Friends in need

After seeting those dead bodies on fire, Raunak was sitting on a roadside cafe to have a cup of tea. He was in no mood of tea but his head was paining like hell. It was almost two at night. But he couldn't go home now. He needed to go to Anand's house to meet that driver. He sent Drishti and Ragini home just now.

"Raunak!" He went out of his thoughts with the sudden voice. It was Rishi who called him. Raunak looked behind and found Rishi, Aditya, Dhruv and Mohit was standing in a line. Didn't they just go to drop Drishti?

But that was the first time Raunak saw Dhruv in his uniform. Though it was not the right time, he needed to admit, Dhruv looked devilishly handsome in those uniform.

"Raunak, I need to go. My job is calling me." Dhruv said with a sigh. He knew he needed to stay with them at this moment. But he couldn't do that anyhow. Of course he needed to go for marine trip. Maybe for six months. He didn't know when he would return. But he would, at least for these people.

"Oh" Raunak almost forgot it was the time for him to go. He actually never considered Dhruv nothing but a photographer. Though he knew he was mainly a marine engineer, he chose to ingone that.

"I don't know when I will be able to call you or contact with you, but I will do that right the moment I get a chance. Don't worry about me. And please notify me about everything in the case. I will check it when I get time." Dhruv wanted to cry. He lost Rajiv and Sanjana but he needed to go like a selfish.

What else he could do? He could only leave his job. That's not possible. He still has a family to take care of and they were not from any business background. With a faint smile, he took farewell from everyone. Raunak only nodded at him. The moment he was about to get in the car, Raunak called him from behind, "Have a safe journey and.......please come back."

He couldn't afford to lose anyone at this moment. The accident broke him enough. Dhruv didn't know why these words affected him so much. He gave a last hug to him, though he never planned it. He took out an envelope from his pocket and handed it to him.

And without any words, he hugged his friends and got into the car. Once he stepped in, he didn't look back because that would only make him weak.

Raunak curiously opened the envelope and found a letter from marine business federation. He looked at the disappearing car for once and again looked at the letter.

It stated the ship parts business they had with Dutt's will transferred in the real heir's name once she turned 18. They wouldn't allow anyone else except Ragini or her legal guardian to step into the business.

Actually the letter was for Rajiv's shareholders. Dhruv already contacted his seniors and talked with the management. He worked the whole day to get this letter before he leaves. Didn't matter if he was present there or not, he was always with them, beside them.

Teardrops rolled down from Raunak's cheeks. Really Drishti got some true friends. He never thought he would do that much for him. Now if one business was rescued like that, he could handle the rest. It was one of Rajiv's main businesses.

"Did he just help me like this?" Raunak asked Aditya, Mohit abd Rishi. In the world he grew up was full of cruelty. Except Rajiv and Anand no one was kind to him. He didn't know still the world was beautiful.

"What do you think? It's a crisis. We will help you to overcome. Then what are we for if we can't help in this time?" Rishi wiped his own tears, "He didn't help you. He helped Ragini. We are the one who took her in embrace after Rajiv bhai. We played with her even when Sanjana di was sleeping. We love her."

Raunak smiled and cried together. He didn't know how to say thanks. And he didn't need to thank them. They were more attached with Rajiv than he was.

"Raunak, it's not time to fall weak. Listen, I've found the list of those shareholders who are creating problems." Rishi showed him a USB, "Everyone had weakness. We sorted out some. Now Ragini needed to be adopted officially. Then you can proceed to take over Rajiv bhai's business for her and if they don't agree, we will play dirty."

"And we are preparing to do that. Maybe we can use threats if they had some weakness and if no, I can hypnotise someone to do according to us." Aditya looked into his eyes which contained promises

"Yes, we already started to find their personal life after finishing the professional one. Don't worry within three days, you can take steps. Just give a waring to them tomorrow or an ultimatum." Mohit sighed. They had no other ways but going against the law. Because at this moment, law won't help.

"You guys did it in just a few hours. Even planning to hypnotise them. Now I know how you become Drishti's friends. You are the same." Raunak was getting afraid. He knew things were not that easy but did the forget he was an influential businessman in Texas. He could handle it in other ways and already he talked to some people to manage these.

"No need to hypnotise for this. We can hypnotise for getting proofs. That has low risk according to law." Maya gave him a faint smile.

Raunak didn't meet her officially but he knew about her. He heard a lot from Mohit.

"Though I'm not any criminal lawyer, I can still help." She smirked. because she already sorted some things out.

Raunak nodded a little. He never knew he had so many people to stand beside him. He was not alone anymore.

"Okay, then come with me to meet the driver unofficially."

.

Next morning, Raunak and Drishti was sitting beside Dadu. She didn't even take part in any ritual. She didn't want them dead. She had a dream to live together with two of her grandchildren. But the thing couldn't happen anymore.

"Dadu, I have something to say." Raunak said with a sigh. He remembered how Deep texted him to take Ragini's custody. Raunak also knew how much Mitali loved Ragini. She would never be mother. She would cherish Ragini with all of her life But he needed to talk to Dadu about it. The more adoption would happen, the more he could proceed with other things. He would get enough time to cry. But to punish the culprit, he had less time.

"What do you want to talk?" Dadu said with a sigh.

"Deep wants to adopt Ragini."

Dadu gave him a blank look, "How can accept that? She is your own blood Do you want to get rid of her that soon? Rajiv gave her responsibilities to you. How can you even say that? You need to take care of her. What if he leaves her after getting her properties."

Dadu maybe didn't know herself what was she talking about. Of course it didn't make sense. No matter how bad Deep was before, he wouldn't dare to mess with Ragini.

"He's not like that. " Drishti muttered in a low voice. She didn't want to bring the matter now. Dadu was not mentally stable now. It was normal for her to freak out. And it really sounded like they wanted to get rid of Ragini. But it was not true. They were just trying to sort the matter as fast as she could.

"Why are you favouring him?" Dadu glared at her, "Listen, she is my granddaughter and I won't let anyone take her."

The warning in her voice was prominent. Raunak and Drishti didn't say anything more. They knew it was not the right time.

When they got out of the room, Raunak informed Deep about it with a sigh. Deep knew it would cause trouble. He didn't want to force anyone. With a faint smile, he said, "I think we should handle it on other ways. And let Ragini take her decision. With whom she wants to live. I'm sure she is capable enough to take her decisions and we will respect that."

They agreed with it. Anand also let the driver go as police was finding him too. Anand didn't want to portrait Raunak or Drishti as culprit. So he needed to take care of it carefully. He knew how to manage rules, and also how to break it without any trance.

Drishti was about to say something but found Aditya sent her a mail. The moment she opened it, her jaw dropped. That shouldn't have happened. Actually they returned early because one of Sanjana's patients was having critical situations. But suspicious thing, he is not in the country anymore.

"So that was planned like this." Drishti gritted her teeth.
