Body strengthening
Author note : I have changed sergeant Pain name to sergeant Rage and I have also altered my chapters slightly plus I have fixed the other chapters thanks for reading.
The technicians was happy to teach me and I was happy to assist with any work I was working on a plasma mock 2 machine gun this type is gun was pretty common amongst the light mecha pilots it could shoot 100 shots easily and was easy to recharge but it had a problem of overheating the technician that was showing me this smiled when he saw the shine in my eyes go on kid I want to see what you got so I know what level of education you're at I smiled and happily walked over it I scanned it with my innate ability when was done I knew what was wrong with it the gem that reflected and focused the plasma beams inside of it was cracked a cracked gem means that the gem ant reflecting and focusing the plasma right so when it discharged the shot wouldn't be as powerful I knew the fastest way to get to the gem with the less hassle and so I got to work the technician already had tools and everything I needed so I quickly took apart half of the weapon I separated the barrel making sure to disconnect any wites or seals that would stop me when I got the barrel all the way off you could see the clear smokey gem in the middle of what would be the chamber the gem was held by a clay that had many wires and battery packs on it but this gem was cracked and half of it was burned black I pulled out a screwdriver and loosened the claws around the gem and with two hands I pulled the gem off the circle pedicle it was resting on the size of this gem 7 inches across and 15 inches down the technician helped me get the black gem out we carried it over to a res bean that had many other broken gems in it we throw it on top my technician lead me over to another bean which was green in color and in this bean had many fresh gems in it we picked on up and walked back to our work area he helded me put the gem back unto the pedicle he held it wall I tightened the views again after that I connected everything together making sure the seals was probably sealed and the wires got connected when I was done my technician who was holding a tablet in his hands he tapped a few bottoms on the tablet and the gun started glow red he turned over to me smiling you pass kid well done I don't get any more work for you but ask around there is plenty of work and technicians who would appreciate the help I nodded saying ok thank you and I walked off and that's what I did for hours I walked around helping other technicians and in return they educated me on thing that only a technician who has worked year's in this field would know I only fixed whatever they asked nothing more at one point I took chances cuz I got too curious so I used my innate ability to work out many small bugs in the programming in the weapon I was fixing which was another mock 2 plasma machine gun but this gun had the hole barrel melted we simple replaced it my system should me many upgrades I could do to this weapon I have been getting these blueprints sense I started working in the shop and I was dying to try it out so I want with something small this gun had a small problem in the programming where I changed slower then the rest of the rifles not by much but it was still a problem so I improved the programming to charge faster but I also enhanced the a small kink in the heat dispersion in the rifle all these problems were small and many pilots couldn't even feel the problems but there was many more who had just excepted that there was nothing they could do about it and excepted the small problems the technician I was helping she tapped her tablet activating the gun she looked over the guns diagnostics and she was shocked she turned to me asking more impressed than angry how and what did you do to get rid of the kinks in the programming I simple shrugged saying my innate ability is hacking-related when was repairing it I fixed those problems she was dumbfounded y didn't you do it to any if the other stuff you worked on before she asked a little exasperated I smiled saying I didn't know if I was allowed or not besides even if I did say something would anyone believe a new cadet would be able to fix problems in the programming of weapons the woman laughed saying kid we are technicians if it affects our job in a good way then we would happily believe you after you prove it to us here we don't do what-ifs we like cold hard facts you understand right I nodded I glanced over to my watch it as about lunchtime so I said goodbye to the woman she nodded smiling I started walking to the door when someone walk out from one of the work areas and walked next to me it was Helge I glanced over to her she was smiling happily I decided to read her mind she was thinking about a memory from her old life she was a child standing in front of a forge watching her grandfather craft a sword it was a fond memory of hers but unlike Helge, I don't remember much of my past life I really only remember my childhood but even some of those memories are blurry we walked out of the garage the wind whipped against faces as soon as we walked outside and the snow was coming down hard I side steam coming from my breath as I said Fucking snow Helge laughed saying what you don't like the cold I shrugged saying I don't care about cold or hot but snow makes everything worse sure it can look pretty and all that but that's only like the beginning of winter here we haven't had a warm day in years nore do I think we will ever Helge shrugged as she opened the door and we walked into the warm building we walked up to the second floor getting are food which didn't look the greatest it was some sort of veritable stew with a cheese sandwich I glared down at the food luckily they make hot sauce which made this pigs dump tastes tolerable many of the other cadets didn't eat it some tried to eat it but could not finish it and the rare few who did finish it didn't like it and everyone complained about it we got a message on our watches I looked at my watch it read new cadets report to room 5 to start your body strengthening class I looked over to Helgd smiled happily she was smiling at me we got up and threw our trash away and we walked back down to the first floor to room 5 the other cadets doing the same Helge and I walked through the double doors to room 5 and I was shocked it was a huge gem there was wait machines all along the left and in the middle of the back wall was exercising pods and on the right side had wooden weapons and protection and mates for training sergeant Rage was standing next two 4 other Sergeants Rex was amongst them when we walked in and fell into line sergeant Rage stepped forward saying welcome cadets in this class you will get what some people call gains wall others just call it your body strengthening you all have activated a system and you all have a primary attribute from strength to Dex and lastly is speed some of you might have more then one primary attribute in that case k would suggest focusing on the highest first know let's get started all those with a strength system please follow Sargent Rock those with a dex system follow me and sergeant Rex wall those with a speed system please follow sergeant Barry move she said and like that I followed Red and sergeant Rage over to the right wall Helge followed sergeant Rock to the left I was shocked I was the only one with a Dex system Rex seen my shock and he smiled saying don't be to surprise us with dex systems have the hardest path that's y not many people have it sense dex can be many things like doing acrobatic, par kour, and just fighting dex is best of your movement naturally dex and speed sort of go hand to hand so you can level them both up at the same time only at first through Sergent Rage turned around with a waited staff in her hands enough talking she said and she threw me another waited staff I cot right when I did Sergent Rage rushed in front of me she was fucking fast all I saw was a blur coming at me but my instincts took over and I rolled to the side dodging her strike twisted my staff and thrusts up at her side but her staff smacked mine away but I didn't let up I started going into a flurry of attacks to everyone else we looked like we was having a hi-speed duel but to me sergeant Rage and I was dancing and communicating to each other with every move every thrust, every block, and every hit held unspoken words in them and even though bruises started appearing on my body and my hands from strikes I could not block or dodge but her next attack through me off-balanced and the kicked me in the chest I slid going to one knee that's when I heard it my first body strengthening or my first gain

