Giant Dogs
Florence's POV
I came back to lab via cab after finishing my meeting with that irritating guy in Police Station. As I entered in the lab, my gold hearted assistant came with bundle of files in his hand.
"Dr. Dawson, these are few cases on which Inspector needs another round of Examination", saying this he placed three files aside. "And here are few new cases arrived of accidents and murders", said my little assistant while holding another 5 files.
"Dr. Jace Chadwick, we can't consider it as few. Let's go we have to work our ass off", I said and got up from my chair while putting my gloves.
We did our work till sun went in the clouds back and finally it was the time of day off. I came out from the lab and was waiting for my cab as I have already booked it via app, that irritating guy appeared again in front of my eyesight. He was driving his convertible open jeep and he stopped his jeep just in front of me.
"Will you mind Dr. Dawson, if I drop you at your home?", he asked me while removing his goggles.
"I appreciate your kind nature Mr. Russell, but I have already booked a cab", I said...
"Fine, let's wait until your cab arrive", he said and I frowned...literally this man is going to become pain in my ass. I waited for ten minutes, but still my cab didn't arrive.
"You are waiting since a long time. Just call the driver of your cab and confirm whether he is interested in receiving you or not", He said while giving me innocent smile and I frowned. I called my driver but he cut my called as soon as it connected...what the fuck...
"Will you mind now if I become your driver for today Dr. Dawson...", he said while coming down from his jeep, and he opened the door of co-pilot seat for me like a gentleman...
I was not feeling comfortable going with him but as I was late, I accepted it. I entered inside while keeping emotionless face. He too sat besides me and all the time a bright smile was hanging on his lips.
He leaned towards me and my eyes widened thinking about his move. What is inside his mind? I was feeling really awkward at this moment and I was about to scold him, when he pulled seat belt buckle from its position and locked it inside socket. I was observing him with shocked expressions. As soon as he finished his work he gave me cheesy smile. And I gave him forced smile in return.
" I would like to know your address Miss", he said looking towards me...
I picked up his mobile and set my location in his mobile's map...I signalled him towards his phone while putting it back on its holder.
He started driving after giving me cheesy smile once again. I guess today is the worst day of my life. First riding with him and now adding fuel in the fire, his car stopped while making irritating sound.
He went out from the car to check engine. While I was irritated like hell. I too hopped out from the car and stood besides him while folding my hands to chest.
" How much time will you take Mr. Russell?", I asked...
" There is a little break down in electrical wiring. Let me correct it", he said and engrossed in his work. I started walking towards my home to kill the time.
I crossed around half kilometre walking, when an unwanted event occurred in front of me...
Two giant sized dogs which were looking like wolfs came and stood in front of me leaving a small distance between us...My legs which were shaking little bit didn't find any way other than running out from this situation to save my little life. I just ran away and they both dogs were following me badly.
While running without thinking much, I entered in woods. I was running while looking back when suddenly my legs crashed with a stone and I landed on a hard ground. My head smashed with ground and suddenly I felt dark smog surrounding me...
