41 – A New Entertainment

"Yay!!!" Bonnie was jumping for joy on the small basketball court behind our house. We found some instant concrete to build the field and complete our water well.

"Let's try it." I threw the basketball to the tiny girl.

She caught that ball, dribbled it, and threw it into the hoop.

"It's less fun when I play alone." Bonnie talks to us while dribbling again. "Come on, guys, try to take this ball from me!"

"I can't play. My hands are too small." I sighed. I've rarely played sports before, but finding games in a world with so little entertainment made me want to participate. "Do you two want to come, Liz, Ciara?"

She shook her head. "No, looks like this isn't my forte."

"Can I, sir?" Ciara made a request, something she rarely did.

"Of course. What are you waiting for?"

Ciara ran onto the field to block Bonnie. The tiny girl tried to make a swerve, but Ciara could grab the ball and dunk. The super soldier already knows the rules of the game from Bonnie.
