Chapter 58

The boys finally reached the mansion, their minds still reeling from the encounter with Hyun-soo. As they entered, they were immediately met by the three girls who had been waiting impatiently for their return.

"Where have you been?" Yoo-jin demanded, her arms crossed as she glared at Seokjin. "You were supposed to spend time with us!"

Soo-jin pouted, clinging to Hoseok's arm. "Yeah, oppa, we were worried. What were you doing?"

Ji-min, though quieter, still expressed her discontent with a disapproving look aimed at Taehyung. "You promised to help me with my shopping today."

The older boys exchanged resigned glances, knowing there was no easy way out of this interrogation. "We had some business to take care of," Seokjin said diplomatically, trying to placate Yoo-jin. "It won't happen again."

"Business? What kind of business?" Soo-jin pressed, her eyes narrowing suspiciously.

"It's nothing you need to worry about," Hoseok replied, attempting to keep his tone light. "Just some gang matters."

Taehyung offered Ji-min a reassuring smile. "I'll make it up to you tomorrow, okay?"

Satisfied for the moment, the girls allowed their fiancés a reprieve, albeit reluctantly. The other boys took this opportunity to slip away and get to work leaving the three boys alone with the girls. They headed to their play room, where they had set up their surveillance and information-gathering equipment.

Jimin activated their main computer, and the screen flickered to life, displaying a wealth of data from their extensive network of informants. "Let's see what we can find on Hyun-soo," he said, his fingers flying over the keyboard.

Within minutes, they had a detailed profile of the man who had so effortlessly commanded the hunters.

**Hyun-soo:**

- **Age:** 44

- **Public Identity:** CEO of Syntek Pharmaceuticals, a leading company known for its groundbreaking medical research and innovations.

- **Secret Identity:** A shadowy figure in the criminal underworld, known as "The Oracle" for his unparalleled ability to gather and control information. He holds dossiers on countless individuals and organizations, making him a powerful and dangerous adversary.

"He runs Syntek Pharmaceuticals as a front," Yoongi said, reading over Namjoon's shoulder. "But in the shadows, he's 'The Oracle.' That's why he's so dangerous—he knows everything about everyone."

Jungkook leaned in, his brow furrowed. "So, he's not just any mafia boss. He can dig up dirt on anyone and use it to his advantage. That explains why he knew about us so quickly."

"Exactly," Namjoon replied, his voice tense. "And if he's interested in us, it means we're on his radar now. We need to be careful."

The boys continued their discussion, curiosity gnawing at them. "Why are they targeting just our Cinq team?" Jungkook asked, a frown creasing his forehead. "What's so special about little ones? "

Namjoon, aware of the true reason but unable to reveal their hybrid identities, quickly diverted the conversation. "It's probably because we're the most prominent team," he said. "We've made a name for ourselves, and that attracts attention—both good and bad. So maybe they are targeting our smaller team to blackmail us. For now, let's focus on gathering more intel and fortifying our defenses."

The other boys nodded, though a sense of unease lingered. They trusted Namjoon, but the unanswered questions weighed heavily on their minds. Namjoon knew he needed to keep them busy to prevent further probing into the hybrid issue. "Jungkook, Taehyun, I need you to check our security systems. Yoongi, Jimin, let's look into potential alliances. We need all the support we can get."

As they dispersed to their tasks, the other three boys—Seokjin, Hoseok, and Taehyung—were left to deal with their increasingly troublesome fiancées. The girls were relentless in their demands, their entitled attitudes pushing the boys to their limits.

"Seokjin-oppa, I need you to fix my dress. It's ruined!" Yoo-jin whined, holding up a barely visible tear in her expensive gown.

Hoseok was cornered by Soo-jin, who demanded, "Why haven't you taken me out shopping yet? You promised!"

Meanwhile, Ji-min pestered Taehyung with complaints about the mansion's decor, insisting he redecorate the entire place to her liking. "This place is so drab. Can't you do something about it?"

The boys' patience wore thin, their nerves frayed by the constant barrage of complaints and demands. They exchanged weary glances, feeling abandoned and unsupported by their brothers, who were preoccupied with more pressing matters.

Seokjin, finally reaching his breaking point, let out a heavy sigh. He stood up and faced the girls, his expression stern. "Enough," he said firmly, his voice cutting through their complaints. "My brothers and I need rest. We've had a long day, and we can't keep catering to your every whim."

Yoo-jin's eyes widened in surprise, and Soo-jin's mouth fell open in shock. Ji-min looked taken aback, as if no one had ever spoken to them this way before.

"We're going to our rooms," Seokjin continued, his tone leaving no room for argument. "You can handle your own issues for a while."

Hoseok and Taehyung, relieved to have Seokjin take the lead, quickly followed his example. The three boys left the girls standing in stunned silence and retreated to the shared room where the others were working.

As they entered, the younger boys looked up, sensing the tension and exhaustion radiating from their hyungs. "Are you guys okay?" Jimin asked, concern etched on his face.

Seokjin managed a tired smile. "We're fine. Just needed a break from the chaos."

Yoongi glanced at them, guilt flickering in his eyes. He knew they had left their brothers to deal with the girls on their own, and it weighed heavily on him. "We're in this together," he said quietly. "We'll figure out a way to handle everything."

The room fell into a comfortable silence as they all got to work, united in their determination to protect each other and their home. Despite the challenges and the unknown dangers ahead, they knew they had each other's backs. And that was enough to give them the strength to keep fighting.

