First Class With Students

Maulana Sahib stood before his students in a classroom, where Akbar Dad, Gul Faraz, Omer Daraz, Gulshan Ali, and Iqbal Dil sat in their traditional Pakistani Muslim attire. "Assalam O Alaikum!" Maulana greeted, and the students replied, "Walaikum Asalam!"

Maulana began, "Listen, we're here to learn ethics. I'm renting this classroom to teach you, and I'll charge you for it." Gulshan Ali raised his hand, "But Maulana, why charge us?" Maulana's face showed disappointment as he calmly replied, "Because I'm human, I need to pay expenses and feed my family."

Maulana then asked, "What does Islam teach us about entering someone's house?" Omer Daraz, holding a cigarette, replied with a dull tone, "Umm... just bang and enter?" Maulana sighed, "No, Omer. First, you knock three times, then introduce yourself, and if no one opens, you leave quietly."

Iqbal Dil joked, "Do we lose lives after three knocks?" The class laughed, making Maulana angrier. "Enough! What would you do if someone abuses or bullies you?" Omer Daraz stood up, pulling out a revolver, "I'll kill him and set him on fire."

Maulana was stunned, "What? Put the gun back! You deal with it legally, not like that." Omer Daraz sucked on his cigarette, "What about chopping off the head?" Akbar Dad chimed in, "That's a good idea for Maulana Sahib, who keeps insisting on war with infidels." The class laughed again.

Maulana ended the class, "Enough for today. Class dismissed!" As the students left, Maulana went to the principal's office, where Principal Gaffar, a young, clean-shaven man in a suit, greeted him. "Ah, Maulana! How was your first class?"

Maulana replied, "It was... umm... I think it'll take time teaching them ethics and important religious issues." Principal Gaffar smiled, "Things take time. Please submit your fee at the end of the year. I have to face my wife."

Maulana nervously agreed, "Yeah, of course," before leaving the office.
