Who was He?

Milena's POV

Voices. Distorted voices. They were arguing about something inaudible but I can tell it was a heated discussion. It may be incoherent but it was close. Very close.

I tried to open my heavy eyelids cos their discussion was causing me a headache. It was hard at first but I successfully did. The first thing I noticed was the beeping sound of machines that were attached to my hands and a cannula on my wrist.

I was in a hospital.

" Milena? Dad, Mom! She's awake" that's Isabella's voice. Isn't she supposed to be at home getting ready for her engagement? Why am I in a hospital?

I remember, that I was attacked by unknown gunmen on my way home and I ran into a pillar in my attempt to escape. My bodyguards were killed then all of a sudden, men in black suits appeared to defend me. I was knocked out by one of them. It's obvious they didn't want me to see their faces. They must have brought me here. There was someone familiar with them but I didn't see his face.