The boys gathered around the large table in their shared room, a sense of urgency in the air as they began to discuss their next steps. Namjoon pulled up the information they had gathered on Hyun-soo, projecting it onto a large screen for everyone to see.

"Alright," Namjoon began, pointing to the profile of Hyun-soo. "We know he's the CEO of Syntek Pharmaceuticals and operates in the shadows as 'The Oracle.' His strength lies in his vast network of information. He knows almost everything about everyone, which makes him incredibly dangerous."

Yoongi leaned forward, studying the screen. "But every powerful figure has their weaknesses. We need to find out what they are and exploit them."

Taehyung nodded in agreement. "What about his right-hand and left-hand men? Do we have any intel on them?"

Namjoon clicked through the files, bringing up detailed profiles of Hyun-soo's closest confidants. "Yes, we do. Let's start with his right-hand man, Kang Dae-jung."

**Kang Dae-jung:**

- **Age:** 38

- **Role:** Right-hand man to Hyun-soo, often referred to as "The Enforcer."

- **Skills:**

- Expert in hand-to-hand combat and various martial arts.

- Proficient with a wide range of weapons, particularly knives and small firearms.

- Highly strategic thinker, known for his ability to plan and execute complex operations.

- **Character:**

- Ruthless and efficient, Dae-jung is known for his unwavering loyalty to Hyun-soo and his willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve their goals.

- He is cold and calculating, rarely showing emotion, which makes him a formidable opponent.

- Despite his intimidating presence, he is also highly respected by those who work under him for his fairness and clear judgment.

Namjoon switched to the next profile. "And this is his left-hand man, Lee Min-ho."

**Lee Min-ho:**

- **Age:** 36

- **Role:** Left-hand man to Hyun-soo, often called "The Shadow."

- **Skills:**

- Master hacker and cyber warfare expert.

- Skilled in intelligence gathering and espionage, able to infiltrate secure systems and gather critical information.

- Adept at surveillance and counter-surveillance techniques.

- **Character:**

- Unlike Dae-jung, Min-ho is more subtle and prefers to work behind the scenes.

- He is extremely intelligent and cunning, with a knack for predicting his enemies' moves.

- Known for his quiet demeanor, he can blend into any environment and go unnoticed, making him an invaluable asset for covert operations.

Jungkook frowned as he absorbed the information. "So we have a combat expert and a tech genius. That's quite the combination."

Hoseok rubbed his temples, feeling the weight of their situation. "We need to be careful. These guys are skilled and dangerous, and they're bound to be watching our every move."

Jimin leaned back in his chair, deep in thought. "We need to find a way to divide and conquer. If we can isolate them from Hyun-soo, we might have a better chance."

Taehyung nodded. "Min-ho might be the key. If we can disrupt his cyber capabilities, it'll weaken their overall strategy."

"Agreed," Namjoon said. "But we can't underestimate Dae-jung either. He's likely to be the one leading the direct assaults, so we need to be prepared for that."

Yoongi looked around the room, determination in his eyes. "We're going to need to play this smart. Gather more intel, strengthen our defenses, and look for any weaknesses we can exploit. Hyun-soo and his men might be powerful, but they're not invincible."

As the boys continued to strategize, a renewed sense of purpose filled the room. They knew the road ahead would be tough, but with their combined strengths and unwavering bond, they were ready to face whatever challenges came their way.

The discussion in the main room continued, filled with strategic plans and urgent whispers about Hyun-soo. But amidst the chaos, Seokjin couldn't ignore the growing weight on his heart. He watched Namjoon talking and smiling along with the Cinq team. And when he thought carefully about the recent days, he realizes that Namjoon has become more close to the Cinq members. And this was troubling him a lot. Maybe jealous??!!

"Namjoon," Seokjin said softly, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Can we talk? In private?"

Namjoon looked up, slightly surprised but nodded. "Sure," he replied, standing up. "Let's go to my room."

The two of them left the main room and walked down the hallway to Namjoon's room, the nearest and most private space available. Once inside, Namjoon closed the door behind them, leaning against it with a tired sigh.

"What's on your mind, Jin?" Namjoon asked, trying to keep his voice even.

Seokjin took a deep breath, trying to find the right words. "Namjoon, I've noticed that you've been paying a lot of attention to the cinq team lately. You seem so focused on them, and it feels like you're not paying attention to us… to me."

Namjoon frowned slightly. "Jin, the cinq team needs more help right now. They've got so much on their plate, and I didn't want to burden you guys with more problems."

"But it's more than that," Seokjin persisted, his voice trembling. "We've barely spent any time together. It's like you're avoiding me, avoiding us. When was the last time we had a moment alone?"

Namjoon tried to deflect, looking away. "There's no time for that, Jin. We're surrounded by enemies. We need to stay focused."

Seokjin stepped closer, his voice growing firmer. "Namjoon, this isn't just about the situation we're in. This is about us. Even when we had time, you were always so distant. Why?"

Namjoon's eyes flashed with frustration. "Why? You want to know why?" His voice rose, a rare occurrence for the usually composed maknae. "Because every time I tried to be close to you, you doubted me. You hurt me, Jin. I was always waiting for you to ask to spend time together, but you left me alone. You'd rather spend time with the others or bury yourself in work."

Seokjin's eyes widened in shock, taken aback by the intensity of Namjoon's words. "Namjoon, I… I didn't realize…"

"You never realized," Namjoon interrupted, his voice cracking with emotion. "Do you know how many times I waited for you? How many times I wished you would notice how much I cared? I was shy, yes, I never confessed to you or showed my feelings, but that didn't mean I didn't want to be with you. But every time, you pushed me away, doubted my intentions, and made me feel like I wasn't enough."

