Meanwhile...
The beast and the possessed Kimberly were still engaged in a hug. But by now, the black mist that turned her white gown to black was no where to be seen again as her gown was now back to normal, but her eyes were still black all through.
However, at that same time....
The beast on the other hand was not exceptional, his eyes were tightly closed but his growls were no longer heard. Just one look at his appearance now could tell that whatever siphoned his beast form really took a toll on him.
Because...
His beast horns, the dark claws and the huge black veins on his body were all gone. Everything that made him a beast was now gone except for the furs.., that was Sebastian's.
However...
Not long after, Kimberly's eyes returned back to normal but before her opened blurry eyes could focus, she passed out in the arms of the now already Alex. Thou, he hasn't changed back completely yet but his sanity is now back to him. His was now looking like a half beast with his furs.
However, at that moment.
His eyes were closed when he felt the figure in his hands wobble and his eyes snapped open. Slowly, he disengaged from the hug and laid Kimberly down on one of the trees near them. He laid her in such a way that from her waist up to her head was relaxed on the tree and he squatted in front of her.
At that moment...
Alex looked at the figure in front of him, his face was unreadable and had no expression. It was as if he doesn't know who the unconscious little woman in front of him is and was only acting that way because that's what he was supposed to do.
Still looking at the little woman in front of him, Alex's brows furrowed. No one could tell if it's of confusion or a frown and at that moment...
"Who are you?"
Came his horse voice and instantly he pass out too.

Meanwhile...
"What?!"
"The Weeping Tree?!"
Both Michelle and Louis screamed inwardly at the same time.
"What?!" Michelle's voice came in a whisper at what the figure just said.
All her life, she had never seen the Soul of Albani, the weeping tree. She had only heard of it and from what she'd heard, she wouldn't need a soothsayer to tell her that the task will be an impossible task.
Louis on the other hand was also dumbfounded as he didn't know what to say. It was as if the figure was telling them to go back as what they've come for will never be possible.
Like, it is certified impossibility...
Soul of Albani which is known as the weeping tree, is just an ordinary huge stumpy tree that was blessed by the heavens to weep waters that can console anything inconsolable. It was just an ordinary tree before it's fate was changed.
It was called the soul of Albani because, since the castle inside the forest was cursed, the forest became cursed also. The forest was cursed that the natural rains will never help it grow even if it rains for a whole year. Whenever it rains, even if it sinks into the ground, it will either flow away or be absorbed by the sun again. The rain was of no use to the forest. Because of this, the weeping tree took compassion on the forest and became it's source.
It was with the help of the weeping tree that the forest survived to the this extent and that's the reason it was named after the forest as it Soul.
However...
As time went by, because of the tree's compassion, the heavens granted the weeping tree another gift and that was the gift of absolute Longevity. Adding the gift of consolation with the recent gift of Agelessness, the tree's ability spread like wildfire. People from far and wide began seeking from it.
Well, who would want to age when what can make you ageless is within your reach..?
However...
Driven by greed, some began seeking of ways to acquire the weeping tree as their own. Thus, leading to many calamities. And because of that the weeping tree made a rule..
It can only have gift it's tear to anyone who solves its riddles
Yes, riddles... and it is three to be specific. Before one gets a single tear of the weeping tree, one must solve its riddles and if one fails three of them.... the person dies.
At that moment...
"That is not possible, how can we get the weeping tree to gift us a tear when we can't even answer its riddles..?" Louis began.
"And from what I heard, there hasn't been any one who went through those riddles that survived.."He added.
"There is.." the figure.
"There is?!" Michelle exclaimed, her voice starting to tremble in hope.
"Yes.."the figure said.
"And who could that be..?" She asked.
"My mistress.." the figure replied and both Michelle's and Louis's brows furrowed in confusion.
"Your mistress..? The one you said the other day needs my help?"Michelle asked.
"That's right.." the figure replied.
Immediately Michelle heard those words, her mood became so ecstatic at the discovery that her once lost hope was back.
However...
At that moment, Louis pulled her hand lightly...
"Elle.."he called her aside.
"I don't think this might be the way we think it is..., I mean, do we have to risk our lives..?" Louis asked and Michelle narrowed her eyes at him.
She wanted to snap at him but with some effort, she forced herself to calm down from the thrill of finally seeing that light at the end of the tunnel.
"Are you insinuating we should back off instead? When we are just so close..?" Michelle asked.
"I know what you are worried about but that won't happen..." she added and moved a little closer to him.
"This is not the first time that we are doing something together but it's actually our first time to do something out of ordinary and it's something that will make us formidable, isn't it?"Michelle asked convincingly and after a while, Louis was convinced.
However..
Turning back towards the figure, Michelle looked at Louis as if asking for the permission so she could say something on their behalf and Louis nodded at her.
"So..., We have mind up our mind to help you and your mistress. In return that you and your mistress will help us for our quest for immortality..." Michelle said and Louis nodded in support.
"Well, that's a very good decision you have made.." the figure said.
"Okay now, where do we start..?"Michelle asked anxiously.
"First, we start by getting a tear from the Soul of Albani, so we can perform the ceremony of oasis and subdue the guardian beasts. As I've said before, we have to subdue the guardian beasts first before we can use the Grimoire in its full power."the figure said staring at a dark side of the forest.
"However, we can only meet the weeping tree on a full moon.., so therefore, you should back for today and come back the next full moon.." the figure said and the duo nodded.
"How do we.."
Before Michelle could finish what she was saying, the figure was no longer there.
"Did he just disappeared in to the thin air..?!" She thought inwardly.
"How did he do that?!" Michelle thought as she and Louis began walking back to the exit of the forest.
