Baby Blues

3:00 AM.

Josephine lay in the spacious bed beside Erin.

Erin would flick the bedside lamp on every two hours, hearing the cry of her hungry baby.

Josephine sighed loudly and sat up, beside the new nursing mother.

"Sorry mom, did he wake you?" Erin spoke apologetically.

Mrs.Parker groaned loudly,

"Well if his cry didn't wake me then your switching the light on and off constantly definitely would!"

Erin gave her a strange look, "Mom what can I do? That's my life now."

"You could give him a bottle of formula, he would be fuller and sleep longer!"

Erin frowned, "Ummm... but the nurse told me that I am doing a good job breastfeeding and not to introduce a bottle so early."

Mrs.Parker sat up and grabbed the pillow, "Fine, I will sleep on the sofa."

"Mom!" Erin called.

Mrs.Josephine waved her hands at her and left the room in her daughter's pyjamas.

Josephine lay down on the long gray sofa in the dimly lit living area.