Tears welled up in Seokjin's eyes as Namjoon's words sank in. He had always seen Namjoon as the strong, silent type, never realizing the depth of his feelings or the pain he had caused him.

"Namjoon, I'm so sorry," Seokjin whispered, stepping closer. "I didn't mean to hurt you. I was just… I don't know… afraid, maybe. I was afraid of being vulnerable, of letting you in completely. But I never wanted to make you feel like you weren't enough."

Namjoon shook his head, wiping at his eyes angrily. "We're in the middle of a crisis, Jin. We don't have time for this right now. We need to focus on protecting everyone."

Seokjin reached out, gently taking Namjoon's hands in his. "I know, but we also need to protect what's important between us. We can't keep pushing each other away. I don't want to lose you, Namjoon."

Namjoon looked into Seokjin's eyes, seeing the sincerity and regret there. Slowly, his anger began to fade, replaced by a deep, aching sadness. "I don't want to lose you either, Jin. But we need to find a way to balance this. For now, our priority should be our members."

Seokjin was looking into Namjoon's eyes with a mixture of frustration and sadness. "How do you remember all of this? Do you remember everything now!!" He asked, his voice trembling with emotion.

Namjoon's expression hardened, a bitter edge to his voice. "I don't remember everything, Jin. But I know how I was treated. I wrote down each and every thing in my mobile diary."

Seokjin's eyes widened in surprise. "You... you kept a diary? Why didn't you ever tell me?"

Namjoon let out a harsh laugh, devoid of any humor. "Because you never cared to ask. You were too busy doubting me or ignoring me. I have lost my life due to you many times. And still you ignored them like a small mistake. I know that my constant personality changing and then my memory problems were there, but that doesn't mean you can do or say anything.Do you know how many nights I spent alone, waiting for you to notice me, to care? I have spent many nights just for your support because I myself was doubting whether I killed someone innocent. But instead of helping me to overcome my own doubts, you yourself doubted me for killing an innocent. Did you even care for me? Was I ever a part of this team? A part of this family? "

Tears welled up in Seokjin's eyes. "Namjoon, I never meant to make you feel like that. I was just... I was afraid. Afraid of getting hurt, getting you hurt, afraid of the consequences."

Namjoon shook his head, his anger barely contained. "Well, congratulations, Jin. You succeeded in hurting me instead. All those moments I wanted to be with you, to share something special, you left me alone. You always had something more important to do, someone else to be with."

Seokjin reached out, trying to touch Namjoon's arm, but he pulled away. "Namjoon, please, let's talk about this. I want to make it right."

Namjoon stepped back, his eyes cold. "It's too late for that. We're surrounded by enemies, Jin. And you're worried about us? When we had the time to be together, you threw it away. Now, I can't afford to waste any more time on this."

The words struck Seokjin like a physical blow. "Namjoon, don't say that. I care about you, I love you..."

Namjoon cut him off, his voice rising. "Do you? Because it sure didn't feel like it. You always left me hanging, always made me feel like I wasn't enough..like I wasn't wanted. And now you want to talk about love?"

Seokjin was silent, tears streaming down his face. He could see the pain in Namjoon's eyes, the depth of his hurt.

Namjoon took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "I don't have time for this, Jin. I have responsibilities, people who rely on me. Unlike you, I don't get to choose when to care."

With that, Namjoon turned and dashed out of the room in anger, leaving Seokjin standing there, baffled and heartbroken. The reality of their situation crashed down on him—Namjoon had changed. The Namjoon who would get shy from a single glimpse now wouldn't care if they didn't speak for days. The bond they once shared felt irreparably broken, and Seokjin was left standing alone, realizing the depth of the damage done and the heartbreaking distance now between them.

Yoongi and Hoseok exchanged a glance as they watched Namjoon head down to the gym. They knew something was off; Namjoon's stride was too rigid, his expression too stern. Their intuition told them that the discussion that had just taken place was far from simple. As they turned a corner, they found Seokjin standing like a statue, his face a mask of confusion and distress.

Yoongi was the first to break the silence. "Hyung, what happened? What did you say to him?"

Seokjin's eyes were filled with unshed tears. "He doesn't want me… He doesn't like me, Yoongi-ah. He doesn't want any close relationship with me..with us... What am I supposed to do now?"

Yoongi placed a firm hand on Seokjin's shoulder, attempting to ground him. "Jin hyung, calm down. How can you talk like this? You're the mafia king. You can't afford to be this weak. We will make him understand !"

But Hoseok's expression was darker, his anger more evident. "How can you say that, Yoongi? It was Jin hyung and our fault that Namjoon is angry. He has every right to be upset. We should be thankful that he's even staying with us. This is our chance to make things right."

The guilt in Seokjin's voice was palpable. "Hobi is right. It was all our fault. We should have talked with him, discussed things with him. But instead, we left him alone. We blamed him, hurt him, and abandoned him. It's our fault. It's my fault," he said, his voice breaking as tears finally spilled down his cheeks.

Meanwhile, in the gym, Namjoon was relentlessly pounding away at the punching bag. Each punch was fueled by a whirlwind of emotions. His mind was a tempest of anger and betrayal.

"We are surrounded by enemies, and now he has the nerve to talk about us," Namjoon muttered to himself, each word punctuated by a powerful jab. "Where was he when I was all alone, blamed for things I didn't do? The Cinq team found evidence of my innocence, and still, he has the nerve to ask why I'm closer to them! They've only known me for a month, and they trust me more than those who have been with me for two years. And now he has the nerve to ask why I'm not friendly with them!"

