Chapter 116: Frozen Tower

The cold air hit Raven as he crossed the threshold into the tower. The interior was starkly different from the bustling activity outside.

The silence was eerie, broken only by his echoing footsteps. The walls were adorned with intricate ice carvings.

This was the first floor, which appeared like a frozen wonderland. The ice sculptures depicted intricate scenes of nature, with each delicate detail catching the minimal light that filtered through the tall windows.

However, everything here was a hundred times colder than outside. Even though Raven had gained some resistance to cold, but he still felt a shiver run down his spine as he moved further into the hall.

From what he heard, the first trial was the simplest, but it was also the hardest for many people who couldn't bear the cold. To pass the first trial, a person simply had to spend half an hour on the first floor, in a cold that could even freeze a person's blood.
