Hard to guess

"What the hell!!" Raunak was dumbfounded as he saw Mayank on the stage. The business event was one of the events where top notch business personalities were eligible to come. Mayank also applied for a resignation and Raunak approved as he couldn't help but keeping Drishti's request. But he didn't expect to meet him that soon.

"Shocked? Good. I will do the same if my assistant suddenly turns into a business. " Deep said in a depressed voice from beside.

"You knew it, right?" Raunak asked narrowing his eyes.

"I know Mayank since he was in school. Of course I knew it. I knew about him more than you think." Deep shook his head. It was not possible to know anyone as a boss. If you wanted to know someone, you needed to interact personally.

"Explain." Raunak demanded.

"Why don't you listen to his speech? You can understand then." He rolled his eyes.

"I said, Explain."

Deep sighed. Sometimes Raunak behaved like a kid.

"Mayank liked to play games a lot. So when he was in college, he thought to launch games. He was undoubtedly a good game designer. His first game became very popular in India. But after Dhara's death, he kept himself away from these. He decided to divert himself from everything that reminds him of Dhara. But you know, no work can be done without enjoyment. He didn't enjoy anything he did. So again, he designed a game. This time, his past friends didn't agree to work with him. So Drishti and her friends helped him with those even after handling their own works. They are really amazing, aren't they?"

Raunak once looked at Mayank and then at Deep. These information was somehow too much for him. Still he was hurt, they could have informed him for once. He would never stop Mayank from finding a little enjoyment.

"Do you know it's just seven days his game had released and already that broke a lot of records. It's trending now. So he is here, as a successful game designer." Deep smiled and guestered at the door where Drishti and her friends had been waiting for Mayank.

Now Raunak understood why everyone rushed to Singapore leaving their important works behind. They were really something.

When Mayank came down from the stage, he directly came towards Raunak.

"Sir, thank you for your guidance in those years. You taught me a lot of things." He smiled faintly. It was Dhara's dream to see him successful and at last he could make it.

"You could have told me about this before." That's what Raunak could say. He was happy for him.

"We told you that. Why? You didn't know this!! Di said...." Mayank remember Drishti said, she noticed Raunak about all those.

"She didn't say anything to me. She lied to you." Raunak huffed.

"No! She packed those gifts in front of me notifying about our daily whereabouts. You didn't recieve those?" Mayank was confused. If Drishti asked the hotel management to send those, no way they would mess with her.

"What!? Gifts?" Raunak was dumbfounded. He almost cursed the gift sender every morning he recieved those gifts. Turned out it was Drishti. She sent a gift box every morning! He should have understood why she cared less about that mysterious woman, she herself was that.

"Damn! You guys are making me crazy." Raunak didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"You know what! You are born crazy. Or else who doesn't check on the recieved gifts!? What did you say? I'm a married man. I don't like to recieve gifts from other woman....dumbhead! Hotel management told me everything." Drishti was standing behind him locking hands on her chest. Hearing her words, everyone tried hard to control their laughter.

"Hotel management said it was from their boss. Since when you own holtel business?"

The moment these words left Raunak's mouth, he understood what kind of mistake he made, "It's Blake's company, right? And you have shares there."

Why couldn't he understand that before? But it was really hard to know as Woods were really secretive about the business issues. Moreover she was like a family to him.

"Dri, you are really something." Deep sighed. He didn't know it even.

"But what did you send as gifts?" Raunak became curious.

"You should have opened it. At least with every gifts I sent you my whereabouts. My address was in your hand, but you couldn't get it."

"You are hard to guess."

"How's Amal Mehta now?" Anand asked Avantika in a low voice. He didn't want her to know he was updated with every moves.

"Good. He has been discharged from hospital. He wanted to meet you more than once."

She didn't know what to do. She didn't want to tell him about their conflict in the hospital. Maybe it could anger Anand more.

"I didn't plan to meet him. I don't accept him as my father. And of course I don't care about a stranger." Anand knew he was being stubborn. But he could never accept that man in his life again. He was happy with his and his mom's memories. That was more than enough to him.

"Did you meet dad?" Avantika asked St last. That day he went to her house from hospital first. Though her family father didn't utter a word about that, she knew it from Arun. Good for her, Arun shared everything that her father informed him.

"Yeah, to provide some documents about your uncle. I asked for the permit using those." He nodded.

"Oh" She was doubting his words. If he was only to give those information, her father would have talked something at least mentioned it.

"Did Asha and Avinash curse me?" Anand knew it was not impossible.

"I didn't hear anything like this." She didn't know it she should tell him everything or not. She didn't want Anand to feel bad for his siblings. Moreover she was the one to disclose those things. She didn't want to get scolded.

"That's good. But you are in police station? Did anything happen?" Anand asked.

"You told me to think before taking decisions and I thought...ummmm.....I think I'm ready to be a part of your dangerous life." She didn't look at him. It was embarrassing.

Anand looked at her with wonder. It was that girl who couldn't even say that she liked him. She looked cute when she becomes bold.

"You have grown confidence, that's good. Well, get ready tomorrow by 6 in the evening. I will take you to somewhere." He smiled.

"Where? To a date?" She was curious.

Anand parted his lips but no words came. He was thankful that Drishti or Raunak was not in India. Or else they would have teased her.

"Well, kind of." He smiled bitterly.