Namjoon's mind raced back to the moments of isolation he endured. He remembered the notes of the diary about how the cold stares, the whispered accusations, and the overwhelming loneliness. He may not remember but he knows why he feels distant with them. The Cinq team had been a breath of fresh air, offering him the trust and camaraderie he desperately needed. The cinq team helped him and he does not remember any of them but he likes to spend time with them more. It may be because they are also hybrids but it may also be because they don't try to find fault in him. In contrast, his supposed friends had turned their backs on him, leaving him to fend for himself.

The sound of the gym door opening barely registered in Namjoon's mind. It was Yoongi, followed closely by Hoseok, who had finally gathered enough courage to face him.

"Namjoon," Yoongi called out, his voice steady but filled with concern. "We need to talk."

Namjoon stopped his assault on the punching bag and turned to face them, his chest heaving, sweat dripping down his face. "What is there to talk about?" he asked bitterly. "More excuses? More apologies?"

Hoseok stepped forward, his eyes sincere. "No, Namjoon. No more excuses. We came to apologize and to admit our mistakes. We wronged you, and we know it. We're here to make things right."

Namjoon's expression softened slightly, but his guard was still up. "Why now? Why should I believe you?"

Seokjin, who had silently entered the gym, finally spoke up. His voice was raw with emotion. "Because we can't lose you, Namjoon. You're more than just a team member to us. You're family. Our soulmate. And we failed you. We're ready to do whatever it takes to earn back your trust."

Namjoon looked at the three men standing before him, each one reflecting genuine remorse. He took a deep breath, steadying himself. "I appreciate your words, but it's too late for that. When I lost my memory, I needed support and encouragement because I wasn't sure of myself. Now, I know exactly what I'm capable of. I don't need your support anymore. I'll be independent from now on. I'll see how the future unfolds and let fate decide. For now, consider me a lone agent. I'll stay, but only because it's necessary. Just know that trust isn't something you can easily regain."

Seokjin was about to say something more when Hoseok gently but firmly grabbed his arm. "Hyung, let's go. There's no point in pushing this further right now." Seokjin hesitated, then nodded, his shoulders slumping as they left Namjoon alone in the gym.

Back in the playroom, the other boys were waiting anxiously. Taehyung was the first to speak up. "What happened? Where did you two go? Where is Joonie? "

Yoongi gave a tired sigh. "We had a personal discussion. That's all. Ummm.....The meeting ends here. Everyone take a break."

Jimin, sensing the tension, asked softly, "Is all okay?"

Hoseok shook his head slightly. "Not really.Namjoon he....he needs some space. The Cinq team can help him more right now. They've been a positive influence on him, and it's better if they're the ones to support him."

"Why the Cinq team?" Jungkook asked, confused.

Hoseok explained, "Namjoon lost his memories with us. All he knows by reading his diary of him being isolated and blamed. His anger is doubled up because he read about all that he experienced. He does not know the exact situation so...he needs someone who can help him without the baggage of the past. That's why it should be the Cinq team. If we try to help, it'll only make things worse."

Yoongi nodded in agreement. "Hoseok is right. We'd be like salt in his wounds right now. He needs a fresh start."

The younger boys exchanged glances and nodded. "Okay," said Taehyun determination in his eyes. "We'll go to the gym and practice with him. We'll try to be there for him without pushing too hard."

"Good," Hoseok said, relieved. "Just be there for him. Don't push him to talk. Let him take the lead."

As the younger boys left for the gym, Yoongi and Hoseok turned to the remaining members. "We need to come clean about what happened," Yoongi said. "Namjoon has decided to be independent from now on. He doesn't want our support. He feels betrayed and wants to see how things go on his own."

Seokjin, who had been silent, finally spoke up, his voice barely a whisper. "It's my fault. I should have been there for him. I failed him."

Yoongi shook his head. "It's all of us, hyung. We all played a part in this. What matters now is how we move forward."

As they sat in the playroom, the weight of their collective guilt hung heavy in the air. Seokjin's mind was a whirlwind of regret, blaming himself for everything that had gone wrong. The path to redemption seemed uncertain, but they knew they had to try—if not for themselves, then for the sake of the family they once were.

Namjoon was heavily punching the bag, his eyebrows furrowed as he thought deeply. Yeonjun and Soobin saw this and sighed.

"Hyung, wanna have a one-on-five battle?" Yeonjun called out, trying to lighten the mood.

Namjoon stopped, taking a deep breath. Then he smiled and said, "Why not?"

Taehyun, noticing the tension in Namjoon's posture, added, "Hyung, you don't need to hide your feelings in front of us. We're a team, and we support each other."

Namjoon's smile softened hearing this. "I'm okay," he said, though the gratitude in his eyes was clear.

Hueningkai whispered, "How about we battle in hybrid style?"

The others got excited at the suggestion, but Namjoon raised a hand. "We need a place where no one can see us."

Taehyun's eyes lit up. "There's a special room made for fighting underground. It's a private room where we can talk and fight. It's password-protected. The password changes every time someone enters, so it's safe."

Namjoon nodded, intrigued. "I'd like to see that. Let's go."

They headed to a lift connected to the gym, which descended to the -1 ground floor. When the doors opened, they were greeted by a high-tech room that was nothing short of impressive.

The room was spacious, with reinforced walls and floors designed to withstand intense physical combat. The lighting was adjustable, allowing for different training scenarios. Along one wall, a vast array of high-tech weapons was neatly displayed: laser guns, energy swords, and various other advanced weaponry, all securely locked in glass cases.

