Dilemma

Days passed in a blink. The business event was knocking at the door. Manav couldn't make time to come here and Rajiv cared less about these kinds of events. So it was only Raunak and Deep who went to Singapore.

Raunak and Deep had a mutual project that came to an end. So they turned into rivals like old times. In business markets, it was foolish to believe anyone, even own business partners. But even after being rivals, they couldn't help but trust other ones. They really had good times together.

"Mr. Roy, this drive has your confidential files. Are you sure I'm not going to steal them?" Raunak asked amusingly as Deep asked him to keep his confidential files, especially of business.

"Unless you want a divorce, Mr. Sen." Deep smirked. As Drishti was a shareholder of his company, it was easy to play with Raunak's emotions. Though she never cared about business, she would never like betrayal from her husband.

Raunak smiled bitterly with the mention of her name. Seemed like they wouldn't give him a chance to have a little fun. But a frown showed up on his face when he looked Deep was busy drinking alcohol.

"You're drinking too much nowadays. Not good for you." He sat beside him and grabbed the glass in his hand.

"Let me drink. I can't drink in front of Mitali." He forced the glass free.

"Deep!? But that doesn't mean you can drink without informing her. If you are doing something, let her know. She already has trust issues with you." Raunak sighed. In his opinion, Mitali needed to know about him, all of him. He couldn't just keep her in the dark.

"I can't let her know everything, Raunak. I failed, i failed as a son, as a friend, as a husband even as a human. I'm not even worthy of being a human." He was crying. Mitali never liked to see him in pain, so he didn't bring up the matter in front of her.

"Can you tell me what's bothering you most? If you don't mind." Raunak couldn't help but ask. He was in tension.

"Ummm...I can't get too intimate with her. I need to avoid her. All the time I run away from her, she gets hurt. I know she never asks me, but I don't know how to tell her. If by any chance our intimacy causes trouble…..I...I don't want to lose her, I can't. " He was crying out of his life.

Raunak understood why he was that depressed. It was hard to make her understand. Deep was really in a dilemma.

"But I still prefer you to talk to her. You can't solve it by avoiding it." He sighed.

"I don't know. Take care of those files for now. I don't believe anyone here." He started to doze off.

Raunak once looked at the drive, then at him. Shaking his head a little, he left his suite. When Raunak reached his suite, he thought of talking to Drishti about the matter. She could solve anything in every situation.

But when he called her, it was switched off. He frowned as he couldn't reach her for the past few days. He thought she might be in Germany but it was rare for her not to call. And the thing confused him more was, all of her friends were out of reach. Raunak couldn't help but tense for them. Were they in any trouble?

Well, he had a way to know!

"Congratulations!!!" All of them said loudly to Mayank as his game launching was completed. And it was released just now. Mayank's eyes were moist. He didn't know his sister's friend could help him that much. They made him feel like home.

"Thank you." He sighed a little.

"Thanks won't work. Give us a treat." Rishi smirked.

"I knew you will ask that. So I'm prepared." Mayank smiled.

"Look, Rishi! Everyone knows you are a foodie." Drishti smirked.

"And everyone knows you are a miser girl. Even waiters didn't ask you money nowadays. They straightly come to us." Dhruv said in a low voice, loud enough to make them listen to it.

"Guys!! You are still busy in thinking about all those. I'm tensed dad will disown me like she did to Maya Di. I left some important meetings for this game. Now I'm out of India. I wonder what's dad doing." Mohit wanted to cry but no tears. He left his family business in a crucial situation.

"Hehe! My dad will do the same. I hardly cared about his hospital business. But I needed to attend a board meeting, I skipped it." Aditya smiled bitterly.

"Here comes my rich second generation friends. I think it's good to do a job like me." Dhruv fanned himself with attitude, "He didn't need to think about these."

"By the way, Mohit, you can ask help from your brother in law. I mean let him show up in your place. That's gonna be fun. Maya doesn't want to see your dad doesn't mean your bil can't " Drishti curved her lips.

"Shit! I never thought about that. You know his face changed a lot in these days. Maybe dad can't remember him. He hardly saw him once. And maybe it can solve family matters to." Mohit immediately went out with his phone.

"Give me some suggestions too. I'm stuck." Aditya frowned.

"Ask Rhea to help you. She learnt business from Manav bhai." Drishti shrugged.

After a session of call and talk, they went to have dinner. They were late because of work. So they enjoyed the meal Mayank prepared for them. They ate peacefully until Rishi said, "Does Raunak know we are in Singapore?"

Drishti choked on her food remembering this. She needs to meet him in the event. She didn't even contact him after his departure. Even Deep didn't know anything about it. She was in deep trouble.

"I didn't tell him." She sighed.

"Oh, Di, I mailed him my resignation letter few minutes before. I'm sure he's gonna freak out." Mayank mused.

"Good job. I don't think it's gonna be a problem." But she knew Raunak would be mad at her as she kept all those secrets.

"But I think he knows everything." Rishi bit his lips.

All eyes were on him as these words left his mouth.

"How are you so sure?" Aditya asked.

"Shalini informed him." Rishi sighed.

"Seriously?" Mohit groaned. He knew Shalini helped them a lot in Mayank's project. Yet they forbade her to utter a single word.

"Looks like you and Shalini are going along well. Why do you keep touch with her so much,?" Dhruv raised an eyebrow at Rishi.

"I noticed it too. I felt you were hitting on her." Drishti smirked.

"Watch you mouth! She's not my type. It's just she's suspicious. I am keeping an eye on her, got it, gold digger? You better watch out."

Drishti exchanged glanced with others nothing knowing what was going into his mind!
