Chapter Seventy-two [ Funds issues]

Feeling that Rudolf has company during his periods of grief helps him stay awake and focused during the entire night at the hospital while Rhoda is still asleep. The two foster teenagers stay in the ward, sleeping after their nightly meals.

Since his adored wife only served to exalt the Lord, he was unable to place the blame for anything that happened to her on anyone. Rudolf goes on to say,

"Rhoda's breakdown was caused by weakness, which is a common occurrence in the process of a person becoming a Christian."