There were state-of-the-art training dummies that could simulate various fighting styles and opponents. In one corner, a sophisticated medical station was fully stocked with first-aid supplies and advanced medical equipment, ensuring that any injuries could be quickly treated.

A large screen dominated another wall, capable of displaying real-time stats, combat analytics, and tactical simulations. There were also several high-definition cameras installed around the room, providing multiple angles for reviewing and analyzing battles.

The room was equipped with a high-tech ventilation system, keeping the air fresh and at a comfortable temperature, no matter how intense the training session got. In another corner, there was a small relaxation area with comfortable seating and a mini-fridge stocked with energy drinks and water.

"Wow," Namjoon breathed, clearly impressed. "This is amazing."

Taehyun smiled. "We thought you'd like it. Ready to see our forms?"

Namjoon nodded, a determined glint in his eye. "Let's do this. But before that turn off the cameras. We can't afford to have a footage for such things. "

The others nodded and Kai turned off the cameras . As they prepared for the battle, the room buzzed with anticipation and excitement. Despite the underlying tension, there was a sense of camaraderie and unity. For a moment, Namjoon allowed himself to forget his troubles and focus on the present, surrounded by his teammates who were ready to support him no matter what.

Namjoon was the first to transform. Wolf ears popped out of his head, and a long, bushy tail unfurled behind him. His eyes glowed a bright, electric blue, casting an eerie yet captivating light in the high-tech room. The others were impressed by his form, admiring the raw power and grace he exuded.

Then, one by one, the five boys revealed themselves in front of another person for the first time.

"PUMAS!!"

In an instant, Yeonjun's ears elongated into sleek, pointed puma ears, and a muscular, agile tail appeared. His eyes glowed a deep, fiery red, a sign of his ability to manipulate and generate fire. He was the first to step forward, a confident grin on his face as flames danced at his fingertips.

Soobin's transformation was graceful yet powerful. His features morphed seamlessly into those of a puma, his ears becoming pointed and his tail swishing with controlled grace. His eyes shimmered with a deep, swirling turquoise, reflecting his mastery over water. Droplets gathered around his fingertips, swirling and dancing in sync with his serene yet formidable presence.

Beomgyu's shift was swift and enigmatic. His ears took on the sleek, pointed shape of a puma, and a shadowy tail materialized behind him, flickering with mysterious energy. His eyes darkened to a deep, intense violet, a manifestation of his ability to manipulate shadows. Dark tendrils coalesced around his hands, ready to ensnare and disorient his opponents with their eerie, shifting forms.

Taehyun's transformation was marked by a quiet intensity. His features transformed into those of a puma, his ears pointed and his tail powerful yet graceful. His eyes blazed with a vibrant golden hue, reflecting his control over energy. With focused precision, he raised his hands, and beams of golden light erupted forth, illuminating the room with dazzling brilliance as he channeled the raw power of his abilities.

Hueningkai's presence electrified the room as he transformed. His features shifted seamlessly into those of a puma, his ears pointed and his tail crackling with vibrant energy. His eyes glowed with a mesmerizing electric blue, reflecting his affinity for lightning and light. Sparks crackled around his fingertips, creating an aura of electrifying energy that danced and flickered with every movement, adding a dynamic spark to their team's formidable line up.

Namjoon's excitement was palpable. His wolf ears twitched, and his tail swayed with enthusiasm. "You guys look incredible," he said, his voice filled with admiration.

Yeonjun nodded, his fiery eyes glowing brighter. "Let's see what you've got, hyung."

They spread out, forming a loose circle around Namjoon. He took a deep breath, centering himself, and then the fight began.

Yeonjun was the first to make a move, flames erupting from his palms as he sent a wave of fire towards Namjoon. The intense heat filled the air, testing Namjoon's reflexes and control. With a swift motion, Namjoon summoned a gust of wind using his mind control abilities, deflecting the flames and dispersing them harmlessly around the room.

Soobin followed, his movements fluid and graceful as he manipulated water into swirling currents that surged towards Namjoon from multiple directions. The water danced in intricate patterns, challenging Namjoon's agility and spatial awareness with its unpredictable flow. Namjoon focused intensely, his senses heightened by his wolf-like instincts.

As the water closed in, Namjoon moved with deceptive speed and precision. With a swift dodge to the left, he avoided a torrential wave that crashed into the wall behind him, sending droplets scattering. In the next moment, he leaped gracefully over a spiraling vortex that threatened to engulf him from below.

In a blink of an eye, Namjoon closed the distance between himself and Yeonjun, who had been observing the battle from a safe distance. With a burst of energy, Namjoon surged forward, his tail swishing behind him as he closed the gap with lightning speed. The water, redirected by Namjoon's evasion, now surged towards Yeonjun, who responded instantly.

Yeonjun's hands ignited with fiery intensity as he conjured fireballs, each blazing with heat and ferocity. With precise timing, he intercepted the oncoming water with well-aimed fireballs, creating explosive bursts of steam that filled the air with a hiss and sizzle. The clash of elements echoed throughout the room, creating a dynamic display of power and strategy.

Namjoon landed smoothly behind Yeonjun, his blue eyes glowing brightly with satisfaction. He nodded in acknowledgment of Yeonjun's quick reflexes and control over fire.

"Soobin, impressive as always," Namjoon called out, his voice tinged with admiration. "But let's see how you handle this!"

