Irrational Fears - Part Two

This bar is dingy with a few people scattered around drinking away their miserable lives. The atmosphere appears slightly depressing with the slow music and dim lights, but Elizabeth has a wide smile plastered on her face as she takes in the scene. Gods, her expectations are low.

"Elizabeth," I call her name, but she is too busy staring at the bottles stacked on the glass shelves ahead of us. Wonderful. I have a feeling I will be babysitting tonight. "Lizzy," I call her name again and take her chin in between my fingers, turning her to look at me.

"What?" she asks, looking up at me, her browns staring right into mine. The fire in them is impossible to miss.

"Be careful drinking. Don't overdo it." I warn her. "You know what happens when people drink too much?" I ask a rhetorical question.

"Yes, I know," she answers impatiently, and tries to move her eyes to look at the bottles of alcohol again, as I keep holding her chin.
