"Yes, we are both fine, but Veer, are you hurt anywhere?" Jack asked with concern. Aisa chimed in, "Yes, Veer, please tell us if you're okay."
"No, I'm not hurt badly. The guild leader gave me a recovery medicine, which helped remove the effects of the forbidden medicine I took," Veer reassured them, explaining his condition.
Aisa then turned to Dharam and inquired, "Dharam, have you found the murderer we were searching for?" Dharam nodded in response and replied, "Enough talking for now. Let's rest and earn money by selling the Source Stones we collected from the monsters we killed." After hearing Dharam's words, Veer nodded in agreement. They proceeded to the camp area building together.
When Veer and his companions from the Fire of Magic guild arrived at the building, they were amazed to see robots and A.I. machines assisting people. These robots were the same size as humans and had a texture, appearance, and color resembling humans. Veer could distinguish them from humans because he could sense the energy of the Source Stones within them. As Veer looked around, he noticed some actual humans as well. When he attempted to sense their energy, he suddenly felt a terrible aura emanating from his own body, causing him to take two steps back. Without delay,
Dhuvar came to Veer's aid and said, "Are you alright?"
"Veer, are you okay?" Dhuvar quickly noticed the direction Veer was looking and understood the situation. "You shouldn't openly investigate anyone like that. It can cause you to get scared or even put your life at risk. If you decide to probe an enemy's aura, and they happen to be more powerful than you, they could use that aura to kill you," Dhuvar explained to Veer. "But don't worry, Veer. You have no reason to be afraid of that aura. He only frightened you because he saw that you're just a rank 1 warrior. He purposely reduced his aura to intimidate you," Dhuvar assured him.
Veer understood Dhuvar's explanation, but a question arose in his mind. He asked, "Sir, how did those people develop such an aura?"
Upon hearing Veer's question, Dhuvar rubbed his face with his hand and sighed. He then proceeded to inform Veer, "Veer, those people are not ordinary individuals. Some of them are from the army, while others belong to the Battle Mages Alliance. Their ranks are estimated to be around 7 or 8, indicating that they are incredibly powerful. They have been stationed here to keep a watchful eye on us warriors and magicians. If anyone attempts to cause trouble or start a riot in this camp area building, they are authorized to imprison or even kill them directly. So, Veer, always remember not to disturb them under any circumstances," Dhuvar emphasized.
"Understood, sir. I will be cautious," Veer responded, acknowledging Dhuvar's advice.
Afterwards, they all made their way towards the Trade reception area. It took them about 5 to 6 minutes to reach their destination, and upon arrival, they found the reception area bustling with activity. Numerous people were waiting their turn, including Veer and his friends from the Fire of Magic guild. Ravi and Dhruv excused themselves, suggesting that the rest of them find something to occupy themselves with while waiting. Consequently, only Veer, Aisa, Jack, Karv, Dharam, and Rohan remained.
While everyone else patiently awaited their turn, Veer, being unfamiliar with the place, began observing his surroundings. He noticed a robot distributing food to the people seated in the waiting area. Seeing this, an unintended pang of hunger struck Veer, and he instinctively placed his hand on his stomach.
"Hmm, I haven't eaten since yesterday. Ever since I developed that golden core, my need for mana and internal energy has increased beyond that of an average warrior or magician," Veer contemplated. "When I first began meditating, it only took me two days to become a rank 1 warrior and magician. However, it has been six days now, and I am still at rank 1. Although my current strength corresponds to rank 2 among warriors and rank 3 among magicians, if someone were to check my true rank, they would only see me as a rank 1 warrior or magician," he reflected.
Veer further ruminated on the mysterious golden orb within him, acknowledging its connection to his mental abilities. "I haven't utilized them in combat yet, but I did employ them while collecting the source stones from those demon wolves," he mused silently.
Karv, sitting beside Veer, noticed him rubbing his stomach and offered a warm smile. Then, he pressed a button located near his chair. After a brief moment, a robot approached Karv with a tray of food. Karv took the food from the robot and handed it to Veer, urging him to eat and satisfy his hunger.
Veer's face lit up with gratitude as he realized that Karv had ordered food for him. He gladly accepted the meal and began to eat. In the midst of savoring the food, Veer noticed his waiting ticket number being displayed on the screen. With determination, he finished his food swiftly and proceeded forward, accompanied by his companions.
"Hello, sir. How can I assist you?" a boy in a soft voice asked Veer and his companions.
"We have come here to sell some source stones," Dharam informed the receptionist.
"Alright, sir. How many source stones do you have? You can give them to me, and I will provide you with their market rate," the receptionist replied.
With a thump, a bag was placed on the receptionist's counter. "Here are the source stones that we have found on this mission," Dharam informed the receptionist.
Veer, who was observing the scene, realized that he was new to this place and knew nothing about the transaction. He remained silent while Karv, Aisa, Jack, and Rohan, who were experienced in such matters, sent Dharam to handle the conversation.
The receptionist was taken aback by the large bag and stammered, "Sir, may I know the rank of the source stones you have?"
