Seokjin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook, and Namjoon sat in the living room of their shared house, the atmosphere heavy with the weight of unspoken words. The announcement at the party earlier that evening had thrown them into turmoil. Seokjin, the eldest, broke the silence first.
"I can't believe they're doing this," Seokjin said, his voice barely above a whisper. "An engagement announcement out of the blue. And now, they're sending those girls here for a month."
Yoongi, who had been staring out the window, finally turned around. "They think they're doing what's best for us," he said, though his tone carried no conviction. "But they don't understand... how could they?"
Hoseok sighed, running a hand through his hair. "This is just so messed up. We've always known we'd have to face something like this eventually, but now that it's here, it feels so much worse."
Jimin, who had been fidgeting with the hem of his shirt, finally spoke up. "We have to tell them. If we don't, we're just going to be miserable, and those girls... it's not fair to them either."
Taehyung nodded, his usual playful demeanor subdued. "But how do we even start that conversation? 'Hey, by the way, we're all in love with each other and not interested in marrying anyone else'?"
Jungkook, sitting cross-legged on the floor, looked up at Namjoon, who had been silently listening, his expression distant. "Joon-ah, what do you think? You've been quiet."
Namjoon sighed deeply, finally meeting their gazes. "I've been thinking about this a lot," he began slowly. "And while I agree we need to be honest with them, we can't forget about the attackers in the basement. We need to deal with that, too."
The room fell silent for a moment, but then Seokjin shook his head. "Namjoon, we'll figure that out later. Right now, we need to focus on the engagement and those girls coming tomorrow."
Yoongi nodded. "Yeah, one thing at a time. The engagement is the more immediate problem."
Hoseok patted Namjoon's shoulder. "We'll get to everything, but let's prioritize."
Namjoon sighed, feeling his frustration rising. "Guys, it's important—"
But before he could finish, Taehyung interrupted. "Namjoon, we'll handle it. Let's just focus on what we can control right now."
Namjoon looked around the room, realizing they weren't going to listen. He sighed again and stood up. "Fine. I'm hungry anyway." He walked towards the door.
Seokjin looked up, surprised. "You're leaving in the middle of this? We need you here, Namjoon."
Namjoon gave a small, tired smile. "I just need a break. I'll be back soon."
With that, he headed down the hallway to the younger boys' room. Once he enters the room,he immediately notices the buzz of activity. Taehyun and Hueningkai were hunched over a computer, their eyes darting across the screen as they clicked through various security camera feeds. Soobin and Yeonjun were poring over a notepad filled with hastily scribbled notes, occasionally glancing at the paused footage on another screen showing a blurry car number plate. Beomgyu, sitting cross-legged on the floor with his laptop, was intensely focused on a webpage about the hybrid-related company that had recently made a public statement.
"Hey, hyung," Soobin greeted him. "Everything okay?"
Namjoon shook his head slightly. "Just needed some space. Mind if I join you guys?"
"Of course not," Soobin said, making room on the bed.
Namjoon settled in with them, feeling a bit of the tension ease away. Meanwhile, back in the living room, the remaining boys continued their conversation about the engagement and the impending arrival of the girls, unaware of the gravity of the other problem lurking beneath their feet.
"Hyung," Hueningkai said, looking up with a worried expression. "Did you find anything out there?"
Namjoon shook his head, sighing as he leaned against the doorframe. "They're too caught up in their own problems to focus on this. The engagement announcement and the girls arriving tomorrow have them all worked up."
Taehyun's brow furrowed. "But the attackers in the basement... that's serious. We can't just ignore it."
"I know," Namjoon replied, moving to sit on the edge of one of the beds. "Which is why we need to handle this ourselves. We can't rely on them right now."
Soobin nodded, his gaze shifting back to the notepad. "We've managed to get a partial plate number from the footage, but it's not enough to pinpoint the car without more data."
Yeonjun looked up from the notepad. "We were hoping the other CCTVs in the area might give us a clearer image. Maybe we can track their route."
Namjoon rubbed his temples, trying to piece everything together. "And what about you, Beomgyu? Any luck on your end?"
Beomgyu looked up, a hint of frustration in his eyes. "I've been digging into the company that issued that statement about hybrids, but so far, it's all just surface-level information. Nothing concrete. They might be connected to the attackers, but I need more time to find something useful."
Taehyun leaned closer to the computer screen, his eyes scanning the various feeds. "We need to figure out where these guys came from and why they targeted us. There has to be something we're missing."
Namjoon sighed, his mind racing. "Let's split up the tasks more efficiently. Taehyun and Hueningkai, keep working on finding additional CCTV footage. Soobin and Yeonjun, try to enhance that partial plate number and see if we can cross-reference it with any databases. Beomgyu, keep digging into that company. Look for any connections, however small they might seem."
Hueningkai nodded, determination in his eyes. "We can do this. We just need to stay focused."
Namjoon gave a small, encouraging smile. "Right. We don't have to do this alone, but for now, it's on us. Let's prove we can handle this."
As the boys resumed their tasks with renewed determination, Namjoon felt a mix of pride and worry. Despite their youth, they were capable and resourceful. They needed to be, given the strange and dangerous circumstances they found themselves in.
In the dimly lit room, the only sounds were the soft clicks of keyboards and the occasional murmur of conversation. The atmosphere was tense but purposeful. Each of them knew the stakes were high, but they also knew they had each other to rely on.
Namjoon glanced back at the door, thinking about the older boys still wrapped up in their own problems in the living room. He couldn't help but feel a pang of frustration, but he understood their situation. The engagement announcement had blindsided them all, and the impending arrival of the girls only added to the stress.
Turning his focus back to the younger boys, Namjoon felt a surge of determination. They would solve this mystery, uncover the truth about the attackers, and protect their family. No matter what.
Hours passed as they worked tirelessly, the glow of the computer screens casting long shadows in the room. They shared their findings, debated theories, and supported each other through the moments of doubt and frustration.
