Tensions

As Katy brought her lips for a kiss right after, Seth surprised her by raising his head and kissing her forehead instead.

A dismayed looked appeared in Katy’s eyes for a moment, but it quickly returned to normal as she bit her lip and asked: “Do you have someone else?”

Seth sighed, moving to wrap his arms around her back. “I do, but that’s not why. There are many things I would prefer not explaining right now.”

Katy’s chest felt somewhat heavy when she heard his answer, but she didn’t say anything else and continued enjoying his body’s warmth.

When Seth released her from his hug, Katy looked sad as she stood up and said: “I’m going to eat something.”

When she was gone, a pesky question appeared in his vision.
