and close at Lyon's gold ones.

The male stepped back, a light dust of pink coating his cheeks. Havanna smiled to herself before continuing to fly away. The busters kept walking, Lyon groaning at the prostitutes calling for him.

Anne was laughing her ass off, patting the back of her captain, only causing the blush to deepen. They stopped in front of a love hotel named the 'Ordeal Of Love'. It had to be some kind of sick joke until he read the town sign. "Love Lane Land." He groaned. "This is great. I wanna stay here." Anne howled, her eyes tearing up.

Lyon glared at her, causing her to choke on her tears. Havanna silently laughed before landing on the ground. "Lover boy here is in luck." She whispered to practically no one, but Lyon could still hear and sent a glare her way. "I suppose our sleeping arrangements can't be fixed for now. We'll have to settle for this." Through gritted teeth, he spoke. Anne calmed down and nodded.

"I guess we do." They walked up to the front desk and requested a room for the three of them.

The reaction of the staff working there upon hearing the request, was a good enough reason for Lyon to wipe the existence of Sakurasou Island off the map.

He unsheathed his sword, Havana quickly wrapping him up in a bunch of ribbons to stop his irrational behaviour. Anne paid, took the keys, and led the two behind her to the room. "Let's quickly get some rest, then pick up where we left off tomorrow." Havanna instructed in Lyon's stead.