Finally, Hueningkai broke the silence. "I think I found something," he said, his voice barely containing his excitement. "There's a camera angle we missed before. It might give us a better look at the attackers' car."
Everyone crowded around the screen, the tension palpable. Namjoon placed a hand on Hueningkai's shoulder. "Good job. Let's see what we've got."
As the footage played, a clearer image of the car came into view. Soobin quickly jotted down the now legible plate number, and Yeonjun started cross-referencing it with the database they had access to.
Minutes later, Yeonjun's eyes widened. "Got it! The car is registered to a shell company, but the address linked to it... it's connected to the hybrid company Beomgyu was investigating."
Beomgyu looked up, surprised but pleased. "That can't be a coincidence. This might be the break we needed."
Namjoon nodded, his mind racing with the implications. "Alright, this is good. Let's gather all our findings and plan our next move. We need to be careful, but we're on the right track."
In the midst of the chaos, Namjoon felt a renewed sense of purpose. Together, they would unravel the mystery and protect their family. No matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together.
The boys worked tirelessly through the night, their eyes growing heavy with fatigue but their determination unwavering. Namjoon was right there with them, not only leading but also diving into the work alongside his younger companions. The room was filled with the steady hum of computer fans, the soft clatter of keyboards, and the occasional murmur of discussion as they shared findings and debated theories.
As the first light of dawn began to filter through the curtains, Hueningkai stretched and yawned, rubbing his eyes. "We need a break," he said, looking around at his tired friends. "How about we get some snacks and energy drinks?"
Taehyun nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we could all use a little boost. Who wants to come with me to grab some?"
Namjoon glanced up from his notes, concern etched on his face as he took in the weary expressions of his friends. "I'll come with you guys. I need to pick up a few things anyway."
Soobin looked up, his eyes drooping but his focus still sharp. "Are you sure, Namjoon hyung? You've been working just as hard as the rest of us."
Namjoon smiled reassuringly. "It's fine. I could use the fresh air. You all keep at it, and we'll be back soon with some much-needed supplies."
Hueningkai and Taehyun nodded, grateful for the break. They stood up, stretching their stiff limbs before heading to the door. Namjoon followed them, casting one last look at the group before stepping into the hallway.
As they made their way down the street, the early morning air was cool and refreshing. The city was still waking up, the quiet a stark contrast to the intense focus and activity they had left behind in the house. Namjoon walked beside Hueningkai and Taehyun, his mind still buzzing with the details of their investigation.
Hueningkai broke the silence. "Do you think we're getting close to finding out who these attackers are?"
Namjoon nodded thoughtfully. "I think we're on the right track. The connection between the car and the hybrid company is a big lead. We just need to piece it all together."
Taehyun glanced at Namjoon. "What are we going to do once we have all the information? Confront them?"
Namjoon sighed. "We need to be careful. These people are dangerous, and we can't risk anyone getting hurt. We'll gather all the evidence and then figure out the best course of action. Maybe we can get the authorities involved, but we need to be absolutely sure about what we're dealing with."
Namjoon, Hueningkai, and Taehyun entered the convenience store, the cool air and fluorescent lights a welcome change from the early morning chill outside. They quickly grabbed the essentials: snacks, energy drinks, fresh fruit, and a first-aid kit. Hueningkai and Taehyun were efficient, moving through the aisles with practiced speed, but Namjoon took a bit longer, meticulously checking the shelves for any additional items they might need.
"Hyung, we'll wait for you outside," Taehyun called out as he and Hueningkai made their way to the exit with their purchases.
"Sure, I'll be out in a minute," Namjoon replied, his attention still focused on the shelves.
Outside, Hueningkai and Taehyun stood near the entrance, chatting quietly as they waited. Suddenly, their conversation was interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching rapidly. Before they could react, four men emerged from the shadows, attacking them with a brutal swiftness. Surprised and unprepared, Hueningkai and Taehyun struggled to defend themselves.
Inside the store, Namjoon heard the commotion and looked up just in time to see the attack unfold through the glass doors. His heart pounded in his chest as adrenaline surged through him. Dropping the items he was holding, he dashed outside, his eyes blazing with fury.
"Hey! Get away from them!" Namjoon shouted as he sprinted towards the attackers.
The men barely had time to react before Namjoon was upon them. He moved with a controlled rage, his fists and feet striking with precision and power. One by one, the attackers fell under his relentless assault. Hueningkai and Taehyun, though dazed, managed to scramble to their feet and assist Namjoon, but it was clear he had the situation under control.
Namjoon's anger fueled his strength, and the attackers soon realized they were no match for him. As he knocked the last of them to the ground, he recognized something familiar about their demeanor and tactics. These were the same hunters they had encountered before.
Breathing heavily, Namjoon glared down at the four men, who lay groaning on the pavement. "You're not welcome here," he growled. "If I see you again, it won't end well for you."
Hueningkai and Taehyun, still catching their breath, exchanged a glance filled with both relief and concern. "Hyung, are you okay?" Hueningkai asked, his voice shaky.
Namjoon nodded, his anger slowly subsiding. "I'm fine. But we need to get out of here. There might be more of them nearby."
The three boys quickly gathered their scattered purchases and hurried back to the house. As they walked, Namjoon kept a watchful eye on their surroundings, his protective instincts on high alert. The encounter had shaken them, but it had also reinforced the urgency of their mission.
As Namjoon, Hueningkai, and Taehyun hurried back to the house, the adrenaline from the attack began to wear off, and the pain from their injuries started to set in. Hueningkai had a nasty scratch on his face, while Taehyun's lip was bleeding from a hard punch he had taken. Despite their fatigue and discomfort, they moved quickly, not wanting to risk another encounter with the hunters.
When they reached home, they noticed the living room was empty. The older boys, who had been discussing the engagement and the arrival of the girls, were no longer there. Namjoon led the way to the shared room, his mind racing with thoughts about the attack and what it meant for their safety.
