Lina held Julie's hand and followed Will to the reception, where a bus boy took their bags up.

"Actually," Lina said signalling for the bus boy to stop.

She removed her suitcase from the trolley and turned to face Will who looked annoyed.

"I will go stay with my dad," she said rubbing his arm to help relieve his worries.

He frowned and stood opposite Lina with his arms crossed and he didn't even try to hide his bothered expression.

"Why?" he said plainly.

"Room 303!" he snapped at the nosy receptionist who was listening.

"You head up Julie, Miss Lina and I will be there in five minutes."

Julie nodded and took the elevator up to the usual room that her father always got when in Beijing.

"I can't," Lina explained trying to comfort him, "Will I have to stay at my dad's house. I haven't seen him or my brother for over five months."

He puffed a loud, irritated breath, "And what about me? I need you tonight Lina."

"I know, I'll come see you tomorrow okay?"
