CHAPTER – 8 POST EXCURSION COMPLICATIONS

I was too tired from playing the whole day.

So, I went home as usual.

I could only see my mom waiting for me with food.

I took bath and came outside my room to have food , i was then scrolling my phone for a while and then again started falling asleep with phone in one hand watching reels.

Same morning routine was going on again.

Mom waking me up in the morning, and me rushing to the school and getting screwed by the PT teacher .

*It was a endless cycle going on in repeat mode*

I was 2 min late for school, the school starts at 8.15 and I was there by 8.17am.

Right when i was about to get inside, i was caught by the PT teacher.

PT teacher told me to stand outside the school, till the prayer gets over ,and since I didn't have another option, I had to wait outside and ran later for my first class.

Thankfully i was excused inside the class by the teacher incharge.

I went and sat near lucky

Today is the first time we are wearing uniform.

For our school primary, secondary and higher secondary had 3 different uniforms.

Same normal school routine was going on and that's when I found myself become more silent than normal.

*thanks to someone* *sarcastically rolling my eyes on my own*

ringggggggg...... the bell rang and it was time for the next class to start.

When we went for French lecture, pavi was asking me about the sudden change in her dads character to me.

I told her I got no idea and narrate her how I met him.

To my surprise she was listening to it carefully without getting distracted.

Rathika who usually sits along with us, was now ignoring us

*oh... should i say it as me*

and was acting weird by speaking with other, which annoyed me .

Once the class got over I went to her and asked

jae - "hey rathika what's your problem man, why giving me the shoulders" for which she told

rathika - "nothing like that"

jae - "why you are ignoring me"

rathika - "did you ask something to me for which I didn't answer ?"

i nodded a no

jae - "but" "why didn't speak to me all the way we travelled back" I asked her

rathika - " why didn't you talk to me then" she asked me back

jae - "I didn't have anything to say" I said . for which she replied

rathika - "see you don't even have anything to talk to me about"

i become silent and told her this

jae - "see lets leave everything and start being normal?" "mmmm?"for which she nodded back to me and went back to our class.

Days went by and after few days, as we are in the same class me, lucky and rathika started becoming close to one another.

I stopped going out during my time off which i used to for the past few days . There were a lot more changes that happened. very minute thing that are not worth talking about, but which made a lot of difference.

We had food together, we return home together, slowly we started chatting all day with one another.

As days goes on, I started to walk rathika home which is 15min away from school, whereas my home is just 15 steps away from school.

*my dad will screw me. If he knows that i was walk someone home, which is in the opposite direction from my house!!!!!* *he will literally kill me with his bare hands *

I started to get distant from harini in the mean time. *which was unfortunate!!!*

We stayed together during all classes, and We were connected through hike (an messaging app during our period ) in the evening, I had to install that app just for them. *to be precise for rathika *

Typically we were in contact the whole day except the time I was sleeping,

During those period mobile phone is not as readily available as now, so she used to use her moms mobile phone.

They had this system in her house that from a particular time its her time and after that her brother will take it from her to play!!.

One fine day when we were seated in our regular seat, and lucky was playing with me and rathika went to fill water.

( we switched seats with others and were seated in the middle of the class in a three seater)

I hate it went someone puts hand on my shoulder since am not tall (its a myth that because of the force from the other persons hand, we will start becoming short / not grow taller ) , and this lucky female is taller than me and always tease me by putting her hand on my shoulder. And we were pulling each other and playing that's when rathika came with the water bottle in her hand. *obviously she will have water bottle dude since she went to fetch water*

Lucky took the bottle from rathika's hand and drank

In the half way I tried to pull it from her , and she spit all the water on rathika face from her mouth, and that's when this happened.. .