As they entered the room, Beomgyu, Soobin, and Yeonjun looked up from their work, their faces immediately filling with worry and concern at the sight of Hueningkai and Taehyun's injuries.
"What happened?" Beomgyu exclaimed, rushing over to them.
"Are you guys okay?" Soobin asked, his voice filled with alarm.
Yeonjun grabbed the first-aid kit and quickly started to assess Taehyun's lip. "Sit down, both of you. Let's get you cleaned up."
Hueningkai, still a bit shaken, took a deep breath before explaining. "We were attacked outside the mart. Four men jumped us. We didn't see it coming, and they hit us pretty hard. Namjoon-hyung came out just in time and fought them off."
As Hueningkai narrated the events, Namjoon stood silently by the door, his expression tense and unreadable. His fists were still clenched, and his jaw was set in a hard line, clearly struggling to control his anger and worry.
Beomgyu gently dabbed at the scratch on Hueningkai's face with antiseptic, his hands steady but his eyes full of concern. "Those hunters again?"
Taehyun nodded, wincing slightly as Yeonjun applied a bandage to his lip. "Yeah, it was definitely them. They must be getting desperate to come after us like this."
Soobin glanced over at Namjoon, noticing his uncharacteristic silence. "Hyung, are you okay?"
Namjoon finally spoke, his voice low and controlled. "I'm fine. But this just proves that we're running out of time. They're not going to stop until they get what they want, and we need to be ready for them."
The room fell silent for a moment, each of the boys absorbing the gravity of Namjoon's words. They had always known the danger they were in, but the attack had brought it into sharp focus.
Yeonjun finished bandaging Taehyun's lip and looked around at the group. "We need to double our efforts. We can't afford to be caught off guard again. We need to find out everything we can about these hunters and their connection to the hybrid company."
Beomgyu nodded in agreement. "I'll keep digging into the company. There has to be something we're missing."
Soobin turned back to his laptop, determined. "I'll see if I can enhance the footage and get a better look at those hunters. Maybe we can identify them and figure out their next move."
Hueningkai and Taehyun, now bandaged and a bit steadier, nodded resolutely. "We'll help," Taehyun said, his voice firm despite the pain.
Namjoon finally unclenched his fists, his tense posture relaxing slightly as he looked around at his brothers. "Alright, let's get to work. We're stronger together, and we'll figure this out."
The boys returned to their tasks with renewed determination, the urgency of their situation driving them forward.
As the first rays of dawn illuminated the room, they worked side by side, united in their mission to uncover the truth and protect their family. The fight was far from over, but they were ready to face whatever came next.
As the boys huddled together in their shared room, strategizing and tending to each other's injuries, a sudden, loud screeching noise from outside drew their attention. The sound of tires skidding and the crunch of flower beds being destroyed was unmistakable. The boys exchanged worried glances, their previous conversation about the hunters still fresh in their minds.
"What's going on now?" Beomgyu muttered, moving toward the window to get a better look.
Peering out, he saw three sleek, expensive cars parked haphazardly in front of the house. The once neat flower beds along the driveway were now a mess of trampled petals and uprooted plants. From the cars emerged three young women, dressed in revealing outfits that contrasted sharply with the quiet morning atmosphere. They moved with a confidence that bordered on arrogance, their high heels clicking loudly against the pavement.
Behind them, a group of men stepped out, each carrying large suitcases. They followed the women toward the entrance of the BTS mansion with a determined gait.
Namjoon's eyes narrowed as he recognized the girls from the party yesterday. Han Yoo-jin, Han Soo-jin, and Han Ji-min—the three girls who were supposed to stay with them for the next month, courtesy of the elders' engagement plans.
"So, they're here," Yoongi said, his voice tinged with a mixture of annoyance and resignation as he joined Beomgyu at the window.
The rest of the boys quickly gathered by the window, their faces reflecting a range of emotions from curiosity to outright frustration.
Jimin sighed heavily. "Just what we needed, right?"
Seokjin turned away from the window, his mind racing. "Alright, let's go down and meet them. We need to handle this carefully. Remember, they're not to blame for any of this."
The boys reluctantly made their way downstairs, Seokjin leading the way. As they reached the entrance hall, the front door swung open, and the girls sauntered in, their eyes scanning the interior with a mix of interest and appraisal.
Han Yoo-jin, the eldest, stepped forward first. She had an air of authority about her, her eyes cool and calculating. "So, this is the famous BTS mansion," she said, her voice smooth but with an edge of superiority.
Han Soo-jin, with a slightly softer demeanor but no less confident, smiled. "It's quite charming, isn't it, unnie?"
Han Ji-min, the youngest, looked around with a more genuine curiosity, her expression less guarded than her sisters'.
Seokjin stepped forward, maintaining a calm and polite demeanor. "Welcome, girls. We have been expecting you."
The men with the suitcases began to set them down, lining them up neatly in the entrance hall. Yoo-jin glanced at them and then stared at Namjoon. "Thank you. We're looking forward to getting to know all of you better."
Seokjin, ever the polite host, forced a smile. "We'll show you to your rooms. If you need anything, just let us know."
As the boys led the girls and their entourage deeper into the house, the tension in the air was palpable. Each step seemed to amplify the unspoken conflicts and the challenges that lay ahead.
Namjoon stole a glance at his brothers, noting their varied reactions. Taehyung and Jungkook appeared particularly uneasy about the whole situation. Jimin's face was a mask of calm, though Namjoon could see the worry in his eyes.
Once the girls were settled in their respective rooms, Namjoon gathers the younger group of boys regrouped in the living room. The arrival of the Han sisters had added a new layer of complexity to an already tense situation. They needed to stay focused and united, now more than ever. Soo-Hoon and Jongin were shifted to farmhouse a few yards away from thr mansion as the girls took their place in the guest rooms.
"Alright," Namjoon said, taking a deep breath. "We need to keep an eye on them, but let's not lose sight of our main goal. We need to find out everything we can about the hunters and the hybrid company. And we need to stay safe."
