The owner of the house chuckled. He teased his friend laughingly, “For you, she’s an ex. Anyhow, do you have feelings for her or do you not?”


“If I answered that I did, what would you say?”


Pongket narrowed his eyes to look at his friend. “Don’t joke around.”


“If that’s so, let’s go into the house then. I’ve come to visit my niece and nephew,” the young doctor said as he walked ahead into the house without waiting for an invitation from the owner of the house. He passed Sakunthara, who had just walked out.


“Let me offer you my congratulations, Thara. Pong just told me he took you to sign a marriage certificate yesterday.”
