Are You Here To Mock Me?

The thunderous applause filled the air, and the overwhelming support from the crowd made Irina and Cecilia's victory even more surreal. They exchanged grateful glances, their eyes reflecting a shared sense of triumph and gratitude.

The host presented Irina and Cecilia with a magnificent trophy, a symbol of their hard-earned victory. The audience erupted in applause, acknowledging their exceptional talent and applauding their well-deserved triumph.

With beaming smiles, Irina and Cecilia held the trophy high above their heads, a tangible representation of their dedication and success. The stage lights shone upon them, illuminating their joy and accomplishment.

As the event drew to a close, the victorious duo made their way backstage, reveling in the euphoria that enveloped them. Amidst the whirlwind of excitement and the shower of congratulatory words, Irina and Cecilia caught sight of Alan patiently waiting for them.

Their faces instantly lit up, their eyes shimmering with a mixture of pride and gratitude.

Irina's eyes sparkled as she approached Alan, unable to resist the urge to give him a tight hug. Cecilia followed suit, their excitement momentarily overpowering any sense of embarrassment.

"Alan, we've done it!" Irina exclaimed, her voice resonating with sheer delight. "We have emerged as the winners! Can you believe it?"

Alan, though a bit taken aback by the sudden hug, couldn't help but smile. "Congratulations, you two! I always believed in your talent and knew you had what it takes to come out on top."

Cecilia released the hug, her cheeks slightly flushed. "Thank you, Alan!"

Irina also released her arms after a bit. Unlike Cecilia, it was less embarrassing for her as it was nothing new.

Irina couldn't contain her excitement any longer and playfully nudged Alan's arm. "Hey, Alan, can you believe it? We actually won! We rocked that stage!"

Alan laughed, his eyes gleaming with joy.

"Senior Irina! Senior Cecilia! Congratulations on your victory!"

Mia finally interjected. She had been beside Alan from the start but had been ignored as they seemed to be in their own world and Mia also didn't want to interrupt them.

It was the moment for the three of them who actually worked hard for the victory. She only opened her mouth after the three of them calmed down and offered her congratulations..

Amidst their joyful conversation, Alan spotted Composer Jules along with Jun and Mina. They seemed to have also noticed them.

Composer Jules no longer was as arrogant as before. Jun glared at them with his hateful eyes. On the other hand, Mina had a bit of a sad expression on her face but nothing more than that.

Alan had a devise smile on his face as he glared back at them.

"Wait here for a while!"

Alan said as he headed towards Composer Jules. Why? Of course to listen to what he had said after talking about winning and kicking him out of the company.

As Alan approached, Composer Jules and Jun's expressions twisted with a mix of envy and resentment. The defeat had humbled them, but it hadn't extinguished their arrogance entirely.

"Composer Jules, how do you feel now? Are you still happy, arrogant, and proud? Still want to kick me out?" Alan's voice was calm yet laced with amusement.

Composer Jules' eyes were bloodshot as he stared at Alan, his voice trembling with anger. "Are you here to mock me?"

Alan nodded, a hint of amusement in his expression. "You're quite smart! You've figured it out. Yes, I'm here to mock you, plain and simple."

Alan chuckled.

"I recall someone boasting about winning the competition and getting me fired. Unfortunately, that person turned out to be an idiot and failed miserably at achieving the first promise. I'm still waiting for the second declaration, though I doubt whether you have the ability to do that."

Composer Jules glared at Alan with seething hatred but found himself lost for words. His earlier grandeur had been shattered, leaving him humiliated.

"Jules, in the future, try not to be so arrogant. Learn to be humble. Everyone knows how to brag, but only a few can back it up with victory," Alan stated calmly, his smile unwavering.

Composer Jules' face turned furious, consumed by humiliation. Did he really need a 16-year-old boy to teach him how to conduct himself?

"Who do you think you are? You're not worthy to mock me!"

How could he who is respected by even idols be humiliated like this? Was there even a single time that he needed to endure such humiliation?

"I didn't lose to you! I only lost to the songwriter of 'Heart's Embrace.' You just happened to be friends with the composer," Composer Jules spat out, his voice laced with resentment.

Alan's smile widened as he looked straight into Composer Jules' eyes. "Oh, Composer Jules, always full of excuses, aren't you? Blaming others instead of accepting your own shortcomings. That's the mark of a true sore loser."

Composer Jules clenched his fists, his face red with anger. "This is not over! I will show everyone that I am the best composer!"

"The best composer? Nice joke! Next time, try to come up with something realistic."

Alan replied. The possibility of Composer Jules becoming the best composer was slim to none. He is already old and the most he could produce is an advanced quality song. If he kept on writing, he might be able to produce one or two excellent quality songs but this is not enough to be the Best Composer.

Composer Jules gritted his teeth, his anger palpable. "You'll regret this, Alan. Mark my words!"

Alan chuckled, unfazed by the threat. "I highly doubt that, Jules. But feel free to prove me wrong. I'll be waiting."

With a smirk, Alan turned and walked back to where Irina, Cecilia, and Mia were waiting.

As for Jun, Alan didn't even take him seriously from the start. Jun could only just clenched his hands in anger as Alan humiliated Composer Jules.

Jun's Manager also glared at Alan but didn't interfere with their conversation. They just watched as Alan humiliated them and walked away.

Irina's eyes widened as she saw Alan's confident demeanor. "What did you say to him, Alan?"

Alan shrugged playfully. "Just a friendly reminder to stay humble and accept defeat gracefully. It seems he still has a lot to learn."

Cecilia nodded in agreement. "That's right! They dare to say bad things about you."

Mia chimed in, her voice filled with admiration. "You really put him in his place, Alan. He must be quite angry!"

Alan smiled warmly at his friends.

"Let's not dwell on them anymore. We have a lot to celebrate tonight!"