With a flick of his tail, Namjoon sent a surge of telekinetic force towards Soobin, aiming to disrupt his focus and test his mastery over water. Soobin reacted swiftly, creating a protective barrier of swirling water around himself, deflecting Namjoon's telekinetic assault with controlled precision.

Taehyun bathed the battlefield in radiant light, casting dazzling beams that dazzled Namjoon's eyes and obscured his vision. The light twisted and refracted around the room, creating illusions and testing Namjoon's ability to discern reality from illusion. Namjoon closed his eyes, relying on his enhanced senses to detect Taehyun's true location. With a mental command, he created a shield of telekinetic energy that absorbed and dispersed the light beams before they could reach him.

Beomgyu, shrouded in shadows, moved silently through the darkness, his form blending seamlessly with the shadows cast by Taehyun's light. He appeared suddenly behind Namjoon, launching swift strikes and manipulating the shadows to confuse and disorient him. Namjoon spun around, his tail lashing out defensively as he focused his mind to dispel the darkness. With a surge of determination, he pushed Beomgyu back with a burst of telekinetic force, creating space between them.

Hueningkai crackled with electrical energy, sending bolts of thunder roaring across the room towards Namjoon. The thunderclaps echoed loudly, shaking the room and testing Namjoon's resilience against the powerful force of nature. Namjoon stood his ground, his fur bristling with static electricity as he absorbed and redirected the lightning strikes with precise telekinetic control, grounding the excess energy harmlessly into the floor.

Eventually, the fight reached a fever pitch, with all six combatants pushing their limits. Namjoon, now fully immersed in the battle, let out a primal roar, releasing a wave of energy that knocked the others back, ending the fight in a brilliant display of power.

Breathing heavily, Namjoon looked around at his teammates, who were equally exhausted but smiling. "That was amazing," he said, his voice filled with exhilaration. "You guys are incredible. If you attack all at once, I might not be able to hold on for long."

Yeonjun grinned, his flames flickering out as he relaxed. "You too, hyung. You've got some serious power."

Soobin nodded, while playing with water droplets. "We make a pretty good team."

Beomgyu, playing with Soobin's tail, laughed. "Yeah, we do."

Taehyun's golden eyes dimmed back to their normal color as he approached Namjoon. "Remember what I said, hyung. You don't have to hide your feelings from us. We're here for you."

Namjoon smiled, his ears twitching in agreement. "I know. Thank you, all of you."

Hueningkai, the last to revert to his normal form, placed a hand on Namjoon's shoulder. "We'll get through this together, hyung. No matter what."

As they stood in the high-tech room, surrounded by the remnants of their fierce battle, Namjoon felt a renewed sense of hope and camaraderie. Despite the challenges ahead, he knew he had a team he could rely on, and that made all the difference. Though his former team is what he wants, this new team is what he wants to protect.

After the intense battle, the boys took a moment to catch their breath and reflect on what had just transpired. The younger five boys, now back in their human forms but still buzzing with excitement, gathered around Namjoon.

"It's such a relief to finally be able to show our true selves," Yeonjun began, his voice filled with emotion. "We've had to hide our abilities and who we are for so long. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders."

Soobin nodded in agreement. "Every day, we had to pretend to be normal, to fit in. We couldn't talk about our powers, and it was exhausting. We were always on guard, afraid that someone might find out and judge us."

Beomgyu, usually the jokester of the group, looked serious for once. "I always felt like I was living a double life. It was so hard to be myself, knowing that I had to hide such a big part of who I am."

Taehyun chimed in, his golden eyes reflecting the sincerity in his words. "We've always supported each other, but there was always this fear in the back of our minds. What if someone found out? What if they didn't accept us? But now, with you, hyung, we feel like we can be ourselves completely."

Hueningkai, usually the quietest, spoke up with surprising intensity. "It was lonely, even when we were together. Because we couldn't share everything, there was always a part of us that felt isolated. But now, it feels like we're truly a team."

Namjoon listened intently, his heart aching for the struggles his teammates had endured. "I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that," he said, his voice full of empathy. "But I want you to know that even if I wasn't a hybrid, I would never have judged you. You're my brothers, and nothing can change that."

The boys smiled, their gratitude evident. "Thank you, hyung," Yeonjun said. "It means a lot to hear that from you."

Namjoon nodded. "And I assure you, our other brothers will feel the same way. They might be surprised at first, but they won't judge you."

Taehyun hesitated before speaking. "We're not so sure about Seokjin, though. He's always been... different when it comes to hybrids."

The atmosphere grew tense as Seokjin's name was mentioned. Namjoon frowned. "What do you mean?"

"Seokjin hyung has mentioned before that he had some negative experiences with hybrids in the past," Taehyun explained. "He never went into detail, but it was enough to make us worry."

Namjoon's eyes narrowed thoughtfully. "I see. Well, we need to understand where he's coming from. We can't let misunderstandings divide us. Tonight, we'll ask him about his past and get to the bottom of this."

The others nodded in agreement, feeling a mix of apprehension and determination. They knew that this conversation was necessary, not just for their own peace of mind but for the unity of their group.

As the boys continued to talk, they shared more about their experiences of hiding their true selves. They spoke of the fear that had gripped them every time they had to suppress their powers, the constant vigilance to ensure they didn't accidentally reveal their abilities in public. They recounted the moments of loneliness, even in the company of friends, because of the secrets they had to keep. Each story painted a picture of resilience and silent suffering.

"We've been through a lot," Soobin said quietly. "But we always had each other to lean on. And now, we have you too, Namjoon hyung."

Namjoon felt a surge of pride and responsibility. "We're in this together. No more hiding. We'll face whatever comes as a team."