The first day with the Han sisters passed surprisingly smoothly. Yoo-jin, Soo-jin, and Ji-min remained polite and friendly, keeping a respectful distance from their fiancés. They explored the mansion, chatted amiably with the boys, and generally behaved as model guests. The boys, despite their initial reservations, found themselves cautiously optimistic about the arrangement. However, this calm would prove to be short-lived.
By the next morning, the atmosphere in the house began to shift. It started subtly at breakfast when Yoo-jin complained about the temperature of her tea, snapping at the cook. Soo-jin followed suit, demanding a different spread of breakfast options, and Ji-min, though quieter, nodded in agreement, her disapproval clear.
As the day progressed, their behavior worsened. Yoo-jin and Soo-jin threw tantrums over trivial matters, their voices echoing through the halls of the mansion. They berated the staff for minor mistakes and frequently interrupted the boys with demands and complaints. Ji-min, while initially more reserved, soon began to mimic her sisters, adding her voice to their chorus of dissatisfaction.
"Where is my silk robe?" Yoo-jin demanded, her tone sharp as she glared at a maid. "I asked for it ten minutes ago!"
"And I specifically requested fresh flowers in my room," Soo-jin whined, folding her arms. "These are already wilting."
Ji-min, standing nearby, nodded in agreement, her eyes narrowing. "And I need my room cleaned again. It's not up to standard."
The boys, gathered in the living room, exchanged worried glances. They knew that responding to the girls' tantrums could escalate into a larger conflict, potentially igniting tensions between the BTS gang and the Red Vipers, the powerful group to which the Han family belonged. The possibility of such a war was something they desperately wanted to avoid.
Taehyung sighed, rubbing his temples. "We can't keep letting them walk all over us like this."
"But what choice do we have?" Hoseok asked, frustration evident in his voice. "If we say anything, it could cause even more problems."
Namjoon, who had been listening quietly, finally spoke up. "We need to find a way to manage this without escalating the situation. Let's try to keep things as calm as possible and pick our battles wisely."
Seokjin nodded. "Namjoon's right. We need to be strategic. We can't afford to let this get out of hand."
Over the next few days, the Han sisters' behavior continued to deteriorate, their true colors fully on display. The boys found themselves constantly on edge, trying to manage the girls' tantrums and demands without causing further tension.
One morning, Yoo-jin barged into the kitchen where Seokjin was preparing breakfast. She wrinkled her nose at the sight of the spread on the table.
"Is this all?" she scoffed. "I asked for an omelet with truffle oil, not this peasant food."
Seokjin, who had been trying to keep his composure, forced a smile. "I'm sorry, Yoo-jin. We don't have truffle oil, but I can make you a different type of omelet if you'd like."
Yoo-jin rolled her eyes. "Never mind. I'll just go out and buy my own breakfast. This place is hopeless."
As she stormed out, Seokjin sighed heavily, turning back to the stove. "I don't know how much more of this I can take."
Later that afternoon, Soo-jin threw a fit in the living room. She had been trying to watch a movie, but the internet connection had momentarily dropped.
"What's wrong with the Wi-Fi in this house?" she yelled, glaring at Hoseok, who was passing by. "I can't even watch my shows in peace!"
Hoseok paused, trying to remain calm. "The internet's been a bit spotty lately. I'll see if I can reset the router for you."
Soo-jin sneered. "You'd better, or I'll make sure you regret it."
Hoseok gritted his teeth, muttering to himself as he went to fix the router. "Just a few more weeks," he repeated like a mantra.
Meanwhile, Ji-min, the youngest, was not as outwardly aggressive as her sisters but still contributed to the tension. One evening, she found Taehyung working in the study, poring over maps and documents related to the hunters.
"Hey, Taehyung," she said sweetly. "Could you help me with something?"
Taehyung looked up, trying to be polite despite his exhaustion. "Sure, Ji-min. What do you need?"
She handed him her phone. "I can't figure out how to connect this to the speaker system. Can you do it for me?"
Taehyung nodded, taking the phone and connecting it quickly. "There you go."
Ji-min smiled. "Thanks, Tae. You're the only one here who's actually helpful."
As she walked away, Taehyung felt a pang of frustration. It was clear that Ji-min, despite her quieter demeanor, knew how to manipulate situations to her advantage.
The next day, Yoo-jin decided she wanted to host a small gathering with her friends. She marched into the living room where Jungkook was practicing guitar.
"Jungkook, I need you to set up the backyard for a party," she demanded, her tone leaving no room for argument.
Jungkook blinked, surprised. "A party? When? And why me? There are servants to ask for. "
"This afternoon and I want it to be perfect. And if you don't want to then I will tell Seokjin oppa" she replied, as if it were obvious.
"Don't trouble hyung. I will manage it. " Said Jungkook while trying to not get angry.
"And make sure it's perfect. I don't want any mistakes." Commanded like she is the owner and went off.
Jungkook sighed but nodded. "Alright, I'll get started."
As the boys helped set up the backyard, Soo-jin lounged by the pool, barking orders at them. "The table should go over there, not here. And make sure the lights are hung properly. I don't want anything to look cheap."
Yoongi, who had been hanging the lights, shot her an annoyed look. "We're doing our best, Soo-jin. Maybe you could help instead of just criticizing?"
Soo-jin huffed. "I'm supervising. That's helping enough."
That evening, as the party began, the boys found themselves serving as makeshift waiters, bringing drinks and snacks to Yoo-jin's friends while the girls were clinging to their fiancee making the other three more mad than ever. The girls continued to act entitled and demanding, treating the boys more like servants than fiancés or hosts. Namjoon was also working but he managed to keep the younger five boys away from all this nonsense by saying that the girls don't want a whining, crying baby ruining the party and the five boys can easily keep Joon-wo away from the party without casuing trouble which the girls agreed.
