It All Ends

Amane continued their struggle with the dragon. The sword penetrates the scales deeper and deeper. However, it was not enough. The sword was not going to behead the dragon any time soon.

'I'm going to increase the level of power thrill mode has. This might put you out of commission for at least a day or two after the fight, so are you read?' Cosmos spoke in the boy's head.

'Ready than I'll ever be.' Just as he said those words, a painful shock wave went down his spine as a blue lightning insignia lit up on the ground. His crew plus the Kajiyashiki's watched in surprise as Magnus leaped so far into the sky, he passed the clouds.

The same insignia on the ground now appeared in the sky, large enough to cover the whole mountain area.

Lightning strikes filled up the air. Magnus' eyes were glowing white, with white mist covering his fists.

"Lightning fists!" He yelled out. A group of lightning fists came from the sky and on to the dragon, holding the creature down with force, as it wailed. The dragon continued to thrash around, roaring and allowing flames to be released from its mouth.

The crew and the others decided to find cover, until the whole ordeal was over. Magnus lifted his right arm up and positioned it like he was going to throw a spear. Amane held onto the sword that was stuck in the dragon, making sure the attacks didn't hit them.

"Zeus' Bolt." Lightning gathered in his palm and he threw it down on the dragon. It went through the beast, forming a crater around the animal as it did. Thali watched her captain in shock but was immediately alarmed when her captain was falling from the sky.

She immediately lit up her feet in flames and flew towards. She grabbed the boy and gently landed on the ground, placing him down.

Magnus sighed, turning around to lay on his back. His eyes connected with the dragon's as its life drained from its body. He felt bad but he had stopped a rather large problem over all.

Amane who somehow managed to cover from all the attacks from Magnus, drew the sword from the beast's head, and hopped off, wobbling as they did so. They glared at Magnus before walking up to Naoto.

"Well, I guess it's all over now. No more threats right?" Elvia questioned.

She looked a hot mess and her crew could tell she wasn't going to hold up much longer. Mortale was done healing thanks to her, and the siblings had finally finished patching up the troublesome duo.

"What's next then, Captain?" Magnus could barely answer Koko. His energy was completely sucked out of his body.

"We eat, drink, celebrate, then leave." He answered. His crew all hummed in agreement. All that was left was for the Kajiyashiki to fix their own political mess, and the Juggernauts did not want to stick around that long for that.

-------------

Magnus demolished the last six bowls of gyozas in record timing. He downed the sake given to him, his body resistant to the alcohol. Cosmos was right. He had been out of commission for two days.

Sleeping through most of the celebrations.

Koko and Thali were finished packing the last round of gifts given to them by the Kajiyashikis and the rest of the islanders.

The naming of the next Shogun was a long ways away, and with still no sign of the island's actual dragon, Ryusuke, they had simply presumed the worst.

The burial of the Torakichi was met with no one attending his funeral, and celebrating his demise.

Amane, who was the new addition to the crew, had run of to the ship to give themselves a tour. Stephan and Elvia volunteered to help with that.

"So where are we off to next?" Magnus asked. Mortale slapped him gently at the back of the head.

"Swallow before you start speaking." He reprimanded, earning a finger from Magnus.

"We need to head to Maya, see what's up with Elvia." He continued. Magnus looked confused.

"The country of Maya is where Elvia originates from. It's the land of the fairies." Magnus' eyes widened.

"That's cool." Koko made a noise of agreement.

Just as he was about to celebrate they new adventure sitting on the horizon, Cosmos words echoed in his head.

"Locrome needs you."

He needed to know why. There's also the fact that one of the four lords were after him, and as long as he remained in the territory, who knew when the next attack would be.
