Chapter Seventy-three [Tone of ringing]

When Rhoda's two teenagers left to go home and recuperate for a while on Wednesday afternoon, Rudolf decided to stay with Rhoda for the duration that she was restricted to the ward. Other foundation members observed that she had medical devices in her arms and nostrils to support her body's needs, but they did not appear to fully comprehend her condition.

“Even though we consider her to be the strongest person among us in both body and spirit, she was the first to falter over time. What is going on here? Why does God seem to be uncaring and let her suffer from illness?”

As the other person stated,

"Everyone couldn't afford to buy the nutritious foods that she possesses because of her limited budget. She still has this frail body even though she has the means to pay for all of her medical care!”

Despite their exceedingly degrading remarks, Rhoda's relatives listen to them in silence.
