“My wife is right, Hawke. I do not attend dinner parties,” Liam replied. “If you wish to discuss business, I will be happy to do so at the dance. I do all of my after-hour business dealings there. Otherwise, I go to the hospital on Monday at nine. It
is across from the dress shop on Delaware Avenue.”
Jim: You don't go to Dinner or your wife doesn't let you?
Liam: "We are one, Whatever she says I accept, and whatever I say she accepts. We don't force our decision on each other, We simply compromise and agree"
Jennet noted the rising tension in his voice.
Jim: “Then Belinda and I shall be going,” Jim rigidly stated. “I might keep my business with someone else than a person who is totally under the control of his wife”
Liam: “You are certainly within your rights to do so,” Liam easily
responded. “I won't hold that against you but remember one thing never try to humiliate my wife in front of me or you will get a punch from me. I love her more than my life so be cautious”