The boys' resolve was strengthened by Namjoon's words. They knew the road ahead might not be easy, but they were ready to face it together. And with Namjoon leading the way, they felt more confident than ever.

As they prepared to leave the high-tech room, the sense of camaraderie was palpable. They had taken a significant step towards true unity, and they were ready to confront their past and embrace their future together.

Seokjin was lost in his thoughts about Namjoon, barely registering the presence of his fiancée, Yoo-Jin, who was clinging to him. The other two boys, Taehyung and Hoseok, were similarly distracted by the persistent chatter of their girlfriends. Seokjin sat on the cushion, Yoo-Jin draped over him, her constant rants buzzing in his ears. He tried to nod and murmur in the right places, but his mind was elsewhere.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Seokjin's patience snapped. He quickly stood up, causing Yoo-Jin to tumble slightly off balance. He was about to retreat to his room for some solitude when he saw Namjoon and the five younger boys entering the room. Namjoon's face was calm, without a trace of the anger Seokjin had feared.

"Hyung, let's eat," Namjoon said simply.

The sincerity and normalcy in Namjoon's voice hit Seokjin hard. He felt a lump in his throat and wanted to cry at Namjoon's forgiving nature, but he held back, aware of the audience around them. The three girls were still there, their presence grating on his nerves even more now. He needed to get rid of them, and fast.

The girls, noticing the newcomers, started complaining about their boredom and how they had already eaten. Seokjin saw his chance. With a calculated, seductive smile, he pulled out his card and handed it to Yoo-Jin. "Why don't you all go shopping? There's no limit on the card. Enjoy yourselves."

The girls' eyes lit up with excitement. They exchanged quick glances, then hurriedly grabbed their things and dashed out the door, heading for the car. Seokjin watched them go, a sense of relief washing over him as their voices faded.

Once the door closed behind them, Seokjin, Taehyung, and Hoseok all visibly relaxed. Seokjin let out a comical sigh of relief. "Finally, they're gone. We can breathe."

Taehyung chuckled, his usual mischievous grin returning. "They'll be out for a good three to four hours, at least."

Hoseok nodded, a wide smile spreading across his face. "We should make the most of this time."

Namjoon, observing the scene, couldn't help but smile at the drastic change in atmosphere. Despite the tension and unresolved issues, there was a momentary lightness that brought a sense of normalcy back to their interactions.

"Let's eat and then talk," Namjoon suggested, his tone gentle but firm.

The group moved towards the dining area, a silent understanding passing between them. They knew the conversation ahead might be difficult, but it was necessary. And for now, they could enjoy a brief reprieve from their worries, united in the simple act of sharing a meal.

After the meal, the boys decided to head to the playroom. For once, they wanted to engage in pure, carefree fun without the shadow of work or the weight of their responsibilities looming over them. The room was filled with the sound of controllers clicking, cheerful banter, and bursts of laughter as they immersed themselves in various video games.

They started with a lively round of Mario Kart, the screen filled with vibrant colors and fast-paced action. Yeonjun and Beomgyu were particularly competitive, their faces scrunched up in concentration as they tried to outdo each other. Namjoon, Seokjin, and the others cheered them on, the room echoing with their joyous shouts and playful taunts.

Next, they switched to a co-op game, where they had to work together to defeat waves of enemies. The atmosphere was electric, filled with camaraderie and the thrill of shared victory. Even Namjoon, usually more reserved, found himself caught up in the fun, his laughter mingling with the others as they celebrated each hard-fought win.

After an hour of non-stop gaming, the boys finally put down their controllers, still buzzing with the adrenaline of their games. They sprawled out on the couches and floor, their faces lit up with wide smiles and flushed with excitement.

Namjoon, still smiling, turned to Seokjin, his expression softening. "Hyung, that was great. It's been a while since we had this much fun. But there's something we need to talk about...about yourself."

The room fell silent, the playful atmosphere giving way to a more serious tone. Seokjin's smile faded as he met Namjoon's gaze, a sense of inevitability settling over him. He knew this moment was coming. He had hidden his past for seven years, and now it was time to reveal the truth.

Seokjin took a deep breath, his mind racing. "I know," he said quietly. "I've kept my past hidden for too long. You all deserve to know the truth."

The others shifted, sitting up and giving Seokjin their full attention. Jungkook nodded encouragingly. "We're here for you, hyung. Whatever it is, we're ready to listen."

Seokjin sat down, taking a deep breath to steady himself. The room was silent, the anticipation palpable. He began speaking, his voice heavy with the weight of the memories he was about to share.

I grew up in a world that seemed normal, at least to me. My father was a strong, silent man who commanded respect and fear, though I never understood why. My mother, on the other hand, was the embodiment of warmth and love. She was the center of our universe, the glue that held us together. It was clear my father adored her beyond measure; his entire demeanor softened in her presence.

Seokjin paused, his eyes distant as he recalled the past. "But everything changed one terrible day. I remember coming home from school, expecting to see my mother waiting for me with her warm smile. But she wasn't there. The house felt empty, and an ominous silence hung in the air. I found my father in his study, his face pale and eyes wide with panic. It was the first time I saw him like that."

"Father, what's wrong?" I asked, my voice trembling with fear.

He didn't respond at first, just kept staring at the phone in his hand. Then he looked at me, and for the first time, I saw fear in his eyes. "Your mother... she's been taken."

The world seemed to tilt on its axis. "What do you mean? Who took her?"

"I don't know," he said, his voice breaking. "But I'll find her, Jin. I'll bring her back."

