Lina felt fed up, infuriated, her patience was wearing out.

Do I look like a pushover?

Where do people get off speaking to me like this!

A never-ending to-do list of over a hundred things, decorations, lesson-planning, cooking, cleaning. The requests just kept pouring in, and she felt like she was always in somebody's service.

After the school day came to an end, she just wanted to head home as fast as possible without running into yet another person who needed something from her.

As she made her way out of the campus and walked down the wet streets in the direction of the subway station, she caught a glimpse of ShaoQing getting into his car and driving down the road.

He passed by her, splashing a puddle her way and pulled to a slow stop.

"Lina!" he called, rolling down the window, "Get in, let me drive you."

"I'm fine!" she insisted, pushing on, "I like walking!"

He continued to drive slowly along side her, with an entertained smile.
