Sitting the Month

Over the next week Erin started to get the hang of things. After spending every hour caring for the spoiled little boy, she became more confident in her abilities.

The Cook was a kind woman who would bring Erin trays of delicious and comforting Chinese food. Warm dishes prepared with ginger, and soups made with broth and bones to help strengthen the body after childbirth were given to Erin in her bedroom.

"Please eat it here," the cook insisted, seeing Erin getting up.

"Mrs.Yang," knocked the butler, "Your mother in law has arrived."

Erin quickly sat up and fixed her appearance, "Okay, that is fine let her in," Erin said, dismissing the staff.

They nodded and quickly left the room. Daniel's mother entered the home accompanied by the doorman carrying bags of gifts.

The butler received her, "Mrs.Yang," he bowed.

Mrs.Yang entered the home and removed her jacket passing it to the butler.
