Chapter 75

.. I hope you’ll always recognize me regardless of how I would change.” That was when my eyes opened, and I became aware of my consciousness. That I was alive now. It was Amaia's voice that I heard. And then at the night I last saw her. The disgusted look I gave her and how she looked disappointed and flee. Even after she’d said those words to me. I shouldn’t have let her know I got scared of her that night. I shouldn’t have let an inch of it shows. But then it did and there was nothing I could do to change it.

All the way, it had been better if she hadn’t seen me that night.

I was awake before Creamy came into the room, so I acted like I wasn’t and listened to what he had to say. It had to be dramatic don’t you think? If he’d come in and met my eyes opened it won’t have been as dramatic as I wanted it to be.

I heard everything he said about her, how she left and went through everything and even had to face death. I heard everything even when I made a little sniffing sound, he didn’t hear any of it. Seems he was so engrossed in talking about her. She’d gone through so much already. It was time now, our time together and I pray the moon goddess doesn’t snatch her away from me because we deserve to be happy.

Hope he didn’t catch feelings.

Amaia was a likable, sweet little darling. I won’t blame him if he did fall for her. But he shouldn’t dare!

I couldn’t wait to get up from this bed and have a proper bath. I don’t know what Creamy had been doing to me.

“How could you? Damn! That must’ve been embarrassing..” he laughed at himself.

“It was embarrassing, I couldn’t believe you were talking like that, since when did you start rumbling like a woman.”

“Shut up..” He cracked up.

“Hadn’t had the thought that I might be listening?”

“I did but just at the back of my mind. And I kept on talking to you every day and then it just..”

“Happened?”

He laughed.

“Alpha..”

He stood up from the bed when the seer, physician, and cartel came in. Cartel hurried to my side and stare at me to be sure he wasn’t seeing things. Franco came in last.

“You’re awake.”

I nodded.

“Oh my!” The cartel was something else. He touched my hands and feel them.

“I’m fine.”

“I knew it.” Time for him to boast, and he was doing just that. Franco was the perfect person that he could pull away to tell everything he had to say and he was ready to listen to him.

“You should check if everything is alright now.” Creamy

“I’ll do just that.” He moved to me and took my hand. Insert some needles in there. I flinched a bit. What should I expect, I was back here again. I faced the seer. There was a lot I had to ask him but I would’ve to save most of the questions I’d to ask him.

“It seems the moon goddess had been merciful on our lands, and the new dawn we talked about has begun.”

“There won’t be any if she doesn’t wake.” His dim eyes went to me.

“We’ve got a cure for every sick wolf. Most had recovered because of her. And in the past few days, there had been light in the pack..”

“How many days has she been there?”

“Two days now..”

“How long do we’ve to wait for her to wake up.”

“She was injured, we just came from there and her parents complained of her bleeding.”

“Does that have an effect?”

“It does.”

“But she’s gonna wake.”

“You seem certain Alpha.”

“Not after everything she went through, she won’t wanna wake, I don’t think that’s...Ouch, that hurts!” I whined as he pulled out the needles.

“That’s the alpha’s body, you should be careful.”

“I’m sorry Alpha.”

I waved him off with my hands. I was fine, there was no need to pressure things.

“I’m so glad you’re alright Alpha. I’ll take my leave now. I need to attend to the Luna.”

I nods at him and sat upright on the bed. I was awake and now she wasn’t. So I had to wait for her just like she had done to me.

It was crazy.

“The pack members would be excited to see you. Won’t you set up a meeting and began the new season.”

I wasn’t even interested in it. My thoughts were on her. If there could be something I could do to help her.

“Can we talk about the meeting some other time? I need to see my Luna.”

I smiled. Standing up from the bed.

“You’ve something to say to me. You’ve been staring at me and I can see you do. What’s it about.” I was putting on my shirt. I caught a glimpse of the three musketeers guffawing over whatever they found funny. They seem to have a lot of things to say.

“What do you’ve to say to me?”

“I don’t want to hide anything from you..”

“Tell me what is it..”

“You should know about it Alpha.”

I sat down back on the bed. And waited for him to say what he’d to say to me. The reason he’d that look on his face.

The door opened once more and I waited for whoever was coming in, should come in. The seer moved away from the side which was hindering my views.

A little boy came in at first and then a woman followed behind her. I stood up from the bed when the face became quite familiar. The face I hadn’t seen for a long time since I left the pack.

“What’s this seer, a surprise.”

“Your son alpha.”

My lips pursed, and my breathing was quick.

“What did you say?”

“He’s your son, Alpha..”
