Ninety Six what?!

THREE DAYS LATER...

"Urghhh..."

A soft groan escaped Kimberly's lips as she flickered her lashes open. Everywhere was blurry at first as the light was too blaring for her sleepy eyes. She had to blink her eyes repeatedly to adjust to it and when she did, she let out a sigh of relief.

With all these strange things happening to her, she wouldn't want to lose her sight for anything...

"Urghh..."

Kimberly released another groan as she slowly struggled with herself, lifting her upper body weakly. Having lifted her upper successfully, she had to relax it back on the headboard again as she suddenly felt dizzy. Her hand moved to her forehead, she let out a moan and squeezed her face.

However, at that instant, her brows furrowed. She just woke up from her sleep and for heavens sake she slept on a bed!

Instantly, her eyes widened, scanning the unfamiliar gigantic bedroom hastily.

Kimberly had just woken up to meet herself in a big beautiful room, everywhere so white and sparkling. This is got to be a dream, yes? Or was she dead and now in heaven..?!

Yes, she is wealthy as well but can she be compared to this?! Everything in there was a fortune!

With that thought, she blinked her eyes repeatedly but everything still felt so surreal. At that moment, tears clouded her eyes instantly, so this was how died without getting her revenge.... so this was how it all ends...

Kimberly thought as hot tears rolled down her cheeks, also touching her forehead from the headache she was feeling. However, all of a sudden...

"Kpruuhh..."

Came Kimberly's rumbling stomach.

Hastily looking around, Kimberly heaved a sigh, thankfully no one heard her stomach make such noise. But all of a sudden, something hit her...

Huh!

How can a dead person feel headache and hunger at the same time..? She thought, her eyes widening.

At that moment...

The door of the room cracked open and old man Chen walked in.

"Are you okay?" He came in.

"Mr. Chen, what's going? How did we get here without me even knowing?"Kimberly asked, trying to get down from the bed while using her fingers to comb through her scattered hair.

"Do you remember anything?" Old man Chen asked as he sat on the bed beside her as he placed his hand on her forehead taking her temperature.

"What happened??" Kimberly and Old man Chen's brows furrowed.

"You really don't remember anything??" He asked again and Kimberly shook her head in confusion.

"No I don't, tell me what happened already.., you are scaring me Mr. Chen. Are we dead..?" She asked tearing up already.

Old man Chen moved closer to her, he pulled her into a hug and began patting her hair lovingly.

"It's nothing, you don't have to remember." He muttered.

"Tell me, did I do something wrong? I really don't know why I can't remember anything,I was inside the hut when I suddenly saw myself inside the forest and there's this thing coming at me and I..."

"Nothing happened child, stop trying to remember. You are fine.." Old man Chen said as he disengaged from the hug.

Kimberly sighed and rested her head calmly back on the headboard but she couldn't stop wondering what was happening...

She wanted to talk when...

"Kpruhh.." her stomach rumbled loudly making her swallow whatever she wanted to say. Instantly, Kimberly face palmed herself in embarrassment and Old man Chen chuckled loudly.

Does her stomach always have to embarrass her in front of people..? Kimberly thought inwardly.

However, in a flick of finger.

The door of the room opened and two maids made their way in with trays filled with different kind of delicacies in their hands. They slowly walked to where Kimberly sat and dropped them on the table in front of her. Once they were done setting the table for her, they left the room.

Immediately Kimberly's eyes landed on the food, she subconsciously licked her lips, her mouth already getting watery.

How on earth did they know she was hungry to this percent..?! She thought.

"Eat up, you must be starving.."she suddenly heard from Old man Chen.

"Huh? How'd you know that I feel starved.." Her head snapped towards him in curiosity as she immediately adjusted herself, picking the fork to dig in.

"Who wouldn't be starved after sleeping for almost ninety six hours..?" Old man Chen said and instantly the fork in Kimberly's hand dropped crashing with the ceramic place and a loud noise was heard.

Huh?! Ninety six what..?! Kimberly screamed inwardly.

"W-what..?" She asked unbelievably.

"Now you are going to tell me what exactly happened, Mr. Chen." Kimberly said seriously, her stomach kept rumbling for food but she cared less. Her attention now was towards old man Chen.

But however...

"Fine, I will tell you what happened but you will have to finish this food first and go clean up, you look awful..." Old man Chen said trying hard not to snicker and Kimberly's eyes snapped to her body that was covered with a duvet and her eyes narrowed and she began reaching for one of the pillows.

"And I also can't tell you anything when you are looking like this, and you also stink.." Old man Chen laughed at her expression and quickly got off before Kimberly's hand could reach the pillow.

Finally, Kimberly grabbed it and throw the pillow at him and he caught it easily with a playful grin.

"Go away.."she muttered as she combed her hair with her hands in cute way as she was embarrassed.

"You can throw all you want but am not telling you anything if you don't eat up, freshen up and meet me downstairs." Old man Chen said and with that he turned and wanted to walk out of the room but he halted and turned again...

"And please brush your teeth your morning breath, it stinks, I know you don't even remember the last time you... Alright.. alright I won't talk anymore, meet me downstairs later." Old man Chen chuckled and quickly flew out of the room. He had changed what he was saying when Kimberly grabbed another pillow and with the expression on her face Old man Chen couldn't help but change his speech.

Her expression was that of anger but it was in a cute way...

However..

Immediately Old man Chen left, Kimberly chuckled and got down from the bed. Does she really have a bad breath?

She palmed her mouth and puffed out air in it and she perceived. Immediately the scent went into her nostrils, she stumbled in dizziness, her face squeezed in displeasure as it really was true, her mouth stinks.

"Urghh..." she groaned inwardly and walked to the door she could tell was the bathroom. Immediately she was in, she grabbed a tooth brush and paste, mix it and stared at herself in the mirror.

"What.?!" She gasped, she really looked awful.

Meanwhile...

'Was she possessed somehow? Or was it his imagination..? Old man Chen thought remembering what happened three days ago as soon as he walked out of the room Kimberly was.

Walking out of the castle, he made his way into the garden and his eyes went to the dark corner of the garden where there was a cottage and..

"She's awake now, you have to wake up too.." He muttered walking away.
