Murder suspected

Ragini was looking at the smiling face in front of her. No life, no movement. Only like a statue, her dad was looking at her. Still his eyes were sparkling. She hadn't seen her mother yet. She knew doctor forbade her to meet her mom.

Sanjana's face was having scars as the broken glasses got stuck on her skin. Ragini wouldn't be able to handle that fear.

Ragini tried to touch the sparkling eyes if her dad. But before she could do that, Raunak pulled her away from him. Wiping the tears on his face, he closed those eyes. Now there was only darkness, no light, no sparkling, nothing.

Drishti pulled her in her embrace and hugged tightly. She was feeling like her whole world broke down. It would be great if she died instead of Rajiv. She had a lot of memories with him, memories of sorrows, happiness, tears and fun. She thought if she had to bear this unbearable pain, what would Ragini need to go through.

"Rag, dad will be happy where he is." She said in a shaky voice not knowing how to coax this little girl, now even herself. Three of them started to cry loudly. They lost their most beloved persons. Who thought two lives will end this soon?

"You are a liar, bhai!! You are a liar! You said we will shift into a new house. You even chose the house to buy. How could you do that? We supposed to live together, happily!?...(sob)....." Raunak broke down. He lost his mother, he punished his father, sanjana and Rajiv was his only family. How could they leave him?

He didn't know how to handle all these. Already his business partners started to plan against him. Business markets were never believable. Even Anand was guessing it as a murder. But his thoughts shattered when Ragini said in a low voice, "I want to meet mom. I want to see her for a last time."

Raunak and Drishti exchanged glances. In a silent understanding, they got out of the private cabin. As the hospital was owned by Aditya's family and doctors like Kaushik and Kartik also reached there, they helped hmthem to get rid of media for the time being. At least the wanted to protect Ragini from the media spotlight.

Outside the room, Deep, Mitali, Anand, Avantika, Aditya, Rhea, Manav, Dhruv, Rishi, Mohit, Maya everyone was waiting. They knew Rajiv was dead like Sanjana but they wanted it to be false, they wanted it as a dream.

"Anand, Ragini wants to meet Sanjana di." Raunak said with a sigh. There was fear in everyone's face.

Aditya was the one to react first, "She's still a kid. That scene is not appropriate for her."

They knew it. Maybe Ragini knew it too. Aditya knew no one is imperishable not even memory. She would forget this pain, these scenes gradually. But that brutal scene of Sanjana could have a bad impact on her, even create nightmares. From the point of his profession, he didn't want her to see him.

"Rag, we will meet mom, okay? But we won't see her face. Do you agree?" Drishti said in a trembling voice. She didn't know what to do more.

"You don't want me to see mom. How can I know if she's my mom or not if I don't see her face?" Ragini was stubborn. No matter how painful it was she wanted to see her mom for a last time.

"Do you know your mom had a tattoo on her wrist? Tattoo of flying butterfly?" Raunak asked biting his lips not wanting to cry again.

When Ragini nodded, Raunak looked at Aditya for permission. This time Aditya didn't reject.

"Then, we will see the tattoo. Then you will know its your mom, right?" Raunak toom her in his embrace and sighed deeply.

"Okay." Ragini said in a low voice. At least they agreed her to see Sanjana.

When Raunak took her to meet her, Drishti suddenly asked Aditya, "Can you hypnotise her in forgetting all these?"

Aditya was dumbfounded. From where did the get the idea?

"Dri, she's a kid. She will forget it one day. Don't you dare to think of that. That's not a solution."

"I know!!" Drishti started crying again. She lost Dhara few days back. Now Sanjana and Rajiv. Why the hell she needed to go through all these deaths? Why God was not merciful towards her?

"Dri, don't cry. We suspect that's a murder. The car hit them had a fake number plate and it was pre planned. At least that's what the CCTV says." Anand hugged Drishti tightly knowing it was hard for her. Actually it was hard for everyone. But Drishti was mentally more attached to Rajiv, maybe more than Raunak.

"You know bhai, I still didn't edit my manuscript. I should have done that before he went away. I disappointed him." She was crying hard.

"Hush...he won't be happy to see you cry. Just pray for him. Give him a beautiful goodbye." Anand managed to say these though he was crying with her too. Rajiv once helped him in his studies. If he was today's Anand Mehta, Rajiv dutt had this credit after Kartik Ganguli. He didn't know why it pained like his mother's death. He felt the same pang in his heart. Maybe he would never care about his father, that much he didn for Rajiv.

In the marge,

Ragini didn't dared to touch the tattooed hand. She was looking st it without even blinking as if memorising every feature of it. Raunak looked st her with moist eyes. He was wondering how that little kid could handle all the pain!

"Let's go uncle." After a long time she said wiping her tears. Raunak nodded and took her out. When he reached at Drishti and others, suddenly Aditya pulled him away from all if them.

"Raunak I think, Drishti...." Aditya didn't know how to say.

"What Drishti?" Raunak wanted to know.

"Her delusional disorder could be back. I am not sure about it but these kind of big accidents could effect her psychological state and you know those diseases, they never leave easily."

Raunak could only look at him. He didn't know how all of these going to end. But he didn't want to see any distraction anymore. Maybe it was time for him to fight against the fate. There was an exam for him and he needed to pass.