At one point, Jimin accidentally spilled a drink while trying to juggle a tray of appetizers. Yoo-jin's friend shrieked in annoyance, and Yoo-jin glared at him.
"Honestly, can't you do anything right?" she snapped. "Clean this up and get me another drink."
Jimin's face flushed with embarrassment and anger, but he bit his tongue, grabbing a cloth to clean the mess.
As the night wore on, Namjoon watched everything unfold with growing tension. He knew they had to keep their cool for the sake of peace between the BTS gang and the Red Vipers, but the girls' constant disrespect was wearing thin.
After the guests had left and the house was quiet again, the boys gathered in the kitchen, each of them nursing their frustrations.
"This can't go on," Jungkook said, his voice tight with anger. "They can't keep treating us like this."
Namjoon nodded. "I know. But we have to be strategic. We can't let this escalate into a conflict with the Red Vipers. We need to find a way to manage this situation without causing more trouble."
Seokjin sighed, rubbing his temples. "It's like walking on eggshells every day. We just need to survive this month."
Yoongi looked around at his brothers, his eyes hard. "We will. We just need to stay united and keep our eyes on the goal. We'll get through this, together."
The boys nodded in agreement, drawing strength from their shared resolve. No matter how difficult the days ahead would be, they knew they could rely on each other to face whatever challenges came their way.
The tension in the house reached its breaking point on a seemingly ordinary afternoon. Jimin, Jungkook, and Namjoon were in the living room, discussing their plans for the next day. Namjoon had just finished explaining a strategy when Yoo-jin, Soo-jin, and Ji-min walked in, their expressions already set in anger.
"What's going on?" Jimin asked, noticing their hostile demeanor.
Yoo-jin pointed an accusatory finger at Jungkook. "Your dog destroyed my shoes!" she shouted. "Those were designer, and now they're ruined!"
Jungkook blinked, taken aback. "I'm really sorry, Yoo-jin. I didn't know..."
Soo-jin cut him off, her voice dripping with disdain. "Sorry doesn't fix my sister's shoes. Do you even understand how expensive they were?"
Namjoon stepped forward, trying to diffuse the situation. "We'll replace the shoes. Just tell us where you got them, and we'll take care of it."
But Yoo-jin wasn't appeased. "That's not the point! It's the principle of the matter. You don't care about our things, our space. You're always so careless!"
Ji-min, though quieter, nodded in agreement. "It's like you don't respect us at all."
The argument quickly escalated. Jimin, usually the peacekeeper, found himself caught in the crossfire as Soo-jin turned her ire on him.
"And you, Jimin, always so clumsy! You spilled a drink on my friend at the party, and now this? Can you do anything right?" she yelled, her words like daggers.
Jimin's face flushed with a mix of embarrassment and anger. "I'm sorry, but accidents happen. We're doing our best here."
"Your best isn't good enough," Yoo-jin snapped. "We shouldn't have to put up with this."
Namjoon tried to intervene again, his voice calm but firm. "Enough, all of you. Let's just calm down and talk this through."
But Yoo-jin turned on him, her eyes blazing. "Don't you dare tell me to calm down. You act like you're in charge here, but you have no control over anything. And you are the maknae of this team. How dare you talk back to me. You're all just a bunch of incompetent children!"
The words hit Namjoon hard, but before he could respond, the door to the kitchen opened, and Seokjin, Hoseok, and Yoongi walked in. They took in the scene, their faces immediately filling with concern.
"What's going on here?" Seokjin asked, looking between the groups.
Yoo-jin crossed her arms, glaring at them. "Your friends don't know how to respect our things. They ruined my shoes and think a simple apology is enough."
Soo-jin chimed in, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "And Jimin here can't seem to do anything without making a mess."
Ji-min added quietly, "We deserve better treatment than this."
Seokjin, Hoseok, Yoongi and Taehyung exchanged helpless looks, knowing that defending their brothers would only escalate the situation further. They were trapped, unable to side with their soulmates without risking the fragile peace between the BTS gang and the Red Vipers.
Seokjin sighed, his voice soft. "We'll replace the shoes, Yoo-jin. Let's not make this a bigger issue than it needs to be."
Hoseok nodded, trying to placate them. "We'll be more careful in the future. Please, let's all just calm down."
Yoongi and Taehyung remained silent, their eyes fixed on the floor, unable to meet the gaze of their soulmates.
Namjoon, Jungkook, and Jimin felt a deep sense of betrayal. Their soulmates' lack of support in this moment of need was a bitter pill to swallow. The girls, sensing their victory, smirked and left the room, leaving a heavy silence in their wake.
Jungkook's hands clenched into fists, his knuckles white. "I can't believe this," he muttered, his voice trembling with anger and hurt.
Jimin's eyes filled with unshed tears. "We try so hard to keep the peace, to make everyone happy, and this is what we get?"
Namjoon placed a comforting hand on Jimin's shoulder, but the pain in his own eyes was evident. "We'll get through this, somehow. We have to."
Seokjin, Hoseok, Yoongi and Taehyung stood there, feeling the weight of their own helplessness and guilt. They wanted to reach out, to comfort their brothers, but the unspoken tension held them back.
Seokjin finally spoke, his voice barely above a whisper. "We're sorry. We didn't mean to..."
Jungkook cut him off, his voice raw with emotion. "Sorry isn't enough, hyung. We needed you, and you weren't there."
Hoseok stepped forward, his eyes pleading. "We had to think about the bigger picture. The consequences..."
Jimin shook his head, his voice breaking. "What about us? Don't we matter in the bigger picture?"
Taehyung looked up, his own eyes filled with pain. "You do. More than anything. We're just trying to keep everyone safe."
Yoongi just kept quite fisting his fists guloong down the anger swirling inside him.
Namjoon took a deep breath, trying to hold back his own emotions. "We understand, but it doesn't make it hurt any less."
The boys stood in the living room, the silence heavy with unresolved feelings. Despite their anger and pain, they knew they had to stay strong. They were a family, bound by more than just circumstances. And even in their darkest moments, they knew they had to find a way to support each other, to heal the wounds inflicted by those meant to be their allies.
