CHAPTER – 23 BOTANY ASSIGNMENT

JAE – POV

Once she went inside

I just took a u-turn infront of her home and walked back home, I had to walk all the way back crossing school to reach my home (though its normal).

Even when I was walking my way back, I saw those stray boys standing and looking at me (I dare them to come and talk to me :< )

Mostly this kind of scene is very common, when they like a girl, they will try to find about her through someone she is familiar with that way , they think that I will make her notice them(by telling something good about him)

*in his dreams*( i told myself )

(but little did they know that, I would be the first person to appose her and let her not turn her head their way.)

School was going as normal as ever and that's when suddenly hari come and spoke to me !!!

Hari – " jae, I have something to talk to you !!"

Jae – " got a little work man" ( I had my botany assignment to be completed otherwise my biology teacher will screw us) *that bitch*

"how about later?"

Hari – "just keep in mind that, I got something to talk to you about !!"

Jae – "yeah man no issues"

I went inside the class room and there I saw lucky copying rathika's note

As soon as I went near rathika , lucky who didn't finish her assignment returned the note to rathika

Lucky – "here you go !"

Rathika – "you have 3 more pages to complete man!"

Lucky – "nope I completed not an issue !"

(I myself saw that she have more than half the assignment to be completed, but since she knew that I will get the note from her , anyways she returned the note)

Rathika – " have this" she gave me the note

As soon as I got her note, I went to my desk and started copying the notes as fast as possible. (i cant take risk with my biology assignment )

Lucky –POV

Yesterday , I completely forgot to write the assignment and only when small lucky told me that we had to submit it today , it slipped my mind that I didn't even start writing the assignment.

So I found myself a new note book and started writing the assignment copying the text from rathika's notebook.

It was nearly 10 min later

Jae entered the class. One thing I know for sure is that he wouldn't have completed his assignment and pakka he will get rathika's assignment. (because she is his only friend)

For a fraction of second I wanted to be selfish and tell,* even rathika is my friend *, and *I am the first person to borrow the note from her* .

But the fact is that if rathika didn't give her assignment to jae, then with his ego , he won't ask anyone for assignment note to copy from and end up standing outside .( as i already said, she is his only friend in our class)

So the only option that I had in my hand is to lend rathika's book to her ,but I didn't want to accept the defeat. So I told that I completed the assignment and returned the note to her. ( yes, i lied)

Rathika POV-

Within a minute I though lucky and jae is gonna have a big fight over my notebook , but somehow lucky compromised and gave the note to jae, that way atleast he finished his assignment.

Jae Is always fast at writing . its one of his best skill after all ;)

Jae POV-

Since I got the assignment I started writing as fast as possible, because biology class is in the 3rd hour today and I have only physics and French hour in between to finish my assignment .

I wrote as fast as possible . my physics maam came and the class got over just like that , so i took the note to French class and wrote it with full focus.

I didn't want to get caught. Though everyone around me was looking at me ,because I was so focused in my job.( which i normally won't do )

Once I was finished with my assignment, I gave the note back to rathika and I started writing my French class work and I heard lucky telling rathika

Lucky – " if I knew he will finish this fast, I would have brought the note with me " ( which she whispered to her that i could hear)

Rathika – " I told you to complete" "you told me that you completed, which was a obvious lie" " i can't do anything now "

I saw lucky turning back to me , while I was pretending not to look at her.(as if i didn't hear her)

But I could hear her whisper since I was right next to rathika

Lucky – " if I didn't give him the note then, he wouldn't have completed his homework and get screwed by l***a maam" "that's why I told I completed and returned the note" (she told in an almost invisible tone )

Small lucky - " hey lucky" " hear is your assignment note. I competed the diagram just 2 para you have to fill inbetween"

Rathika – "why do you have lucky's note ?" "just a minute ago she told that she didn't bring her note to the class"

Small lucky – " this lucky idiot left her note with me and came for French class, and since evan is absent I was bored and drew the diagram for her"

Lucky went and hugged small lucky and tried to kiss her . (for a second my eyes widened) but small lucky reacted fast and put her hand on tall lucky's face and told

Small lucky- " yeah yeah" "enough with your thanking process , so show me your answer sheet in exam "

Tall lucky – "I show you my paper all the time , what can I do that your not able to see that ?" (she told with a with a evil smile)

Small lucky – " that's because you have grown, soooo tall like a banyan tree " (she told while tapping tall lucky's head)

Tall lucky – " now that you are speaking nonsense, I want to take away the thanks that I told you just now" she told in a angry tone.(with her hands folded)

Rathika – " hey both of you stop fighting " she told in her gentle but authorizing voice and turned to tall lucky and said " you start writing or else you will be the one who will be screwed !" she instructed tall lucky.

So after that they stopped their fight and she started writing her assignment

Very soon the class got over and we were going to our respective class for attending biology lectures.

As I entered the class , I went to harshiya (my benchmate) and sat.