Sergeant Rage didn't change again she waited for me to get up when I heard the system I smiled happily and I looked up to her smiling my eyes were burning with the fires of determination and happiness and I lunged back at her thrusting my staff out she easily blocked it but that wasn't my gail this was and I threw a punch at her she wasn't expecting that and my punch connected against her left thigh I was aiming where I knew pressure points where but when my fist connected onto her thigh it was like I was punching a brick wall pain shot up my hand and I felt one of my fingers get dislocated I jumped back avoiding her strike I looked at my left hand my third finger was pulled out of place it hurt like hell I put my staff under one arm and grabbed this finger and with all my strength I pulled it up and back into place it made a cracking noise and I could see the browsing already starting I moved my fingers it still hurt but it wasn't as bad that's when I heard the system again for a body strengthen but also for a shock

I was a little surprised but i guess it's not that shocking I looked back to sergeant Rage who was a little shocked so was Rex who was just standing off to the side watching us I grabbed my staff again and twirled it with that crazy smile still on my face Sergeant Rage shook her head and we lunged back at each other this time I used one fighting style from my previous life it takes both speed and acrobatics it helps smaller people get a advantage I would usually do it with two weapons but beggars can't be choosers so I tried it I jumped slipping over sergeant Rage swing down at her as I slipped over her she blocked it but I wasn't done when I landed I jumped backwards flipping over her but this time I didn't jump hi enough so I sort of just ran to her my punishment for that was two strikes against my stomach I feel to the ground holding my stomach I heard Rex laughing but I didn't care I rolled to my feet my eyes shined with anger but I still was smiling I held my staff with both hands and move next to me as I put my left foot forward and I bent my knees a little sergeant Rage lunged at me that's what I wanted she thrust her staff at my waste but this time I wasn't having none of it I used the top of my Staff to deflect it to the side I thin twisted my staff around hers and with one flick of the wrist Sergeant Rages staff got pulled out of her hands it few to the right almost hitting Rex I tried to put a little distance between us but she didn't let me do that I know she was going for my weapon so I throw my staff behind me which shocked her a little but she didn't stop her movements she threw a left jab at me but I deflected it to the side kicking her in the chest again it was like I was kicking a metal wall but she did slide back a little I got into a fighting stances one hand in front of my one at my waste in a fist this wasn't my normal hand to hand fighting style but my actual fighting style is to dangerous to be used in a training duel but I can still us a versant of it she looked me over and got into a very normal boxing stance she moved close in at me her fists razed I waited she threw a right jab at me I simple moves to the side she threw a quick left then a right jab at me this time I choose to deflect her punches but it still hurt like hell the amount of strength behind them I new I wasn't going to win this fight so I simple focused on strengthening my body and that's what I did I focused on improving my body instead of fighting but that didn't mean I just rolled over for her no I still fought back but not to win but to become stronger by the time we done I was sweeting and breathing hard but it was worth it cuz I strengthened my body one more time

I was on the ground breathing hard my finger was already basically healed but my body still had bruises which was slow healing but as I was laying there looking up at the sealing Helge's face appeared over me she was smiling happily she crouched down saying you look like you were having fun I shrugged saying there are only a few things that make me happy and excited building things is the first one and the second is fighting there's no better thrill then fighting for your life and testing fate she nodded saying we got a few hours to spare want to go back to the shop I shot up saying hell yeah.