Seokjin continued, his voice growing softer. "My father mobilized every resource he had. Men in suits came and went, there were hushed conversations, frantic phone calls. I realized then that my father was more than just a businessman. He was powerful, dangerous even. I learned that he was a mafia leader, a fact he had kept hidden from me all my life."

"The days that followed were a blur of fear and confusion. I watched my father transform into a man possessed, driven by desperation. He barely slept, barely ate, consumed by the search for my mother. And then, one night, when all hope seemed lost, she returned."

Seokjin's eyes glistened with unshed tears. "It was past midnight when I heard a noise at the door. I ran to see what it was, and there she was, standing in the doorway. She looked so fragile, so different from the strong, vibrant woman I knew. My father rushed to her, his voice choked with emotion. 'Are you okay? What did they do to you?'

"Mom!" I ran to her, wrapping my arms around her.

My father was at her side in an instant, his voice gentle yet filled with an edge of desperation. "Are you okay? What happened? Who did this to you?"

My mother just shook her head, tears streaming down her face. 'I'm fine,' she whispered, but it was clear she wasn't. She stepped inside, and that's when it happened. Before our eyes, she transformed. Deer ears sprouted from her head, a tail appeared, and her eyes, those beautiful eyes, glowed with an ethereal light. She was a deer hybrid."

My father and I were speechless. Hybrids were things of myths and legends, not reality. "How... how is this possible?" my father finally stammered.

"I was born this way," she explained, her voice trembling. "I've hidden it my whole life because I was afraid. Afraid of how you would react, afraid of being taken away. But they knew, dear. They knew and they want to capture hybrids for their own purposes."

"Who are they?" my father demanded, his protective instincts flaring.

"I don't know. They were careful not to reveal themselves," she said, her voice breaking.

My father holding her hands, his voice softening. "It doesn't matter. You're safe now. We'll protect you, no matter what."

I nodded, stepping closer. "We don't care what you are, Mom. We love you."

My father pulled her into his arms, holding her as if she might disappear again. 'I'm so sorry,' he whispered. 'I couldn't protect you.'

'I don't blame you,' she said, her voice soft. 'But now you know. We have to be more careful.'

Seokjin's voice trembled as he continued. "That night changed everything. My father became even more protective, but he was also more paranoid. He made sure I was always safe, but he also became more distant, consumed by the need to protect our family. My mother, though, she was never the same. The light in her eyes dimmed, and there was a sadness in her that never went away."

For a while, it seemed like things might go back to normal, but one morning, we found a letter on the kitchen table.

My dearest fmaily,

I must be hnoest wtih you. All tese years, I hvae never truley loved eitehr of you. My haert has always blonged elswhere, and staying with you has been nthoing but a burdn. I am leaving because I canot bear this charade any longer.

You dserve to knwo the truth. You and your father were merely convneient for me, and now I am free from this life. Do not look for me; I will not return. This is the end of our relatonship, and I wish to nveer see you again.

Please do not think this is easy for me. It is hard to pretned for so long. But I must go now, far away from you. I do not want to keep you in my life anymore.

Yours never truly,

Mom

I felt a rage I had never known. How could she leave us? After everything, how could she just walk away? My father was inconsolable. The powerful, feared man I had always known was reduced to a shadow of himself. He pleaded with everyone, offering anything for information about her whereabouts.

But it was no use. She was gone. The despair that enveloped our home was suffocating. My father, unable to bear the pain, took his own life a week later. I found him hanging in the study, a man broken by love and loss.

That night, as I held his lifeless body, something inside me shattered. My mother had abandoned us, leaving a trail of destruction in her wake. My father, driven mad by his love for her, was gone. The once happy family I had known was destroyed.

From that moment on, I vowed never to trust hybrids. They were heartless creatures who brought only pain and suffering. My mother had been the center of our world, and she had torn it apart. The hatred festered, growing stronger with each passing day.

I would never forgive her. Never.

Seokjin shows the letter written by his mom. Everyone reads it. All felt sad hearing the story. Seokjin states that this was the reason he felt afraid after listening that Namjoon was a hybrid. He thought that Namjoon would betray them, leaving their team disrupted and destroyed. Others can now understand the trauma he had gone through. But Namjoon was still silent. The five younger boys also seemed to be in deep thought. Upon asking, they just say that they feel sorry for Seokjin. And then Namjoon and the five go out of the room.

Once outside, Namjoon and the five younger boys gathered, their expressions somber. Namjoon broke the silence.

"There is something wrong. Hybrids don't betray. They can't. Even if hybrids die, they can't betray the one they loved."

Soobin nodded thoughtfully. "Exactly the point that's troubling me. Seokjin's mother couldn't have betrayed them. There is something wrong. Maybe the ones who kidnapped her forced her to write the letter."

Kai, deep in thought, added, "Yeah! They must have forced her. That's why she was afraid and made many spelling errors."

"You're right," Beomgyu chimed in. "If someone is forced to write, they're likely to make mistakes. We need to find the truth."

Hueningkai looked up with determination. "But how do we do that? How can we find out what really happened?"

Taehyun, who had been quietly listening, finally spoke. "We need to investigate. Look for clues in the letter, and see if there's any way to trace back to the people who kidnapped her."

Namjoon nodded, his resolve strengthening. "We can't let Seokjin carry this burden alone. We have to uncover the truth, for his sake and for his mother's."

The boys all agreed, a newfound determination shining in their eyes. They knew it wouldn't be easy, but they were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead to help their friend and uncover the real story behind the letter.
