lynching

Julian's POV

There are times I despise being the only bachelor in the family but again I wouldn't be in this predicament if she didn't betray me even Milena left.

My emails have been rolling in for weeks now so I don't bother checking them anymore. I need time to process what Milena meant by being unworthy of her. I never thought I would actually love someone. With Milena, everything is heightened. I feel like she's the missing part of me.

I get to experience the cupid love. I'd give my best. In the end, it wasn't enough. Maybe I should go back to my old ways.

I was still contemplating when the jerk that was conniving to hurt Lena stepped in. I quickly pick a menu and headed to his table not before I dropped a glass of champagne in his stead.

" On the house" he flicks a finger at me urging me to take a seat beside him. I couldn't agree more. I hope he's a talkative.

" A good day huh?" I asked meeting his unruly eyes. Is he drunk? There's only one way to find out.
