Fight From The Grave VI

It looked like a small mom and pop store. To my surprise, nothing in here was ransacked or broken. It's the perfect place to take a break. Which is exactly what we needed right now. I set the boy down and turned to leave.

"H-hey where are you going?! Are you gonna kill me too?!" He grabs the nearest weapon, scissors, and points it at me. I like how I can read and understand what he's saying despite it hearing it in another language.

Despite his rude assumption, I walk around the store to grab some supplies. The place was small, but it had all the necessities. I walk over to the medicine section and grab some bandages, ointment, and painkillers. Even if I can heal, there's only so much mana I can use. There were even some clothes, I could change out of from my blood soak, cut and ripped cat onesie. I still plan on keeping it. I change into a giant shirt that hung a little over my knees. I had shorts underneath my onesie, so I didn't need to bother looking for any.

Once I was done, I grabbed a smaller matching shirt and head back to the Korean little boy.

He was still sitting on the floor where I last left him. When he sees me come out of the corner, the scissors went straight back to following me.

"That's sure to point those things at someone who saved you." I throw the shirt to his face. Panicked, he pulls the shirt away from him and swings his scissors around.

When he realized, I wasn't doing anything he stops and glares at me.

"What!? I don't even understand what you're saying. " He then blushes, "I'm not even good in English."

I chuckle and point at the clothes again.

"Take your dirty clothes off and change into that." I point at the shirt and to him, hoping he'd understand me.

I guess he wasn't a stupid little kid, because he huffs and blushes at me, "T-turn around! You can't look!"

What am I? A perv? Then again, this country is very modest and reserved about their clothing and such... or that's what I assume from watching kdramas. Instead of waiting for him to be embarrassed and change, I went around to look for some food.

"Mmm... guess we'll take cup ramen and kimbap." I walk around till I found the water and pour both cups with hot water. There were still some vegetables and meat that the store had left out, so I added some on both cups. I made sure to give the boy extra vegetables and meat. I put the food on a tray and carry it back to the boy. On my way, I snagged us a couple of coke off the fridge and some waters.

When I got back he was done changing and back to pointing the knife at me. I smile at his tenacity.

Ignoring his hostility, I sit down and put the tray between us. I'm glad that he wasn't bleeding anywhere even after all that beating. I stick my palm towards him and not saying a word, I activated my skill.

[HEALING OF AN ANGEL] has been activated, 1 mana.

The boy's eyes widen in surprise when he suddenly glows and his entire body was mostly healed. He gave stared at me like I was some kind of alien, still pointing the scissors at me. However, I just stared at him. After all the healing, I recognized his face. It was the little boy who was standing next to me when I first teleported. Seeing as how he didn't have the puppy with him, it might have not made it.

I feel so bad for him, being all alone now. I scoot next to him and pull out my bandages, remembering that my skill doesn't completely heal 100% to other people.

I take his now healer ankle and begin to wrap it. When I was satisfied, I moved back and begin eating my food.

I move the cup ramen and kimbap closer to him.

"Eat." I commanded. He looks at the cup ramen warily and his stomach grumbles out loud. He blushes again furiously and picks it up.

"Why do I have some much vegetables?" He glares at me and I proceed to ignore him, scarfing down food. It's not much, but I am so damn happy to be alive and eat food again. I open the can of coke and slide it to him before opening myself one.

"Wahh! I love this drink!" The sweet carbonated drink fills my stomach. Now I'm back in commission to kick some ass.

He was done eating all of his food. He quickly picks up the tray and throws the food away for me. He's pretty cute acting all mean.

I sit back and check on my profile. Hmmm... Looks like I should move my stats around.

"Let's put this much here, then here and then there and that's should be good for now. "

"But... why is my level still in the negatives?" I frown and swipe the interface away, "Let's just worry about it later. Maybe everyone is dealing with the same thing... Now, Baal. Can you explain to me why I can't use the skill earlier?"

[7th DEMON PRINCE, BAAL IS STAYING SILENT. ]

[ARCHANGEL, ARIEL SAYS THAT HE IS STAYING LOW. THEREFORE, [DEMON'S POSSESSION] WON'T BE AVAILABLE TILL YOU PASS THIS SCENARIO.]

"Ugh, great. Now I have to fight without the mobility of flying." I pout and try to come up with a plan to pass this scenario. It wasn't long till the boy comes back with two backpacks. Looking bashful, he drops the bag by my feet. I give him an eyebrow and take a look in the bag.

There were trail mix, kimbap, canned meat, water bottles, bandages, a shirt, medicine and... pads. He did think of everything.

"There's food, water, necessities, and medicine." He scratches his head, "I'm not even sure if you understand me."

I stood up and water over to him. He still had his guard around me, but he wasn't pointing scissors anymore. I softly ruffle his head and take his hand. We walk towards the school supplie section, and I pull out a paper and pen.

I scribbled stick figure guys that we were fighting earlier. I think there were about 8 of them, so I put 800 points on the whole group. I then draw a stick figure of the kid and I before drawing a line from the 800 points to him.

"W-what?! You're going to give me all the points?! B-but..." There is less than 2 hours now before this scenario ends. I wanted to at least let this kid leave and move to the next one. As cruel as that may be, I would rather not see him die but fight his way to live.

"B-but, what about you?" He asks, drawing a question mark on the stick figure of me.

I just shook my head and drew my best of the monsters we saw when the portal first opened. The little boy nods, understanding, but I can tell he doesn't like my idea.

I then write my name next to my stick figure. Marianne Primrose.

He reads it and snatches the paper from me. He writes his name in Hangul.

"Dal Jung-woo, call me Jung-woo." He kept repeating his name and pointing at himself as if trying to help me how to pronounce his name. I chuckle and pat his head.

"Marianne." I give him my hand. He looks at it and looks away as if not interested. He takes my hand anyway.

"Nice to meet you."
