Meeting Josephine Parker

Mrs.Parker decided that instead of going out to dinner, she would arrange for her housekeeper to prepare a meal for Erin and her friend at their home.

...

Daniel and Erin arrived at the townhouse in a taxi. Erin wore a stylish cream colored knee-length dress, with a beige coat over and black patent heels.

Daniel was dressed in a smart shirt, and suit pants. No tie, and a smart winter coat on top.

Erin walked up to the black, old-fashioned door and rang the doorbell; her stomach was in a knot and her palms began to sweat.

"Welcome back Mademoiselle,"

greeted the housekeeper.

Erin smiled politely and stepped into the home. The housekeeper took Daniel and Erin's jackets and they both stood awkwardly waiting to be greeted.

"Pumpkin!" shouted Gary, scooping Erin up in his big arms.

Daniel watched as the cheerful, round old man turned a shade of pink and gleefully squeezed Erin.