As the evening wore on, the boys retreated to their rooms, the weight of the day's events pressing heavily on their hearts. The road ahead was uncertain, but one thing remained clear: they would face it together, come what may.
The morning sun streamed through the large windows of the BTS mansion, casting a warm glow over the living room. The air was filled with the tantalizing aroma of breakfast, as Seokjin busied himself in the kitchen, preparing a meal for everyone. Hoseok and Yoongi helped set the table, while Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook chatted animatedly about their plans for the day.
Suddenly, the girls descended the grand staircase, their presence immediately drawing attention. Han Yoo-jin, Han Soo-jin, and Han Ji-min, dressed in revealing and stylish outfits, strutted into the living room, their eyes scanning the room for their fiancés. Their expressions were a mix of entitlement and annoyance, and it didn't take long for them to make their dissatisfaction known.
"Where's our breakfast?" Yoo-jin demanded, her voice sharp as she glared at Seokjin. "I hope it's ready because we're starving."
Seokjin forced a polite smile, hiding his irritation. "It's almost done. Just a few more minutes."
Soo-jin rolled her eyes, her arms crossed over her chest. "Hurry up. We don't have all day."
Ji-min, the youngest, stayed quiet but her eyes followed her sisters' lead, a hint of arrogance in her gaze.
As Seokjin returned to the kitchen, the girls turned their attention to the other boys. Yoo-jin sauntered over to Hoseok, her eyes gleaming with mischief.
"Hoseok can you fetch my bag from the car?" she asked sweetly, though her tone was anything but.
Hoseok's smile faltered for a moment, but he nodded. "Sure, I'll get it for you."
Soo-jin, meanwhile, zeroed in on Yoongi. " Tae oppa, my shoes need polishing. They got a bit dirty yesterday."
Taehyung's eyes narrowed slightly, but he managed a tight-lipped smile. "I'll take care of it."
Jimin, sensing the rising tension, tried to diffuse the situation by engaging the girls in conversation, but they ignored him, their focus now on their fiancés. Yoo-jin clung to Seokjin as he emerged from the kitchen, sliding her arm around his waist and leaning in close.
"Seokjin-oppa, you look so handsome today," she purred, her eyes flicking toward the other boys, a clear message in her gaze.
Soo-jin was quick to latch onto Hoseok, wrapping her arms around his neck as soon as he returned bringing her bag. "Hoseok-oppa, I need you to take me shopping later. You know I can't trust anyone else with my style."
Ji-min, though quieter, made her move on Taehyung standing uncomfortably close and batting her eyelashes. "Tae-oppa, can you play something for me later? I love it when you play the piano."
The older boys exchanged weary glances, their frustration mounting. Namjoon, Yoongi, Jungkook, and Jimin, who had been watching from the sidelines, felt a surge of anger. The girls were treating them like servants while throwing themselves at their fiancés, making the situation unbearable.
"Is there anything we can do to help?" Namjoon offered, his voice laced with barely concealed irritation.
Yoo-jin didn't even look at him. "Just stay out of the way. We don't need anything from you."
Jungkook clenched his fists, struggling to keep his composure. "We should all be working together, not treating each other like this."
Soo-jin shot him a disdainful look. "You're not in charge here, Jungkook. Know your place."
The tension in the room was palpable, and it was clear that the girls were testing the limits of everyone's patience. The boys felt helpless, caught between their frustration with the girls' behavior and their reluctance to cause further conflict.
As the day wore on, the girls continued their antics, demanding attention from their fiancés while belittling the other boys. By evening, the atmosphere in the mansion was thick with resentment, and the boys could barely hide their exhaustion and anger.
That night, the tension in the mansion was palpable. After the dispute in the morning, the boys dispersed, each retreating to their own thoughts and struggles. Namjoon, however, couldn't let it go. He paced in his room, the anger simmering just below the surface. It wasn't just about the girls and their constant disrespect—it was about the bigger, more immediate threat that no one seemed to be paying attention to: the hunters.
The memory of Hueningkai and Taehyun coming back injured was still fresh in his mind. How could they be so distracted by the girls when their friends were in danger? His frustration grew, and finally, he couldn't take it anymore. He stormed out of his room and headed straight for the shared room where Seokjin, Hoseok, and Yoongi were gathered.
The three looked up as Namjoon entered, his expression dark.
"Namjoon, what's going on?" Hoseok asked, concerned.
Namjoon took a deep breath, trying to keep his anger in check. "We need to talk."
Seokjin, sensing the seriousness in Namjoon's tone, nodded. "Alright, let's talk. What's bothering you?"
"What's bothering me?" Namjoon repeated, his voice rising. "What's bothering me is that we have a real, immediate threat out there—hunters who attacked Hueningkai and Taehyun—and instead of focusing on that, we're stuck dealing with these spoiled brats and their tantrums!"
Yoongi frowned. "We know the hunters are a problem, Namjoon. But the situation with the girls isn't something we can just ignore."
"You're right, we can't ignore it," Namjoon said, his frustration evident. "But that doesn't mean we lose sight of what's more important. Hueningkai and Taehyun were hurt. They were attacked, and yet we're sitting here, more worried about shoes and Wi-Fi than our own safety!"
Hoseok sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Namjoon, it's not that simple. If we don't keep the girls happy, it could lead to a conflict with the Red Vipers. We can't afford that kind of war."
"Can't we?" Namjoon shot back. "What's the point of avoiding a war with them if we're going to be picked off by hunters one by one? We need to prioritize. Our friends were attacked, and we need to figure out who these hunters are and what they want. Everything else should come second."
Seokjin stood up, his expression calm but firm. "Namjoon, we understand your frustration. But we're trying to keep a delicate balance here. We can't just dismiss the girls' issues, even if they seem trivial compared to the hunters."
