Chapter 12: Lireesa's confession and her plans

Lireesa could read their deep thoughts and was relieved on how she was going to proceed next. Nodding at them slightly, she said in a low voice, "During coma, I felt as if drawn to some kind of existence traveling in the dark for a long time. And then, I saw a glimpse of the start of the Azeroth to the histories that I described to you. Despite it being a glimpse, I can assure you, all of events were true. After going through the past, my soul was dragged along and displayed what could possibly happened. The sight that I first saw nearly destroyed my heart. I'm aggrieved and furious. I saw my manor destroyed, countless dead Windrunners. I felt my whole soul chilled when I even found my youngest daughter, Lina in a cold body. Then, I also found mine as well, face filled with guilt and worries."

She was relief after speaking out what's on her mind the whole time. Although her hearts tightened every time she visioned the tragic events, but tears still wouldn't come out. Now it was the acting moment, and every play must be danced thoroughly. So, Lireesa pinched herself on the thighs, and tears started to flow from the pain. When the others recognized her tears, they felt bad, at the same time told themselves, how much pain she endured, seeing those tragedies in detailed and recalling them to prove herself. They also felt guilty and anxious simultaneously. They were completely convinced now; her vision must be due to some existence prompting them about the futures.

"I couldn't speak anymore, and it wouldn't do you any good." Lireesa said after heaving a huge breath out as if the whole body relaxed. "What I want you to know is to have your trust. I'll explain everything I do, and you can decide later, but please give me your support. And the wrath and suspicions of the high-level council are just a peck of a dust when compared with these plans related to life-and-death scenario." Of course, Lireesa must mitigate this situation from happening as much as possible.

"Why can't we tell the king," Alleria blurted out in ignorance, receiving a death look from two other fellows. She stammered in her later words, "I meant, if they can be persuaded, they would definitely help. The crisis doesn't just seem to only one family, it could fall upon the rest of the nations."

Sena besides Lireesa couldn't help but give a small thud to the back of Alleria's head and blamed her innocence, "Don't think the others will behave like we do. It's impossible for us to gain their trust. Instead, they'll raise their due vigilance and will judge that we'll be conspiring something that will threaten their rule of law. They may also believe we had another agenda. So don't think too simply, let us adult decide our next action." Sena looked at Ella who was also contemplating and gave her a slight nod in the direction of Lireesa.

Ella already understood the meaning of Sena. She was silent for a while and spoke in order to confirm, "The reason why you acted so urgently is because trolls are part of the culprits?"

"Yes, without their specialties in jungle warfare and familiarities with our rangers, the results would not be that tragic." Lireesa closed her eyes and murmured, "Although that event was still 200 years away, I've to be prepared."

"Wait, why urgent we still have time to come up with several strategies," Ella raised her voice. "The crisis is still far away and I, am of the opinion, we better cooperate with the Silvermoon Council. It is safer and more probable than your plans. Not to mention our kingdom is protected by enchantment."

Lireesa knew she would say that and was helpless. She couldn't confess, how many traitors popped up during several crisis, backstabbing talented patriots. Overreliance on the enchantment was another issue. What she had seen, proved that those enchantments were broken twice during these two invasions. Lireesa said, "Impossible for cooperation. If they were really helpful, my family would not suffer this disaster. You don't know what I saw, so you wouldn't think in my way."

Lireesa blurted out spreading her chilling killing intent, "I want those trolls to be exterminated or expel them from the forest around Quel'Thalas. They are the hidden dangers and the vision I had have proven. Solving them early before the real crisis meant, reducing the probability of our family crisis to 40 percent."

"40 percent!" Sena exclaimed. As a ranger general, her vision was broad, and she understood what the number meant. Even if they'd solved the troll problem, Windrunner still would face grave dangers. "Are the accomplices of trolls really dangerous? What race could possibly threaten Quel'Thalas?"

