My joy continued to course through my veins on my walk home. The ache that had been in my shoulder and back throbbed. I decided to make my way to the pack hospital wing and see if my mother could check it out. I reached up and rubbed it but it was hot to the touch. That wasn't a good sign.

I made it to the hospital and opened the door. Sitting there is Tracy and Jake. Jake had a splint on his arm and a bruise on his cheek. Tracy had tear streaks in her cheeks. Her eyes were puffy and red.

"Jake here had a little fight with the other pack boys," my father said and looked at a picture of a X-Ray. I could not see a break in the arm. "Jake you have a hair line fracture in your arm. You're going to have to have a cast for a week," he said and walked over to them.

"Jake, what happened?" I asked.