Namjoon shook his head. "I'm not saying we dismiss them entirely. But we can't let them distract us from the real threat. We need to find a way to manage both, without losing sight of what's most important."
Yoongi sighed, looking down. "You're right. We've been so caught up in trying to keep the peace that we've neglected the bigger picture."
Hoseok nodded, finally understanding. "We need to refocus. The hunters are a serious threat, and we can't afford to ignore them."
Seokjin looked at Namjoon, his eyes filled with determination. "Alright, let's come up with a plan right now. We'll deal with the girls as best we can, but our priority will be finding out more about these hunters and protecting our family."
Namjoon felt a small sense of relief. "Thank you. We need to stay united and vigilant. The girls are a problem, but the hunters are a danger we can't ignore."
As they started to strategize, the door creaked open, and Hueningkai and Taehyun walked in, looking tired but determined.
"Hey, hyungs," Hueningkai said softly. "We heard you talking. We want to help. We can't just sit around while there's a threat out there."
Taehyun nodded in agreement. "We've been doing some research, and we think we've found some leads. But we can't do it alone."
Namjoon smiled, grateful for their support. "Thank you. We'll get through this together."
The boys gathered the others and spent all the night planning and coordinating their efforts, determined to face the threats head-on. The tension with the girls was still there, but now, it was secondary to their main goal: protecting their family and uncovering the truth about the hunters.
By dawn, they had a solid plan in place. Despite the challenges, they knew they could rely on each other. No matter what came next, they were ready to face it together.
As the dawn broke, the boys gathered in the living room, a mixture of exhaustion and determination on their faces. They had spent the night strategizing, and now it was time to finalize their plan.
Namjoon took a deep breath, addressing the group. "Alright, here's what we've come up with. We need to lure the hunters out of hiding, and the best way to do that is by using ourselves as bait."
The room fell silent as the younger boys—Hueningkai, Taehyun, Beomgyu, Soobin, and Yeonjun—stepped forward. They had insisted on being part of the plan, despite the older boys' initial resistance.
"No way," Seokjin said firmly. "We can't risk your safety like that."
"We're not kids anymore," Yeonjun argued. "We can handle ourselves. Besides, they attacked us. We have a right to fight back."
Hueningkai nodded, determination in his eyes. "If we don't do this, they'll keep coming after us. We need to end this now."
Namjoon glanced at Seokjin, Hoseok, and Yoongi, seeing the conflict in their eyes. "They've made up their minds. We have to trust them and support each other. We'll be there every step of the way."
After a moment of silence, Seokjin sighed, conceding. "Alright. But we do this smartly and safely. No unnecessary risks."
The plan was intricate and relied heavily on teamwork. They divided into two groups: the bait and the observers. The younger boys—Hueningkai, Taehyun, Beomgyu, Soobin, and Yeonjun—would act as the bait, going about their usual routines to draw the hunters out. The older boys—Namjoon, Seokjin, Hoseok, Yoongi,Taehyung ,Jungkook and Jimin—would remain hidden but close by, ready to intervene at any sign of trouble.
Namjoon explained the specifics. "We'll use discreet communication devices to stay in constant contact. The younger boys will wear small, hidden cameras to capture any interactions. As soon as we identify the hunters, we'll move in."
Jimin looked at the younger boys, concern evident in his eyes. "Remember, the moment things get dangerous, you call for help. Don't try to be heroes."
Soobin nodded. "We know. We're not looking to get hurt. We just want to stop them."
Hoseok added, "We've also set up a few safe zones around the area where you can retreat if needed. We'll be monitoring everything."
Yoongi, always the pragmatist, handed out small, concealed weapons for protection. "Just in case. Use them only if absolutely necessary."
With the plan in place, the boys took a moment to gather their resolve. They knew the risks but also understood that this was their best chance to protect their family and find out who was behind the attacks.
The day passed in a blur of preparation. The younger boys went about their routines, trying to act as naturally as possible despite the tension. They visited their usual spots, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious.
In the late afternoon, as Hueningkai and Taehyun walked through a quiet park, they noticed a group of unfamiliar men watching them intently. Hueningkai subtly activated his hidden camera, signaling the older boys.
Jungkook's voice crackled in their earpieces. "We've got eyes on you. Stay calm and keep moving. We'll be there soon."
Hueningkai and Taehyun continued their walk, leading the men towards a more secluded area where the rest of their group could intervene without endangering bystanders. As they reached the designated spot, the men closed in, their intentions clear.
Just as the situation seemed to be reaching a critical point, the older boys moved in swiftly. Seokjin, Hoseok, Yoongi, and Jimin emerged from their hiding spots, surrounding the men.
The men, realizing they were outnumbered and outmaneuvered, hesitated. One of them tried to reach for a weapon, but Yoongi was quicker, disarming him with practiced ease.
"Who sent you?" Seokjin demanded, his usually gentle demeanor replaced with a steely resolve.
The men exchanged nervous glances but remained silent.
Hoseok stepped forward, his eyes blazing. "Answer him."
Under the intense pressure, one of the men finally broke. "We're just following orders. We were hired to take out the hybrids."
"By who?" Jimin pressed, his voice tight with anger.
"The company...the one pushing for hybrid control. They see you as a threat," the man confessed.
Namjoon nodded, satisfied. "You can either cooperate and give us more information, or face the consequences."
Just as the boys closed in on the attackers, the boys heard a car door slam. They looked up to see a man approaching, his presence commanding immediate respect from the hunters with many more men following him, all armed.
Seokjin signaled for everyone to hold their positions, but as the man and his men drew nearer, it became clear that something was wrong. The hunters surrounded Hueningkai , Soobin and Taehyun, and Hyun-soo's men began to fan out, blocking potential escape routes.
"Back off," Namjoon ordered, his voice strong and authoritative.
The man smiled coldly. "It's too late for that."
With a snap of his fingers, the leader's men pounced. The hunters moved with terrifying speed and precision, quickly overpowering the boys despite their best efforts. Seokjin, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung ,Jungkook and Yoongi fought valiantly but found themselves disarmed and held at gunpoint.
