Cut it Out

Daniel locked his office and pulled Erin close and told her, "Walk with me."

Mr.Daniel Yang marched down the corridors with Miss Parker-Chen taking wide steps at his side. His height made him tower over the average man, even Erin who was indeed tall for a woman, wearing her high heels only reached his shoulder.

The staff members who saw them coming quickly turned back and got out of their way; some held their breath as the two walked past.

Daniel had a straight unemotional face and Erin looked ahead and kept the fast pace.

The elevator doors opened and the scared staff members froze.

Without a word, Daniel coughed and the people scattered, clearing the elevator.

Daniel gave Erin a cheeky wink once the doors closed.

Erin smiled at him, "Do you know?" she said, "The first time I saw you was in this elevator."

Daniel looked interested, "Really?"

"Yes.." she continued, "But .. you didn't notice me."