"it's that serious," Lireesa replied. "They aren't from Azeroth. They're outsiders, using the power of demons. These demon minions are very strong and make no mistake, it doesn't mean to underestimate our combat power. We must train hard and be prepared at all times. Due to peaceful era for a long time, high elves relax their spirit for too long and become negligent in some areas where they should be responsible. If we're already prepared and raise our powerhouse levels, and implements my plans, I can assure you, we'll be victorious and triumphed over this tribulation."

"And Alleria, my dear child," Lireesa added. "Now you know you must upgrade yourself as soon as possible. You must be responsible for your younger sisters' cultivations. I'll be helping beside you if my hands are free." Lireesa reached her hand over Alleria's head and rubbed adorably. Her hair like silk urged Lireesa to comb her hair gently; her heart filled with unexplainable sense of doting.

"Hmm." Alleria mouthed in agreement and closed her eyes enjoying her mother caress. Opposite to her, Sena face turned green, envying Alleria and wished to take her spot. Sena was looking forward to being together with Lireesa, because she discovered Lireesa didn't reject severely and took much milder approach. She said to herself to work hard and taking down her lord as a primary goal of her life in addition to follow Lireesa's plan.

Looking at Alleria and Sena, Ella rolled her eyes and asked what everyone had in thoughts: "So, what's your plan?"

Lireesa rubbed her chin and spoke out her thoughts, "Raise our guards to a minimum of 10000 Windrunners. Recruitment is on the agenda. Since Quel'Thalas is not eager for war, I believe we can chew these trolls bit by bit in 100 years and expel them from our land. To gain permission, we have to make some plans and play some politics. I know you guys hate those, but we had to do so."

Her eyes wandered around and her brain came up with an idea. She said, "Before, our whole Windrunner family doesn't have an arcane mage. From now on, let's try to recruit sorceress for our family. We can provide them with resources for their research or their cultivation."

"Recruitment for ranger is easy to say, but mages are rare and mostly controlled by members of Silvermoon Council." Ella quickly explained the difficulties. "They serve royal family members. And the only possible targets are fresh students from academy. Not to mention, books and knowledge related to arcane sorcery, is controlled and strictly monitored. The plan is going to be tough. One very major problem we had to address is the finance capabilities. Do we have enough money?"

The predicaments mentioned by Ella that she had to deal, nearly bulged her sane head. Not wanting to dive deeper, she just waved her hands and said, "Financial problem doesn't exist for me. I have my own thoughts." Ella was sure, she just had some ideas not detailed plans. It didn't matter, as long as Ella knew what Lireesa's outline plans were, she was sure to administer them.

Lireesa told herself, fortunately, in terms of business and politics, Azeroth is still outdated. Previous life methods would definitely work well here. She was also deeply conflicted with regards to improving Windrunners family. She wasn't sure if she should proceed toward scientific way or arcane magic. It appeared both could achieve the same result; if only they could combine together, she dreamt both usage as compliment toward one another eliminating the weakness and bolstering the strength.

Regardless, these ideas were too early to consider until she grasped destiny domain of herself through her own power. Frankly, she saw her love ones' shoulder becoming heavy and decided to push the mana addiction problem for the high elves out of the topic for now.

All of them went silent, each lost in their own world. Not sure if someone was really serious in their thoughts or grinning once in a while as if in the dream like Sena holding her giggle hard. Lireesa felt guilty for their pressure until she saw Sena. She now really understood why the old Lireesa would regularly ravage this sister, but anyway she'd forgave her. Later on in the possible future, they had to walk hands in hands over many hardships.

Azeroth world would never be in peace for a single moment after the crisis occurred. Wars, deaths, partnership, love, friendships, separation and betrayal all genuinely made the romance of warcraft and held their fans for 20 years. Now that she was inside the real Azeroth, her feelings went deeper. All these factors made her strongly resist to accept the tragic outcomes and she desired very much her strength to put familiar people she knew out of danger.

Everybody was in serious mode until incongruous sound rang in their ears. Alleria hugged her stomach with a red face when being stared at. The serious atmosphere disappeared. Lireesa chuckled and called for a lunch together. Together, they strode toward the dining hall near the training camp.