Hueningkai, Soobin and Taehyun struggled against their captors, but they were outmatched. The situation was dire, and Namjoon knew he had to act fast.
"Let them go," Namjoon demanded, stepping forward.
The man's eyes glittered with malicious amusement. "And why would I do that?"
Namjoon's gaze hardened. "Because you don't know what you're dealing with."
Without another word, Namjoon unleashed his power. His eyes glowed an intense, eerie blue, and a powerful energy emanated from him, sending shockwaves through the air. The ground trembled, and a fierce wind whipped around him, making it hard for anyone to stand their ground.
The hunters staggered, momentarily stunned by the sheer force of Namjoon's display. The older boys used the distraction to break free from their captors, quickly disarming the hunters and turning the tables.
The leader's confident smile faltered. "What... what are you?"
Namjoon stepped forward, his presence radiating power and determination. "I'm also a hybrid. And you've made a big mistake coming after us."
With a swift motion, Namjoon sent a pulse of energy towards the leader and his men, knocking them off their feet. The hunters scrambled to their feet, but it was clear they were outmatched.
Others quickly moved to subdue the remaining hunters, their movements precise and coordinated. The younger boys, seeing their chance, fought back with renewed vigor, managing to break free from their captors.
The leader, realizing he was defeated, tried to retreat. But Namjoon was faster. In a blur, he was in front of him, grabbing him by the collar and lifting him off the ground with ease.
"You think you can hunt us?" Namjoon growled, his voice low and dangerous. "You have no idea what we're capable of."
The leader struggled, but Namjoon's grip was unyielding. "This isn't over," The leader spat, desperation creeping into his voice.
Namjoon tightened his grip, his eyes glowing brighter. "Oh, it's over. And if you come after us again, you'll wish you hadn't."
With a final surge of power, Namjoon threw the leader to the ground, the impact leaving the man dazed and defeated. The hunters, seeing their leader incapacitated, surrendered, knowing they stood no chance against Namjoon's raw power.
Breathing heavily, Namjoon looked around at his brothers. "Is everyone okay?"
They nodded, awe and gratitude in their eyes. Hueningkai and Taehyun, though bruised and battered, managed small smiles.
"Thanks, hyung," Hueningkai said quietly. "You saved us."
Namjoon nodded, his expression softening. "We're a family. We protect each other."
The leader began to clap all of a sudden, each clap slow, echoing ominously in the tense atmosphere.
Namjoon, his expression guarded, watched the man closely. The leader's smile was not just dirty but held a sinister edge, revealing a glimpse of his ruthlessness beneath a veneer of civility.
Well, well," the man said, his voice smooth and calculating. "How did we miss such a strong hybrid in our initial assessments?"
The subordinate, a nervous-looking man with a clipboard, stammered, "I-I don't know, sir. He must have slipped through our screening."
Namjoon turned to face the new change in behavior, his stance defensive but curious. "And who might you be?"
The man smiled, a chilling expression that sent shivers down the boys' spines. "My name is Hyun-soo. I'm the one who's been hunting your kind."
Namjoon's eyes narrowed further. "You're behind all this?"
Hyun-soo nodded, his smile never wavering. "Yes. And I must say, I'm quite impressed. You hybrids are more resilient than I anticipated."
Seokjin stepped forward, anger flashing in his eyes. "You attacked our family. You won't get away with this."
Hyun-soo chuckled. "Oh, I believe I will. But for now, it seems the game has become more interesting. I'll be seeing you again, Namjoon."
With a final, mocking bow, Hyun-soo and his subordinate turned and walked back to their car, leaving the boys standing in a mix of anger and determination.
As they regrouped the boys felt a renewed sense of unity and strength. They had faced a powerful enemy and emerged victorious, thanks to Namjoon's extraordinary abilities.
Back at the mansion, they knew the fight wasn't over, but they were ready for whatever came next. United and determined, they would stand together against any threat, no matter how formidable.
.The black SUV still parked a little way from the scene, its tinted windows concealing the occupants. Inside, Hyun-Soo was still thinking about the recent unfolding events with keen interest. As Namjoon revealed his powers, the man leaned forward, eyes narrowing.
"Did you also see the powers?" he asked, his voice low and commanding.
"Yes, sir," the driver responded, glancing nervously in the rearview mirror. "What should I do next?"
"Hmmm...," the man replied, his gaze fixed in the photos of the boys clicked by the driver while they were fighting , "Get me all the information you can on that hybrid. I want to know everything."
The driver nodded, pulling out his phone to relay the orders. Just then, another figure approached the car. It was Byung-ho, one of the man's trusted lieutenants. The guards around the car tensed, recognizing him immediately.
Byung-ho knocked on the window, and the man gestured for him to enter. As Byung-ho slid into the passenger seat, he cast a quick glance at the photos laid on the seat.
"We need to discuss our next move," Byung-ho said, his tone serious. "I suggest we consider a cooperation."
The man raised an eyebrow. "Cooperation? With whom?"
Byung-ho looked pointedly at the park. "With them. The BTS gang. Specifically, that new hybrid. He's powerful, and it would be advantageous to have him on our side rather than as an enemy."
The man leaned back, considering Byung-ho's words. "And what makes you think they would even entertain the idea of cooperating with us?"
Byung-ho shrugged. "We have resources they don't. Information, technology, connections. If we approach them carefully, we might be able bend them to our ways, forcing ,torturing is also a means of cooperation."
The man nodded slowly, his mind already working through the possibilities. "Very well. But first, we need more information on that hybrid. I want to know his strengths, his weaknesses, and everything in between. And once we have that, we'll make our move."
Byung-ho smiled, a glint of anticipation in his eyes. "Understood. I'll get right on it."
As Byung-ho exited the car and the SUV drove away, the man couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. This new hybrid was a game-changer, and if they played their cards right, it could tip the balance of power in their favor.
